Mid-century apartment well preserved. Feels like grandma's apartment ''in a cool way''. Two-bedroom unit can accommodate 4 with two queen luxurious beds with down alternative pillows, down comforter, and high thread count sheets. Bathroom has artisan applied specialty painting with Turkish travertine shower surround and vanity. Kitchen has original red tile and linoleum flooring with newer appliances including the simple basics to cook at home. Dining Room has a touch of formality and a bit of bling with original kitchy chandelier. Living Room has comfortable seating and 42'' flat screen TV. The TV comes with Roku including Hulu + Live TV. Good closet storage throughout bedrooms and central hallway.

DESIGNATED PARKING with carport and driveway that accommodates 2 vehicles. Parking is highly coveted as the neighborhood becomes more dense.

One of the charms of this property is that it is in a quiet neighborhood for a city location. As much as we want our guests to have a good time, please be aware this is not a party pad. The sofa is not intended to be additional sleeping for guests and additional bedding is not provided.

Centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Stone Way bus lines to downtown, etc. Stone Way starts at Lake Union and goes north to Greenlake and quickly becoming a hot new street with restaurants and shopping. Near Gasworks Park, Burke Gilman Trail, Woodland Park Zoo, Fremont, The Troll, 2 miles to Husky stadium and the University of Washington. Business travelers will find convenient to software, internet, and biotech companies located in Fremont and South Lake Union. Also convenient for visitors of the University House retirement community.

This is a great place to stay. The owners have used their respective work skills in interior design and stone masonry to finish and furnish the apartment tastefully and comfortably. The apartment evokes the style of an earlier era, the 1950s, but the finish is superb, with all the conveniences a modern traveler could look for. Off-street parking is a big plus. The Wallingford neighborhood is full of charm, with plenty of shops and restaurants just a few blocks up the hill from the apartment, and down the hill Lake Union and Gasworks Park, with a spectacular view across the water of the downtown skyline. A ring binder of instructions explains everything you need to know from the moment of checkin to checkout, with contact information for the hosts (whom you also may meet as we did when they came to do a little outside yard work) if you have any questions. My son was so impressed with the place that he immediately booked another visit for a few months later, and we plan a return next year. I have never been so reluctant to see the end of my stay in a vacation rental as I did on this occasion.

Check-in was smooth, everything was clean, and well organized. The hosts were excellent communicators. Our stay was comfortable and the neighborhood was beautiful and centrally located to numerous Seattle attractions. Also, the mid-century modern style was very appealing. Five stars.

Wonderful accommodations!

This was the perfect place for our vacation. Our host was very well organized and easy to get in touch with. The apartment was clean. We had fresh linens and all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The apartment was close to restaurants, coffee shops and entertainment. We rented cars in the neighborhood or walked wherever we needed to go. Very convenient location. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and Great Location

This place was very clean and had extremely comfortable beds. The location is great being very near the UW campus for us yet only a 10-15 minute drive into downtown Seattle. The town of Wallingford is cute and you can walk to many restaurants. We will definitely stay again if our son decides to go to UW.

Home away from home.

We loved the house and Randy was very nice and informative. This was our first time in Seattle and we had a great time. We will definitly recommend this property to all our friends. Wonderful place

We were on a father-son vacation visiting Seattle for the first time. This was an ideal place to stay and had everything we would possibly need. It is located a short Uber ride from the downtown and tourist atrractions. Randy, the owner, was most helpful and gave us a number of useful touring suggestions.

Felt like home away from home.

Such a comfortable place to stay during our visit to Seattle. All rooms were spacious and all four of us felt very comfortable whether we were eating in the dinning room, relaxing in the living room or cooking in the kitchen. The location was great for uber pickups into downtown and there were coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Food shopping was less than a 10 minute drive. Randy was very welcoming and provided us with suggestions and ideas for during our stay. We would stay here again!

Fantastic Wallingford Location

It was close enough to all the Seattle attractions that we wanted to see. It was a very nice and clean apartment . Randy was super to deal with, informative and quick to take care of our needs. Loved having laundry available on site. We would stay here again if ever in the area. The streets for parking are crazy narrow, thank goodness for Uber! :)

Very quiet neighborhood.

We enjoyed the beautiful flora in the neighborhood. A visit to the Gas Works Park in the evening was delightful. The owner was very accommodating and met us when we arrived. Home was very pleasant to stay in and we had everything we needed. The appliances and laundry are modern, clean, and all worked fine.

Clean and convenient apartment in great neighborhood

My husband and I stayed at this rental and absolutely loved our time there, so much so that we extended our trip! The owners were very communicative and helpful, and made sure all our needs were met. Great location, clean, and well stocked

This was perfect. Owner was pleasant and extremely helpful with information about the area. Unit was very clean and well maintained. We appreciated that it was stocked with cleaning supplies, coffee, and bath amenities. Beds were warm and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when we come to visit our daughter who is relocating after graduation. Can't think of anything that would make it better. On site laundry was a bonus.

Weekend in Wallingford

Very spacious 2 bedroom with full bath. The rooms were spotless. It was only a few blocks to Stone Way and 45th but very quiet allowing us to sleep easy and nap before dinners out in the area. The off street parking was a real plus as we arrived after 11 PM and we knew that we would not need to haul our luggage.
