Fremont cottage w/garage, light-filled, walkable

New 1 bedroom light-filled home in a wonderful location with easy access to everything! This charming cottage is a stand-alone home in a quiet neighborhood, close to Woodland Park Zoo, Sunday Ballard Farmer's Market, Fremont, Wallingford, and more. Complete with a washer/dryer, large shower with seat, and heated bathroom floors. Parking is under the cottage in a private garage (for mid-size SUVs or smaller...larger vehicles might not fit). The cottage has a full kitchen and quality furnishings.

The cottage is located above a private one-car garage, reserved for cottage guest use at no additional charge. Bedroom offers a queen bed, dresser and closet space. A high end Crate and Barrel sleeper sofa is available as a second bed in the living room to create a 2 bed sleeping configuration for up to 3 guests.

The kitchen is a real treat for anyone who enjoys cooking; stocked with Calphalon cookware, Bertazzoni gas range, refrigerator, microwave, garbage disposal, and dishwasher.

Private bathroom has a large shower with built in sitting ledge. Bathroom amenities include heated floors, washer/dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

This is a no-smoking property.

Unfortunately, while we love pets and have a few of our own, we cannot accommodate pets in our cottage, so please leave Fido and Fluffy at home. We also have no safety features for young children, but will consider having older children stay with us if the accommodations seem appropriate for them.

Lisa was a fantastic host! We visited for a long weekend and from the location could get to Ballard, downtown, and other neighborhoods pretty quickly. The place was cozy, clean, quiet, and beautifully put together. The kitchen was well stocked. She even had fresh coffee beans and a grinder! The bed was comfortable. Can't say enough good things about this spot and host. We will definitely stay again next time we're up in Seattle.

This is a perfect little gem of a cottage. So thoughtfully designed and appointed. Clean,comfortable and light filled. The garage is a nice bonus. Quiet neigborhood with plenty of privacy. The host is very helpful and really tries to be accommodating. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Just perfect. Highly recommended!

This is an awesome place. Comfortable beds, of special note is a great sofa bed, very well stocked (including snacks and coffee), clean, owner communication easy and timely. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect cottage with all the amenities

The cottage was conveniently located close to Fremont and was private and super quiet. We had all the amenities we could want in the kitchen. All the appliance were high end and brand new and the bedroom was comfortable and well appointed. A perfect place for a couple or small family to stay in Seattle. Lisa was a communicative and wonderful host.

Perfect for us

Everything we needed was here. Sweet, efficient, clean, nicely landscaped and private dwelling. Did not want for anything. Very comfortable bed. Great shower (even for tall people)!

Cute and clean!

My husband and I stayed at this property over the July 4th holiday. Pics are accurate – very clean and tidy. Owner has put lots of effort into anticipating guest needs and even some thoughtful extras (loved the snack basket, upscale Stumptown coffee and wine in fridge). Owner was super responsive to any and all questions. If you want to be in Fremont, this is a good find. Alley was a bit tight to maneuver but we appreciated the garage and not having to find street parking. Directions for check in/check out very clear. All in all, a gracious, kind host and cute/clean place to crash for a few days.

Great stay at the Fremont Cottage

The cottage was bright, airy, and immaculate. A quiet and confident spot. When we arrived we were tired and ready to relax and the cottage had treats, snacks, and coffee with everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Great place to stay, would highly recommend this spot for your next visit!!

Perfect for a short stay

Property looks just like the photos. It was nice that there is a private entrance and a kitchen. The host was very communicative and the special touches they include made the stay extra special! Also a comfy bed :)

Awesome Apartment in Great Location

We had a wonderful stay in Lisa's apartment! A big plus was that we were able to park in the garage, and there is an outlet for charging your EV. The apartment was spotless, and there were such nice touches - fresh flowers, good coffee and tea, a basket full of nice snacks, and a nice bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival. Also, there was a Brita jug in the fridge for filtered water. The bed and other furnishings were super comfy and the appliances were all top notch. There was even a compost bin, and a veggie burger cookbook in the kitchen that we had to order for ourselves. Check-in and checkout were easy. We would absolutely return to this lovely little rental!

Great stay in Fremont

I lucked out finding this place. Needed a last minute booking to come into the city and this place popped up. The space was super bright and clean - probably one of the nicest homes I’ve stayed in. The snacks and wine were a nice touch. We parked in the garage and walked all around the neighborhood - it’s a nice area. Hosts were great and check-in was easy. This is definitely my go to for trips into the city going forward.
