The modern kitchen, bath with deep soaking tub, & additional cozy patio that extends your kitchen living space to the outdoors, make for the perfect tranquil retreat.

We are walking distance to local cafes & shops and iconic views of the Space Needle.

Your hostess lives on the property & doubles as your trip planner and concierge as needed... It is our goal to make every guest feel like they are the first.

We take pride in cleanliness, non-toxic cleaning, & quality control in-between each cleaning.

We're close to everything that Seattle has to offer without the “busy” city life feel.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

The Lofthouse is a soft place to land at the end of an adventurous Seattle day!

- Gentle Waterfalls and a stream tumble into a Koi pond that you can view from the lower deck
- Lower deck with comfy furniture surrounded by tall pine trees for a cozy feel
- Lush garden view (yard is a shared space)
- Rooftop deck with sweeping views of the Sound and Olympic Mts.


INTERIOR:
Off the deck entryway, The Lofthouse opens up into a main level full kitchen and bath.

Open the French doors to extend your living space on warm weather days, while you lounge on the deck. Or pull up a stool and set a “table for 1-2” at our kitchen counter island.

We offer a free standing AC unit during the hotter months of May-September that will have a vent hose through a small window on the North side of the bedroom next to the writing desk.

Your bedroom offers a small writing nook where you can either get some undistracted work done, read one of the many books in our 1st floor library, or simply gaze out the window to the oceanic views, while sipping your morning brew.

BEDROOM SKYLIGHT & ROOFTOP DECK:
Sleep under the stars while lying in bed looking up at the night sky...

The skylight is the only window in the bedroom that doesn’t have a shade, so expect natural light in your space. Other bedroom windows have shades for privacy, but they aren’t blackout.

- The rooftop deck is only accessible via a library style antique ladder at the base of your bed, that ascends up through a skylight hatch. Please note this ladder is a steep grade.
- SKYLIGHT IS CLOSED DURING RAIN OR POTENTIAL RAINY DAYS.
- Do not access the rooftop deck if you are afraid of heights.
- Coming down the ladder is easy for most, and it takes a calm mind and BALANCE.
- The hatch is not one size fits all... because every BODY is different, use your best judgement if it's a good fit for you.


PARKING:
- Free street parking
- Please note we are on a hill
- You will receive extensive instructions on how to find the Lofthouse's ALLEY ENTRANCE & where to park prior to your stay


TRANSPORTATION/TRAFFIC:
Public transportation is easily accessible from our street.
- The #1 BUS picks up 1 block away and drops off 2 blocks from our address.
- Uber & Lyft usually are just a 3-5 minute wait for a ride and are plentiful in this city... app required.
- Lime bikes and electric scooters are also available around the hill. App required.


KIDS or Accommodating a 3rd Guest:
This property has several stairs, extreme heights, and a rooftop deck that’s only accessible via an indoor ladder. Therefore, is not safe for toddlers.

- Kids must be over the age of 8 to stay at The Lofthouse and must be supervised at all times. (AKA not left alone).
- Anyone younger, please message me first before booking.
- We DO have a twin air mattress available for use if prearranged in advance, to accommodate a third guest.


LOCATION:
Queen Anne Hill, Seattle offers a quiet neighborhood feel while being minutes away from local attractions.
- 5 to 7 min drive to Seattle Center, Climate Pledge Arena, & local shops/restaurants
- 10 min drive from Cruise Ship Terminals
- 20 min walk to iconic views of the Space Needle
- 5 to 25 min walk to local coffee shops, restaurants, & boutique style shops
- 10 min Uber ride to Pike Place Market or anything downtown


OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

- NO SMOKING (anything) anywhere on the property please. Our hardwired fire/CO2 alarms are sensitive.

- Currently we are a NO PETS VRBO experience...

- This property is located on a hill and contains many stairs inside and out.

- NO oven

- NO TV (for tranquility)

- We occupy the main home on this property next to The Lofthouse, so you may hear us when we are home/outdoors, including our energetic pups. Our yard is a shared space.

- During the warmer months (spring/summer) we provide a portable in window AC unit. During the rest of the year, we remove it to save you space.

- Radiant heat is provided on both floors and through a ceiling heater in the bathroom.

- Water heater is standard 50 gallon size, shorter showers are recommended. If you fill the deep soaking tub, hot showers after you soak may be briefly delayed as the hot water replenishes...

- Our Pond may be covered at times during your stay. This is to protect our beloved fish from natures predators. Our waterfall/river feature is always running.
