Located only 7 miles from downtown Seattle, we are a great central location to many of the major Seattle hospitals and healthcare facilities as well as University of Washington. Commuting is a breeze with the Northgate Light Rail station only 1 mile away and Rapid Ride Bus line a 5 minute walk. Link Light Rail provides quick trips to University of Washington, downtown, Lumen Field, T-Mobile Park and the Seattle-Tacoma Airport. Sea-Tac is 15-20 minutes by car and 45 minutes by Light Rail with a mere cost of $3.50 and trains that run every 8 minutes.

Before booking, please review the house rules to ensure this home meets your needs. This is the upper unit of a two unit renovated home. This peaceful home is part of a separated duplex, offering a private and comfortable space for you to enjoy and relax. Each unit features its own entrance, as well as separate BBQ and outdoor living areas, ensuring you have plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. You’ll have all the privacy you need, while also enjoying the tranquil ambiance of the neighborhood, yard and creek. We have a shared yard for recreation & relaxation, dogs, and children. Additional pet policies apply and proof of vaccination/flea & tick protection will be required prior to stay.

We are dedicated to offering a comfortable and natural environment for all our visitors. Please note that some of our bedding contains down feathers, and our decor' includes natural elements. Because we are a natural environment, animals and insects can we seen on occasion. We have professional, environmentally friendly, pest control services monthly.

We support eco-friendly, sustainable, and environmentally-considerate purchases and practices wherever possible. We forgo single-use items such as Keurig coffee pods, use Brita pitchers for filtered water, and recycle extensively.

Your Thornton Creek host is a registered nurse, and we are proud to offer patients of our local hospitals and their families lodging during necessary but difficult times. We are centrally located to the following medical facilities:
Kaiser Permanente Northgate Medical Center: 1 mile

Exterior cameras are at the front of each unit and record sound and video. There are NO inside cameras. However, we do monitor for sound decibel levels, smoke, and number of people present.

Cute home with everything you need for a trip away. Cozy beds, well stocked kitchen, wonderful yard with space for the kids and dog to toss a Frisby. Very pet friendly. Only note that was not clear when I booked is this is a single home spit into two units. So if you want your own private place, this is not that. it was a non-issue for us, and we'd gladly come back again.

We stay in Seattle a lot, as we have a grandchild there. We rent houses so we can have our dog and grandchild interact and we can have family meals together. This is the nicest place we’ve stayed and the quiet location was perfect. The Thornton Creek greenbelt behind the house is surreal.

Our main reason for staying in this area was that it was close to Seattle Childrens Hospital. We were traveling for medical and it was a short drive. There is a park/playground within walking distance but we didnt get a chance to use it due to weather.The house had everything stocked, laundry, bathroom, and plenty of items in the kitchen.The only negative was the dog poop around the lower part of the property and yard. We stayed upstairs, there was a person staying downstairs with a dog. There are rules that all garbage and recycling needs to be taken to the cans prior to check out. Unfortunately there was dog poop in the yard and near the cans. We did not take advantage of the yard partially due to this. Overall it was decent. And great communication with the host.

We stayed here because it was 4 blocks away from our son's home as we were visiting. Wow! Wonderful place, clean, excellent communication and had everything we needed. Also great for pets.We will be staying again!

This property is perfect for anyone wanting a quiet environment in an urban setting. The owner has made sure there are lots of the little things (plush robes, charging cords, sleep masks) to make you feel pampered during your stay. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with the woods in your backyard if you are interested in a nature walk. Groceries and other stores just a short walk away.
