Oceanfront Duplex with VIEWS - 4 Bed/2 Ba w/Easy Beach Access on South Side of Promenade. Sleeps up to 9 people. Perfect family home is in the north unit of a duplex at Ave "S" cross street. Enjoy your vacation watching the ocean, or take the beach path straight ahead to the sand and shore. Walking downtown to Broadway is a short 12-15 minute walk. Perfect! Main floor has a very comfy living room with views, flat screen TV with SmartTV with APP's to login to your favorite streaming shows. Galley style kitchen, dining room (view from here, too), plus a full bathroom with shower just off the living room. The bedroom on the main floor has a Full size bed. 2nd floor has a SPECTACULAR oceanfront bedroom with a Queen bed, and 2 cozy chairs to sit and view the panoramic shore and Tillamook Head. Next bedroom has 2 twin beds and the 2nd bathroom with jetted tub/shower combo, is easily accessible from either room. Head up to the 3rd floor loft for a perfect kids/teens room with 1 full size bed and 2 more twins. Deck out front with seasonal outdoor furniture stored off the back porch. There is no BBQ available. Book now for your family vacation. Street parking only. THIS PROPERTY DOESN'T HAVE PRIVATE PARKING Guest MUST park on the street. No smoking home, No pets please. MUST BE 25 TO RENT PROPERTY.

This could have been a great place to stay however the neighbor had visitors so there was a large RV right out the front living room window. The only clocks are in the kitchen and dining room. We found old food from someone under the table and several spiderweds by the stairs along with broken toys, candy, dog food and what appeared to be dog hair under the couch when we changed up the seating(which we put back before check out) all of that could have been over looked but there are a few things that made it worse...one of the beds in the room with 2 twins was broken, my 40lb child sat on it and the entire thing fell thru the frame as there was another mattress under this bed my guess is they know that it is not safe. Also the bedroom on the main floor has this door with a sign "porch belongs to long term resident please do not access" would have been totally fine if the DOOR LOCKED so our entire stay someone else could have accessed where we were staying via a bedroom at any given time( my 5 yearold tried to open the "locked" door and bam it opened) needless to stay we did not use that room as everybody was uncomfortable. They advertised that they have parking at this property and that is false as there is no designated parking it is street parking so if you have a spot when you get there and drive anywhere there is no guarantee you will have a spot again(we lost our spot, lucky to have gotten it back before check out)

The location and view were excellent. The house itself wasn’t noteworthy. The dishwasher was weak so many of the plates and cups were dirty when we got them out of the cupboards. There was a broken light upstairs, my wife adjusted blinds and the whole thing came down, and the heater would kick on downstairs and be very loud. Again, it was still nice to be so close to the beach!

Perfect for our Seaside Visit!

This property was wonderful. The location, available space, and cost are what led to us choosing this one. And it was perfect! Beautiful views and very convenient location for beach and walking to all the attractions. The appliances are older, but worked great! Well stocked with tea kettles and dishes (which we made all our own meals… so thank you!). Kids used boogie boards, and we used folding chairs available in storage area. It was a wonderful trip and this house was a great resting and launching point.

Quick getaway

Great location on the prom, comfortable couch on 1st floor, comfortable beds in main 2nd floor location which has an excellent view. Really enjoyed our time there.

Good stay

The house and stay were great! The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to eat and cook. Other places I’ve stayed seem to always lack on kitchen supplies. Lots of beds to choose from and the view from the master bedroom is great. The only thing we had issues with was the jets for the tub didn’t seem to work but not a big deal. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Beautiful location

Loved the views, proximity to ocean is great! Couch, furniture a little worn. Needs a coffee table in living room..and no bowls!?! Peaceful, quiet neighborhood, barking dogs next door at times. Best view ever! Right on the Promenade!

Breathtaking View

The property was large, nicely decorated and looked just like the photos as advertised. The front entrance was a little congested and difficult to navigate with luggage etc, but once we were in and learned the flow, we got along just fine. The house was extremely clean and welcoming. The view from the Master Bedroom on the second floor was absolutely stunning! It was unseasonably warm (92 degrees F in May) so the house was rather warm with no A/C. There were a few ceiling fans available, which helped, but the top floor with three beds was completely unusable due to the heat. The jetted tub was not functional, but was listed as an amenity. Not a huge deal, but it should probably not be removed from the listing as an amenity if not functioning. All of the kitchen/laundry appliances were clean and functional. There were a few staples available as far as condiments and spices which came in handy! We loved the large dining area even though there were only 4 of us staying at this property, we had family renting several other houses in the area and we were able to comfortably host a breakfast for a few guests. We loved that there were boogie boards and sand toys available for younger children. Our children are 17 and 22 so we didn't have a need for them, but we felt they were a nice touch for families with smaller kids. Parking is a little tricky being right by the promenade. There were several times we left to sightsee and came back with no where to park even directly in front of the property. I don't know if there is a solution for this or not? There are long term residents who occupy the back of the property, and other than letting out their dogs and leaving in their vehicles you wouldn't even know that they were there. They were very quiet and respectful! The hike to the beach was reasonably short and the sand was lovely and silky! We did a ton of shell/sand dollar hunting and came home with a big haul! We did find that people passing by were dumping their trash into the bins allocated for the property. So the hosts may want to reconsider their bin placement. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and our family members were all jealous of our "Breathtaking View" and proximity to the ocean. We definitely feel that we got our money's worth, and would gladly rebook at this same property!

Location was great! House is actually a duplex and is in need of updating.

The upstairs bedroom has an amazing view of the ocean!! The downstairs bathroom shower was lukewarm at best. The bedroom door rattled all night in the wind. Furniture is worn. The steps and ramp new leading you to think upgrades are in the way!!! It has so much potential and for the price, it should be

Great Location

Mostly good. You will have to go through someone's2nd floor bedroom to get to the third top floor bunks. Was told we would have a charcoal grill through email communication. So we prepared for this to do our birthday celebration steaks...the grill was actually a propane grill but without propane! We ended up FRYING our steaks for 7 and filled the kitchen with smoke! Hope the SMOKE alarm didn't upset our neighbors. This is a shared house and I hope we weren't disruptive! The very best part was LOCATION! Can't beat being right on the beach.

Great Stay in Seaside

We loved our stay in Seaside! The best part about this rental was its proximity to the beach and to the prom. We were a short walk into town but could also enjoy some peace and quiet on the beach. We had a bonfire on the beach almost every night of our stay. There was ample space for sleeping for our group of 8. The upstairs bathroom was beautiful with a jacuzzi tub that the kids loved. The downstairs bathroom was much smaller but still got the job done. The kitchen has not been renovated in a while but it was clean and well-stocked with anything you might need to cook. All of the living spaces were clean. If we ever make it back to Seaside, we will definitely be back to this rental!

The location was great but the house is in SERIOUS need of TLC. The dining room blinds were filthy, the sectional couch was really in bad shape, dirty, torn, threadbare and lost all support. Visible dirt under the couch. The other furniture in the living room was uncomfortable. The carpet was worn and stained. The laundry area had dust covered cobwebs. Some of the plates in the cupboard were dirty. The coffee maker lid was broken and had to be put in the coffee maker "just so" so the water would drip The lamp in the kids room was jiggly and the light flickered (fire hazard?). We didn't see any smoke detectors (code violation?). The shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom looked moldy at the bottom of the curtain. Replacing the coffee maker, lamps, shower curtains wouldn't cost much and would make a big improvement. A THOROUGH DEEP CLEAN IS A MUST. A near term replacement of the living room furniture should be budgeted for. Eventual updating of the kitchen and flooring should be budgeted for soon. For the price you pay, I felt the house was substandard. I would not stay in this house again unless some updating/cleaning is done.

Excellent Location

When we arrived, i was shocked at the dirty bathroom. We had to rewash the sheets, and vaccum the bathrooms due to long hair. I recommend the owners do a remodel of the home for the amount of money they get per night. Its a bit outdated , furniture is old , carpet and flooring is way past its date. I would hire a new cleaning company and update it .

Good place, but needs a good scrubbing

The overall rental process was pretty easy and straightforward and the location of the home is great. That being said, the house wasn't particularly clean. It wasn't disgusting, but there were plenty of dust bunnies visible under the couch, and the kitchen wasn't very clean at all. The house is a duplex, but that was no problem. The view is killer, and being right on the prom was great as well for walking. For the price, it was a nice place to sleep for a couple of nights while we were out and about doing other things.

Perfect and Amazing Location

The location of this property was perfect for us. We had 2 toddlers, a teenager and a baby. Nobody wants to haul all of their belongings for blocks and blocks with small children in tow. This spot was perfect, as we were right on the quiet end of the prom, with beach access. The views were nice, the dining area was spacious and the TV was nice to have for the kids. The price for the location, compared to other properties this close to the ocean, was pretty good too. The only gripes we had were the floors being rather sticky when we first got there, and some of the beds were not suitable for anyone to sleep on, but we were ok and made do and didn't expect perfection. I think a few tiny upgrades of beds and bedding and a very thorough cleaning would make this place more enjoyable, but we really did enjoy our stay, regardless.

Perfect getaway

Great location and steps away to private part of the beach. Rooms were good sizes and accommodated our group of 5 adults and 2 kids. Master room and living room had excellent views of the ocean. Kitchen was stocked with adequate things. Recommend bringing your own seasonings and sugar. Located on end of promenade, low foot traffic and noise. About a 15 minute walk to all the shops and aquarium. Definitely would re-book

very misleading pictures and description of property.

The house is very old and the beds are very uncomfortable! The kitchen is tiny and only fits one person. One bed broke in the middle of the night. Huge party in the other side of the house that is blocked off. Noise till 4 am. It says 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms with the 3 beds is through another room to get there. The added bathroom downstairs is so small and the shower reminds me of an rv shower, Very tiny! The couch looks like it came from goodwill. The location was great! On the prom and a nice walk to town.
