  • Based in the oldest part of Seahouses only a short walk from the beach and thriving harbour. Ideal, modern seaside base for six.. Ground Floor:

    First Floor:

    Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

    Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric storage heaters, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Towel hire.. Sitting-out area (shared). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Tucked away in a quiet courtyard, this delightful refurbished stone built cottage provides very attractive welcoming accommodation in the oldest part of Seahouses. Only a short walk from the beach and busy harbour, it provides an excellent base for a seaside holiday. The many attractions of the Heritage Coast and award winning countryside are within a few minutes drive. Shops, pubs, restaurants, and an 18 hole links golf course all nearby. Shops 300 yards, pubs 50 yards.

Loved my stay in seahouses

The property was excellent and near the harbour so in easy reach of everything. With really nice pubs, restaurants and takeaways we were spoilt for choice for food. Bonus was the kippers at the other end of the road. Will definitely look to stay at the property again. Loved the property, situation and the surrounding area.

Thank you we had a lovely holiday.Cons: Dirty bedding in one room. Cobwebs in numerous places.Dirty cutlery. No toilet roll, ( desperate for the toilet when we arrived. Had to sit on the loo till partner unloaded the car) not good.No instruction on how to use hob,(drove me mad trying to work it out)Heating was far to hot.Pros, near to everything. Shops, pubs food shops. Close to the harbour. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Seahouses centre

Lovely spacious property (there were 4 of us staying, 2 adults and two teenage kids) - and Georgie the Cairn Terrier. Perfectly located for everything. 1 minute from the pub, 1 minute from the harbour, 4 minutes from all the shops and facilities, 10 minutes (in either direction!) from fantastic beaches. The car remained almost unused all week, everything right there on your doorstep. Excellent.

Lovely warm, comfortable and welcoming cottage. Parking is not easy in this part of the village so having 2 dedicated spaces is a great feature. Beautiful area so we'll hopefully be back to Puffin Cottage again.

Lovely, unexpectedly large cottage in a great location just around the corner from the harbour. It looks deceiving from the outside but has plenty of room. Excellent base to explore the local area. Very comfortable and quiet in the evenings, just what you need at the end of a busy day exploring the local area!

Kitchen not clean.

Kitchen not clean. Extractor hood dripping with grease, cupboard doors each side of hood thick with grease and pans not clean. This unfortunately made me doubt the cleanliness of the whole kitchen so set about cleaning the whole lot. Not really how you would want to start your holiday. Apart from that, cottage spacious, although could do with an extra loo! Location and local amenities excellent. Had a really good week, shame about the cleaning that had to be done first.

Fantastic warm, well equipped cottage in the middle of Seahouses. In a secluded courtyard with safe parking. The cottage was used by 4 adults and 1 child and was perfect for us. 5 minutes walk from the harbour and main street which has shops and plenty of restaurants. The nearest pub is a minute away! Possibly the only slight critism would be that there is only 1 bathroom. Maybe the large storage room next to the bathroom could be converted to a shower room at some time?

Great cottage.

Great cottage. Clean with good facilities and well equipped. If I was to make a suggestion to make it better I would say it lacked a bath mat, hand soap in the bathroom and toilet roll. However we had a fabulous holiday and would use the city again and recommend it to family and friends

This is our family's second visit to Puffin Cottage.

This is our family's second visit to Puffin Cottage. it is an ideal centre for exploring this part of the world, and the closeness to the harbour satisfies all of us. We are Grandsie (me) my daughter , her partner and their 5 year old daughter, so accomodation has to be chosen carefully- which is why we came back a second time, and will probably make this our go-to cottage for this area.
