Welcome to 153 High Hammock, a charming seaside retreat located in the heart of Seabrook Island. With its prime location, the beach and Seabrook Island club, ocean front pools, and golf are just a half mile away. The Lakehouse at Seabrook Island, Bohicket Marina, Freshfields Village, and Kiawah Island are all nearby. Downtown historic Charleston is a scenic 21-mile drive.
With elevated ceilings, abundant natural light, guests enter into a relaxing, spacious open floor plan. The living area features a large screen TV with streaming and cable, comfortable seating, and access to the deck. Guests love to relax, unwind, and reconnect under the ancient oaks amongst the peaceful, lush greenery. The Adirondack chairs are a great spot for morning coffee in the salt air. Off the living area, the guest bathroom features a vanity and walk-in shower providing a second bathroom and ample space for all.
Flowing seamlessly off the living room, the dining area offers an ideal place to eat or gather for game night, The well-stocked, updated kitchen has everything needed for entertaining and serving, even spices and a Keurig and standard coffee pot.
The master bedroom, decorated in a palette of serene beach colors, features a king bed with new mattress, dresser, TV, closet, and ample lighting. An ensuite bath with oversized vanity and tub/shower combo is well-stocked with towels and super tidy and clean. The guest bedroom offers two twin beds and a desk area with an oversized leather desk chair, creating an added work space for those who may need to check emails or connect with work remotely. The property features high-speed WIFI too.
The washer, dryer in the unit comes with a few laundry pods to start your stay, For the convenience of our guests, we also provide a few starter items: a roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom, a liquid dish soap, a kitchen sponge, some kitchen garbage bags, a few dishwasher pods, a few laundry pods, body soap, bath soap, and shampoo.
For added comfort and peace of mind, the villa undergoes a comprehensive, detailed cleaning process maintaining the highest of cleanliness standards for your stay. Floors are well scrubbed, surfaces are sanitized, fresh towels and linens are provided, and bedcoverings are laundered off-site prior to every stay. Essential cleaning items, such as all-purpose cleaners, a broom, and vacuum are provided for guests too.
This property is dog-friendly. A non-refundable pet fee applies and must be paid prior to your stay.
Your safety matters. This property features a Nest doorbell device with an exterior security camera facing the front outdoor entry. The camera does not look into any interior spaces. The camera actively records video when motion is detected by the device (including devices linked to the camera such as the alarm system's motion detector) or when the video doorbell button is pressed.

LINENS, TOWELS, & STARTER-KIT OF SUPPLIES: Included in this rental, for the convenience of our guests, are comfortable, white linens and a selection of bath and hand towels, as well as washcloths. A starter set of hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, a kitchen sponge, and kitchen towels are included. Guests staying for an extended stay may need to purchase or bring additional supplies. This property has some beach towels (we ask that you launder the beach towels you use), and there is towel service available at the Beach Club.
WASHER & DRYER: A washer and dryer are located in the unit for your convenience. Should you require wash n fold service, please let us know. Coffee Maker: Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker on site. (BYO ground coffee for carafe or use provided Keurig K-cups.)
AMENITY CARDS: Amenity cards offer exclusive access to the Seabrook Island beach club, dining club, tennis and award-winning golf. Without this digital card (a QR code system via an app), access is prohibited. Amenity Cards are INCLUDED with this rental (a $50 day savings). Guests also have complimentary access to the uncrowded and private beaches, equestrian center, and the outdoor Lakehouse pool. The fitness center is accessible for a daily fee of $16 per guest. Whether you are fishing, crabbing, biking, kayaking, or shopping, there is something for everyone. Please ensure that your completed amenity card form is submitted to the amenity office at least two weeks prior to your arrival to avoid a $10 late fee. Due to the volume of requests and the card preparation process, the office is now unable to accept information over the phone.
ISLAND ACCESS & PARKING: As the island is a gated, private island, each vehicle entering the island will require a gate pass for island access. Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has now started charging a gate pass fee per vehicle. This property has a limit of 2 vehicle passes. This $45 fee per vehicle applies to guests staying 1 night – 179 nights. Our rental agency is responsible for collecting the fee. Gate pass name information for each car is due one week prior to your arrival. For each pass, a driver's name must be provided. Drivers may be required to show a valid Driver's license when at the gate. Once a vehicle has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive that vehicle. LSV vehicles (low speed golf carts) are unfortunately prohibited at the villa complex.
CHECK IN: For our guest's convenience, we offer a prompt, self check-in process. Guests will directly check-in at the property with a code for the keypad on the door. We, however, are always a phone call or text away. We offer as much assistance with check-in process as needed. Our office is available to answer questions

IN THE EVENT OF A STORM: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Seabrook Island is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments and / or monies paid by the traveler. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler's group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.
POLICY ON SMOKING: No smoking please. Violators will be fined for in-home smoke damages.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Free cancellations up to 30 days before your stay.
