This house boasts a queen loft bedroom overlooking the living room. Downstairs off the living room, you'll find the twin bedroom on the left side. The twin bedroom has it's own access to the deck with a beautiful blue water view. Free WIFI with DVD player.
Hot tub is available for relaxing during your stay. Enjoy the ocean views and the unobstructed night sky. From the house, you can easily enjoy a walk in the woods, a short drive to the beach, or just enjoy the beautiful view from a quiet deck or the large corner window seats.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch. Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day. This house is beautifully located and has every amenity. The deck is gorgeous with a great hot tub. There were only 2 of us but the property is set up so that 4 people could easily enjoy privacy. Cozy home like feeling. I highly recommend this property

Rental manager had not left keys in the locked after hours box and did not respond on the emergency number they left until 3 hours after we left message. Thankfully, a very nice housekeeper who just happened to be at the office was able to get into office and get out keys. Otherwise we would have been waiting for hours after driving for seven hours to reach Sea Ranch.

My wife and I stayed a week at this home for a week in May. The home does indeed have a beautiful view of the Pacific. We spend hours just looking through the picture window. The house is well appointed and comfortable, just right for two people, or a family of four. We actually slept in the downstairs bedroom (we pushed the two twin beds together), because my wife had a knee problem that prevented her from going upstairs to the loft bedroom.
The weather in May at Sea Ranch was quite pleasant -- on the cool side, but that is one of its major attractions for those of us who live in hot inland California. What surprised us though was how warm the house got during the day when the sun was out. In particular the loft got rather uncomfortably warm. We quickly learned to draw the blinds on all of the windows and to open the side windows to let in the cooling breeze.
The neighborhood of the home is pleasant and quiet. A morning walk along the redwood-lined Schooner Drive was quite nice. Sea Ranch Beach Rentals provides a detailed map of the area, which shows hiking trails, including one off of Schooner Drive.
One thing that was a bit disappointing was the local restaurant scene. We have been coming to Gualala for thirty years, so we were familiar with the area. We were saddened to find out that Sea Ranch Lodge, with its wonderful restaurant, is closed indefinitely, supposedly for renovations. We went to St. Orres, which we have been to four or five times, but the service there was not as good as in the past. (I suspect they are suffering from same problems other restaurants in Sonoma County have reported about rehiring help after the pandemic.) Also disappointing was the lack of any place to get a real breakfast. The Ranch Cafe is only a couple of miles from the house, but it only has sandwiches and quiche. Fortunately, the Surf Market in Gualala is well-stocked (they even have their own branded chocolate sauce), so you can get food to fix your own dinners. (We didn't eat at any other restaurants this time, but from our past experiences Cove Azul and Vue Kitchen are ok but not fine dining.)
One more recommendation: check out the Gualala Art Center off of Old Stage Road right after crossing the river. It's free and has some great art work.

This was my second stay in the Sea Ranch and this property was exceptional. The house is very well laid out and the kitchen is large, very well suited for cooking. The view from the living room is amazing and protected from the wind as it's on a hill. It was very quiet around us and very accessible to Gualala and Stewart's Point towns nearby. This was a wonderful house for me and my boyfriend, and although there are two bedrooms I can see this being slightly small for a family with 2 children. The property management company was great, the house was clean, the check-in and check-out process was easy. I felt very safe during these times of COVID-19.

This is a very comfortable small house with a wonderful view. Very close to lovely walks in the redwoods and a short drive to the ocean with its cliffs and beaches. Very private - for example, no one can see you when you use the lovely hot tub on the side deck, or eat dinner on the back deck.
My only complaint is that the description of the amenities is inaccurate. There is a king bed (made up of two twins clamped together) and a queen bed. We brought sheets for a queen bed but then had to sleep upstairs, which was fine, but it would have been better to know the options. Also, information was that there were no hairdryers, clothes detergent but there were both, so we didn't need to bring them. They said there was salt and pepper but there wasn't enough salt for cooking, but we made do. As you can see, these are small problems and overall, we loved staying here. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and dishes, and very clean.

This property is clean and well-cared for and shows no signs of neglect as many rental properties do. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated. There is ample cookware and utensils in the kitchen. It is a cozy spot for two people. We were there during a few rainy days, but definitely will return when the weather turns warmer and drier. The spectacular ocean view is beautifully framed by the living room window. We have rented over a dozen properties in the years we've been visiting Sea Ranch. This one is tops.
