This exquisite oceanfront getaway features wide open living spaces, soaring ceilings, large windows, and plenty of amenities to ensure you have a truly memorable vacation at the coast. This lovely artisan home was built by the owners, a father and son. The tile work and bathroom sinks, as well as all of the art and pottery, was the work of the late owner’s wife. Prepare your favorite recipes in the well-equipped kitchen, and then dine together at the adjacent table. And in the evenings, or on lazy or rainy days, you'll find an inviting living area with a large, flatscreen TV. This home also includes complimentary internet access and a desk and chair in the upstairs bedroom in case you need to sneak off for remote work or schooling. Sea Ranch is a planned, oceanside community boasting uniquely designed homes, the historic Sea Ranch Chapel, and a 50-mile trail system with multiple beach access points. Take morning walks down to Stengel Beach located less than a mile north or Pebble Beach, just a little over a mile south. Bring your clubs and tee off among the cypress at the Sea Ranch Golf Links five miles up PCH. And explore the markets, restaurants, and galleries in downtown Gualala, just six miles north.

The most peaceful stay in all of CA

We woke up every day with stags grazing outside the porch and ended every night under hundreds of stars. The Vacasa/Vrbo team was responsive to all of our needs. I know we well be back as soon as possible

A lot to be desired

The location of the property was excellent but it is in need of some updates. They only have wall heaters (old) and a nice fireplace but was glad we brought wood, otherwwise it would have been very cold. You should let renters know to bring thier own firewood. Also we had a mini disaster in the kitchen. We arrived Friday night and on Saturday we saw a very large puddle of water on the kitchen floor. Upon opening the doors under the sink we found that someone had put the hose connection tube from the spray handle into a large cooking pot to capture water. The hose was clearly broken, and wirth very little effort someone just jimmy riged the hise into a pot. naturally it overflowed and created a mini flood in the kitchen. We were never told this was broken and clearly as someone put a large pot down to capture the water they knew it was broken. I have pictures and videos of the situation. It was not a pleasent experience and I would overall not go back to this property unless they do some upgrades, especially in the winter.

Terrible house

Where do I began. The view from the house was awesome but the house itself was dirty. When we arrived we noticed there were no toilet paper so we had to run to the nearest store 20 mins away to buy some. Some of the dishes were dirty, there were cobwebs everywhere. There’s a picture of a bbq in the backyard but there was no bbq. The grass was so overgrown. They only gave us 4 towels. We could have used some extra towels especially having kids. The upstairs sliding door was hard to open. All of the blinds and furniture is so outdated. Some of the blinds were hard to open. The house definitely needs to be updated top to bottom. We will definitely not be staying here again.

Great Location

Beautiful location in a home that needs upgrading. The good: waking up to an ocean view and being steps away from a gorgeous coastline. Nothing could compare. This is primarily why it gets 4 stars. The bad: Furniture is dated and fire alarm malfunctioned during our stay, where it kept going off repeatedly. It was located out of reach but I scaled the counters to pull it down to silence it, it continued to alarm multiple times thereafter. The front right stove does not function, and the coffee table was broken. The blinds are hard to move and need replaced. In addition, the sliding door upstairs is extremely hard to open and close. All in all worth the ocean view, but would probably find a better rental next trip.

great location, very dated

The pictures enhance the true nature of this property. Not one thing I could see has been updated since the early 80's - even the appliances are from this period. The blinds badly need to be replaced and you will get plenty of sun in the morning, regardless of what you do. There is NO cable. Only internet and the TV won't let you get to place where you can add other apps. The pillows and beds are uncomfortable. Location is not waterfront but it is a short distance. The property to the right of the picture of the water has the primary spot. The garbage area was disgusting.

Relaxing stay in well maintained property

Ideal location and fantastic view of the ocean. All amenities as advertised. Beautiful custom tile work in kitchen and bathrooms. The property manager Vacasa was very helpful and easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again. 5 stars!

Nice but has a few easily solvable problems

We enjoyed ourselves very much in the house because of the warm wood interior, the spaciousness of the living room, the lovely location, and the beautiful views. However, we found a number of items that would benefit from attention: 1:several light bulbs in the kitchen were burnt out 2: circulating fan in fireplace is extremely noisy and seems to be in need of repair 3: the fireplace screen needs repair 4: upstairs balcony door requires extreme force to open 5: blinds of one window upstairs fell down upon touching (screws fell out of the wall) 6: lowest slats in blinds in dining room area window are loose 7: stove top burners and oven need a thorough cleaning 8: various pots/pans and other dishes were dirty/greasy—no appropriate cleaning materials were supplied (we might have tried to clean them ourselves) 9: lazy susans in corner cabinets would not turn 10: inside garbage bins were dirty to the touch 11: outside BBQ was filthy; suggest you get a BBQ without holes in the bottom because hot coals fall through and scar the nice wooden deck 12:place mats in drawers were dripping wet 13: rubber ‘feet’ on toilet seats in both bathrooms are missing 14: shower arrangement in the lower bathroom would improve with a proper shower head and holder that allows you to shower standing up without flooding the entire bathroom. A shower curtain would help as well. We could have taken baths, but who wants to waste that much water in a drought?! Please don’t get us wrong; we write this because other renters might feel the same way. My husband and I have been renting homes at Sea Ranch for about 40 years and will continue to do so if the conditions meet our expectations

Beautiful views!

This is a great quiet property that is well maintained, very clean, and has beautiful views. We enjoyed our stay, even with nearby amenities being mostly closed due to the pandemic.
