Secluded and tucked away in the beautiful countryside of upstate New York, this cabin is everything you and your loved ones need to get away from it all. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the luscious green trails, mountain biking, and kayaking on the lake, while the tourists will love local eateries, boutique shops, arts, and family-friendly attractions nearby. Clear your head and be one with nature when you stay here at Lost Pond Cabin.

Inside you'll find a bright interior with lots of natural light, floor-to-ceiling woodwork, and a warm air of welcome throughout the place. Watch a movie or play a board game at the table. Prepare grand meals and on-the-go snacks in the full kitchen, equipped with all the cupboard room you'll ever need, and a washer/dryer to the side. There's a dedicated workspace upstairs with a desk and chair for those who need to stay connected. The beds are comfortable, and promote an excellent night's rest from the day's activities. Sit on the covered porch and admire the sunset shining through the trees, your favorite wine in hand to truly feel your cares melt away.

Please note the the smaller cabin on the property is not for guest use.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The house itself is cozy and the screened in wraparound porch is beautiful. I think the property has a lot more potential. Front side and backyard were overgrown and no fire pit. There was nothing to do in the yard but it is wide open and has potential. I noticed a few mice running around inside and it was very hott upstairs with no Ac

Cut short

From what I could tell, the cabin is exactly as described, comfortable and convenient and feels remote in spite of having neighbors not far away. It's also only 5 minutes drive to town where you can find stores, restaurants, bars and the beatiful lake shore. The area is spectacular with lots of gorgeous forest, lakes, ponds and hiking trails within walking distance or a few minutes drive. Unfortunately, there was a mix up and I had to switch cabins the day after I got there, but I'd definitely return. By the way, wifi works well which is good - I have Verizon and barely saw one bar all week!
