The holiday home in Menkhausen lies in the idyllic Wennetal Valley, one of the most scenic parts of the Sauerland. Hiking and cycling trails start right from the door, leading through forests, meadows, and hills. The famous Rothaarsteig Trail is nearby and offers spectacular panoramic views. In summer, lakes and outdoor pools invite you to swim; in winter, the Winterberg ski area is just 30 minutes away with slopes and cross-country trails. The charming old town of Schmallenberg with its half-timbered houses, cafés, and small shops is also worth a visit. The Sauerland combines nature, activity, and relaxation in a unique way
