"Pros: beautiful location, right in the old town and on the water. You can walk everywhere. The room is good sized and has everything you need. Cons: There is a restaurant next door, with a terrace right next to the windows (if your room is on the street side) , so you might get some noise at night. Although when we were here, the terrace was not open, but there were people talking on the street at 11pm and you could hear everything even with the windows closed. Tip: if you drive, don't use...

"Beim Check-In etwas Wartezeit mitbringen, da die Rezeption in der angrenzenden Raststätte ist und dort auch alle anderen Gäste bedient werden. Der Check-Out ist unkompliziert. Es gibt einen Briefkasten in dem man die Zimmerkarte einwirft. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig aber sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet"

"The staff/owners were wonderful. My two negative issues were the parking fees in the parking garage. Parked Friday afternoon left early Sunday morning and it cost $40 euros. The loud people coming out of the bars between 10 pm and 3:30 am kept us up and difficult to sleep. Loud, drunk people sitting around the hotel. Could not sleep. Plus side, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast!"

"The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, including directions to local attractions and restaurant recommendations. The room was much larger than the typical hotel room one finds in Europe. It's in a great location to explore Bamberg. The breakfast was high quality and sumptuous. And...........at a price less expensive than other properties we stayed at in Germany."

"Breakfast is the best"

"Great location. Historic beautiful building. When traveling to Europe in the summer, we always filter to find hotels with A/C which is how we picked this one. Little did we know that only SOME of the rooms have a/c, so we had to move out and into a smaller room. The new room had a couch at the foot of the bed that had a lip that protruded onto where my feet would lay (I’m a 5’ 10” woman). If I pushed the couch out, it was in the way of walking, if I left it, I couldn’t stretch out. I know,...

"Cet endroit hors des entiers battus est vraiment très pittoresque. C'est un très très bon arrêt routier! Le véritable point fort est le petit déjeuner exceptionnel, avec des produits bios locaux, tout simplement le meilleur petit déjeuner typique qu'il m'ait été donné de manger en allemagne!! Merci!!! Je n'ai hélas pas testé le repas du soir car j'étais trop fatigué avec la route, mais je suppose qu'il est tout aussi bon."

Es steht an einem sehr ruhigen und zentralen Standort für Reisende die die Altstadt, Brauhäuser, Museen, Klöster und Kirchen von Bamberg besichtigen möchten. Zu Fuss ist die Altstadt in ein paar Minuten der Regnitz entlang erreichbar. "
