Incredible beach location while passing through on way to Acadia. Would love to stay here again at Old Orchard beach!

Great beach location

We had a fantastic stay in this beach house. We within a very short distance of many great amenities, including a beach side carnival. We were able to explore Portland and the nearby beaches. The house has a lovely patio where we played games and even made s'mores in the backyard.

Our Family Vacation

We had such a wonderful week. The walk to the beach was only 3-4 minutes and the beach was amazing! The kids loved the whole experience. We would absolutely come back!

Clean cottage in a great location

My family enjoyed our stay here and loved being such a short walk from the beach and only 5 minutes from the Old Orchard pier area. The house is very clean and has everything you need, however if you are traveling with a toddler I recommend bringing a safety gate for the stairs.

Cozy beach cottage

The house was amazing and we had such a great time! It was plenty roomy for 7 adults and a really nice place. It was a quick stroll to the beach, basically right across the street. A huge backyard with a nice fire pit and an outdoor shower to wash your feet off. The management company was kind and checked up on us via text to ensure we knew how to reach them if needed. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

Clean and cozy

This cottage was very clean and worked great for our family. The pictures and virtual tour were spot-on, as the cottage looked just as it did online. Unlike other places we've rented in the past that have left us feeling dirty or that the owner hadn't actually cleaned the place, this cottage left us feeling clean and like we were staying at a place a bit more upscale than the typical rental. The kitchen is more than adequate for a single family, the backyard is a decent size (brand new outdoor furniture arrived during our stay), and being able to walk across the street to the beach is priceless. The only things that could be improved (from our perspective) would be having a walk-in shower (instead of the claw tub) so younger kids can get in/out of the shower easier, having 4 chairs at the kitchen table (there were only 2), and adding some additional chairs to the back porch so everyone can enjoy the space there (again, only 2 chairs). Overall though, it was a very nice property and we'd highly recommend it!

Overall we had a great trip! We stayed for 3 nights with myself, my husband & our two kids (5&2). Communication with the rental company was great and they were always quick to answer questions. I do not know if this is standard for rentals these days, but having to pay to upgrade to early check in was off putting. The check in time is later than most at 4pm and you are asked to pay a fee based on wanting to check in 1 or 2 hours earlier.The house was clean with many amenities including a yard & fire pit. I will say we were suprised to see the proximity of the neighbors yard and that the back yard was not fully fenced in, allowing full access to the neighbors lawn. In my opinion you cannot tell this is the case from the photos. A consideration for those with small children - the house is also on a much busier road than I had anticipated. With the yard not being closed in and the house sitting so close to the busy road, this did make us uneasy with young kids who can open doors with traditional locks. I would advise bringing a travel safety lock for doors as well as a baby gate for the stairs. You cannot beat the proximity to the beach and easy access to Portland & OOB. The bedding was comfortable & clean with ample towels provided. The kitchen was well stocked. The only bathroom is on the first floor which is tricky at night with young kids. The home was decorated nicely with a nautical charm. Our kids had a blast & we made great memories!
