"The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend."

"The property was beautiful, neat clean, and well decorated. There are plenty of towels, linens, and pillows. "Not only was the place absolutely gorgeous with the peacefulness of the water, it was just as listed. The place was vey spacious and clean, had everything we needed, internet was great, and the record player was a fun touch to our evening. The host was wonderful! Communication was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. Easy check in process and check out! Would definitely stay here again. "

"Beautiful property with lots of opportunities to explore and enjoy nature. Some of the more adventerous one's did a great hike to the trails and went to several of the waterfalls, others tried the fishing and the older folks played in the arcade and built puzzles. The kitchen was great. The wi-fi was not the best for us but we were happy to see the teens without phones in their hands all the time so it was good. We all drove separate vehicles so our transport was fine. There are a lot of steps...
