Experience Scaly Mountain like a local in this quaint one bedroom , fully upgraded cabin. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this amazing property offers everything you need for a memorable stay.  Relax in the comfort and enjoy the cool mountain breeze. Whether you're exploring the nearby hiking trails or simply unwinding in the hammock on your covered porch, this cabin is the perfect retreat. Located just  outside of Highlands, NC on Scaly Mountain. Bordering Sky Valley and minutes from
Dillard & Clayton , Ga.
This little gem is quietly nestled in a quaint tiny home community with 8 other park model cabins. The community sits on 13 acres ,  at about 3300' of elevation, and feels like it's miles from civilization. A quick 15 minute drive to HIghlands and about 10 minutes to Dillard , Ga. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen. Electric stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave.  There is a full size spacious bathroom with a walk in shower and washer & dryer.  Enjoy the hammock on the front covered porch , or soak in the hot tub on the covered back porch over looking a scenic pasture while the sun rises over the adjacent ridge.  Fast wifi is available at no charge with the new installation of a Starlink satellite.
If you are looking for shopping, you won't have far to go. Highlands, NC has something for everyone. Fine dining & so much more. A couple miles up the road you can jump on a roller coaster at Highlands Outpost! Or just a half mile up the road you can swing through the forest at Highlands Aerial Park. If live music sounds fun, visit The Vineyard @ High Holly across the pasture and enjoy some wine. This area is home to some of the best outdoor FREE activities. Waterfalls GALORE! Whether you are looking to have an action packed getaway, or some quiet downtime, this cabin can offer you just that! We look froward to having you! For safety , front entrance is covered by a security camera.

Relaxing

We came for a long weekend for our honeymoon. Place is very cute and clean. We had everything we needed. Beautiful location and very quiet. Was able to relax and enjoy the mountains. Good restating Dillard and Clayton. Spent a little time shopping at indoor flea market and local antique stores. Very fast response to any questions and owner was very nice. Would definitely go again.

Amazing !

My spouse and I just wanted a relaxing weeekend getaway and that’s just what we got! This place was very clean, location was great, communication when lost with host was easy & overall stay was fun! Will be booking again soon !

Clayton is nice.

Overall, our stay was decent. Lawn care started at 730 Friday morning and lasted until 330, the leaf blower going then entire time. Not relaxing. Lacked a few essentials; no hand soap in the kitchen, thin towels, hot tub towel had a large stain, no bed side lamps, or lamps at all (overhead lighting is bright) porch lights flickers is on a dusk/dawn timer and it flickers making watching TV distracting as it is by the living room window. Long black hair everywhere…in the fridge, the bathroom sink, the bathroom shower mat was covered. We don’t have black hair. Gross. Refrigerator has black mold in the seals, as well as not being overall very clean. Bed linens were very thin and felt well used.

Just WOW. This home is beautiful. Very clean and welcoming. Would highly recommend. We cannot wait to book here again. It was definitely one of the best VRBO places we have ever booked.

Amazing peaceful cabin

The cabin was as described and exactly perfect for our anniversary trip. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Hosts are amazing. Will definitely stay again. Close to Highlands and other activities but yet peaceful and relaxing. Loved it and are extremely pleased with everything.
