The space and lay out was very functional. Bathrooms attached to each bedroom was an added bonus. Having a kitchen and dining table made for ease with meals and playing games in the evening. The parking was initially a bit tricky to figure out, but once we had mastered where it was, and using the key card, it was ok.

Best Vacation for Moms Birthday

The location is perfect for walking to Canal Street, Mercer house, or any other historic location. The house is perfect for 2 couples or girls/guys weekend. We cooked breakfast each morning and either lunch or dinner allowing only one meal out. Great option for those not wanting to eat out every meal. Highly recommend the hop on hop off trolley. Made the ride to Forsyth Park enjoyable and entertaining.

Spur of the moment stay in Savannah

We loved our spontaneous vacation to Savannah! The house was exactly as described; clean, updated kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities as well as showers. The house overall is very clean and up to date. Despite being a historic house, the house is equipped with central AC and ceiling fans in the bedrooms (important things when it’s 95 degrees outside). The beds were comfy and both rooms had closets with plenty of hangers, some shelving for clothes, and a luggage rack. Both rooms are located up a steep staircase (typical of older homes. It was no issue for us, but worth noting if you have mobility issues) and one full bath is located within one of the bedrooms. The other full bath is on the main floor off the kitchen. We did not utilize the small porch out back as it was boiling out, but it was quaint and cute with solar string lights. Check in and access to the house was easy. Parking is street only and metered, but was only $1/hr so I parked, paid for the day and left my car right in front of the house. Download the app for parking, it will make your life easier. Here’s the best part about this house; it is one street north of Broughton so we walked everywhere. Literally, put on those sneakers and walk to all shopping, dining, river walk, etc. We drove to Forsyth Park for an afternoon as well as Tybee and both were an easy drive and worth it. Would 100% recommend this rental again - we had a blast! And the firework show on the river was incredible!

Charming and comfortable

After many trips to Savannah, this was our first time staying in a house in the historic district. The house was quiet, charming and comfortable, and the location was close to some of our favorite places: Broughton Street, Pirate House, etc. Loved hearing the horns from the cargo ships. We had a wonderful stay!

Great Friends Get Together

The property is quaint and historic yet has all the moderen amenities. We loved the location as we found we could walk almost everywhere and surrounding homes and nearby squares are lovely. We are four friends from college over 50 years ago but we would all definitely book this VRBO again.

We were all seniors over 70. It was not conducive to our needs the second bath was as downstairs and the stairs were really had to navigate. We got a parking ticket the last night for street sweeps which Ihave never head of. Not very happy
