    Our housekeeping Team is working hard to provide excellent service you and your family. We are following all CDC Guidelines for cleaning, and doing regular deep cleans for every one of our properties. The Carriage house was as listed and pictures were accurate as well. The only minor issue was with my own email getting the information. It was fun to stay in a historic place.

The cottage was an excellent stay! Was very clean coming into and was just a delight to stay in. Very cozy and like a home away from home for us. The owners left amenities and even left us wood to make a fire in the night. Was also got a chance to meet Monique and she was very sweet to talk with. We will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I were down over the weekend for a wedding. It turns out that we were a short walking distance to the church. The carriage house was perfect for the two of us. It was clean, nicely equipped and furnished with everything we needed, including coffee to enjoy the early mornings in the courtyard. There are several neighborhood places to grab coffee or lunch- Urban Deli and Maribelle. If you like to walk, you won’t be disappointed moving through the beautiful neighborhoods to Forsyth Park or to the hustle and bustle of Bay and River Streets.

Great Place

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights. It was a perfect location for us. We were able to walk to all of the sights and activities we wanted to do. The carriage house was clean and well stocked for our stay.

Perfect Location

The Carriage House was absolutely lovely. So close to great restaurants and all the historic squares! We walked everywhere! Savannah is a pet-friendly town, so many locations had water out for pets and outside seating allowed for fur-babies to join! As an extra bonus, there is a great Dog Exercise Park directly across the street from the Carriage House. Could not have asked for a better weekend!

Romantic Cottage for two.

We were greeted with open arms by our host and felt right at home. The cottage has all of Savannah’s old charm. Our stay was in the summer, so the street was quiet. The windows do not have shades, but you can open the windows and close the outside shutters so not to let the morning sun in. It was nice to be able to sleep in and just take our time getting ready for the day. We will definitely be back.

Cozy and convenient

Property was small and charming and, in good walking distance to attractions in town. Our only concern was that of comfort. Bed was not very comfortable nor was the furniture downstairs. Fortunately we were not in the house much.

We just got back from being at this home for several days. It was beautiful. Everything was as described. Extremely clean. :) like being in a fairy tale. One thing they do not tell you and it’s nothing they can control.. the walls are PAPER thin, so you hear it all. I live in a concrete home so maybe I’m sensitive. The neighbors are very nice and quiet. But there is road noise, noise from the park (kids literally screaming) there are birds that live on the patio that constantly chirp. I suggested they get a few noise cancelling fans for unit. We had a very rainy stay so we were there for a lot of the time. I suggested a tv for the bedroom as well because we loved spending time up there. They also need to update the current tv. Other than that it was a wonderful stay!

Reviewer Comments: My goal in booking this place was to stay in a historic building and be within walking distance of most things and it came through on both goals. It has such charm and character. Impeccably clean and the garden is also wonderfully maintained. We were able to park our car right out front and walk everywhere we wanted to go. Since we had a kitchen we grabbed some breakfast items so we wouldn’t have to walk to find breakfast each morning.

Quaint

Very pretty, quaint little house! We liked the style and all the wood. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was really cute. The house is pretty little though. There are no blinds/curtains on the windows/patio door downstairs so we didn’t like being down there at night. Plus the house has an alleyway on one side of it. The only valid downside to this property is the sound of traffic and trying to find parking on the street, in front of the house. Luckily we went in Jan (off season) so it wasn’t too bad!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The first step into the Carriage House will blow you away. The reality surpasses the pictures we had seen. The wonderful feeling of spending four days here is so comforting and relaxing.Walking in town and seeing the architecture is great even at 48 degrees. The Christmas Tradition at the Theater was also spectacular.A trip to Tyree Island was well worth it. Then walking the river front was exciting. it was abnormally cold but the return each evening back to the Carriage House was so comforting and cozy. It sounds unreal but this was a fantastic trip and lovely accommodations. Rick and KyraP.S. Thank you Monique for this unbelievable place.
