Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the entire condo, except for the double closet doors in the living rom. That closet will remain locked for owner storage.
The Neighborhood:
The condo is located in the heart of the Historic District, just one street South of City Market. You will be overlooking Broughton Street with all the best high end shopping, restaurants and bars. There is an active nightlife on Friday and Saturdays, so please be prepared that you may hear a bit of street noise. You will be about a 2 block walk to River Street and the new Plant Riverside District.
Getting Around:
Parking is not included. There is paid street parking or you can use a parking garage close by.
For the parking I recommend downloading the ParkSavannah app prior to arrival, you can preload your payment info and just enter a spot number to the app and you can add time from your phone. The street parking can add up, so I highly recommend the Robinson Parking garage (132 Montgomery st). It’s just a two block walk and they have flat rate parking. All of their rates are on their website. Unless you want to leave the historic downtown area, you probably won’t need to use the car much since you are walking distance to most everything!
Other Things to Note:
Street Parking is available downtown through the Park Savannah app. You can download the app on android and apple devices and add parking from your mobile device, it will alert you when time is up and you can add time to your meter without walking back to your car.
The City of Savannah also has visitor parking passes available. Details on the city visitor website. Public bus transit is also available and there are great local Trolley Tours that are also a great way to get a tour of the city!
We also highly suggest parking in the Robinson Parking Garage located two blocks away, an easy walking distance. You can access daily and weekend rates on their website. The address is 132 Montgomery Street, Savannah GA 31401.
***Please note that there may be more city noises that you may not be accustomed to. Fridays and Saturdays can get noisy at night due to our close proximity to Savannah's lively night life. We do provide a sound machine to help drown out noises you may not be used to stying in a city.
