Beautiful, modern cabin with lots of room for our large family. The kids loved the game room and the adults enjoyed the cozy fireplace and stunning views. The location was perfect for trips to Helen and all the many winter activites in the area!

Nice new house/cabin!

Cabin/House was great! Booked for our anniversary and had our family with us! Large enough to entertain. Saved to favorites so we could book same place when we return to Helen! Views were amazing as well!

Light and bright

We loved the open living /kitchen and deck area!. The morning sunrise and sunsets are amazing with the mountains in the background. This house has games for kids. Downtown Helen was 10 minutes.

wonderful mountain home. MODERN

We loved the home. it was new and very modern. I am not a fan of the real rustic places. We absolutely loved the home. My teenage daughters did not even have anything to complain about. Great location. Close to Helen, scenic highway, waterfalls, and white water rafting. Would defiantly stay again. We were extremely happy with the property.

Weekend Family Getaway

We had a great family weekend getaway. The home is absolutely beautiful and convenient to shopping, etc. If you’re like our family and love a more firm pillow, take your own. The down pillows are wonderful, but we needed two to sleep on. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with cookware and dishes. Overall a great experience!

Here are the pros and cons. Pros: The cabin was nice and clean. Location was not hard to find. Pet friendly. Cons: Paid for 5 days of hot tub and hot tub was broken for almost 2 days. Did not receive any reimbursement. Cabin did not have much kitchen utensils. One of the management staff that we spoke to was rude.

Gilded Owl

We recently stayed at The Gilded Owl and overall enjoyed our visit. The property has a beautiful view, plenty of space for our family, a wonderful wrap-around porch, and a relaxing hot tub. The setting was peaceful and the home itself was very comfortable. However, there were several small details that were frustrating, especially considering the price of the rental. Only four garbage bags, three dishwasher pods, and three laundry pods were provided for the entire stay. Even the dish soap was only a small sample-sized bottle. For the amount we paid, we did not expect to have to purchase basic household supplies. If guests are expected to bring additional garbage bags, cleaning supplies, and detergents, that should be clearly communicated before arrival. The listing also advertised the home as kid-proof with outlet covers installed, but there were no outlet covers present. This was not a major issue for us, but amenities should accurately reflect what is actually provided. Additionally, there was no house manual, welcome book, or set of property guidelines available. Having information about the home, local recommendations, checkout procedures, and house rules would have been helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the property has many great features, but better attention to these details and clearer communication would significantly improve the guest experience.
