About Laurel Ridge
Come and relax in the mountains at Laurel Ridge. This well-maintained cabin is the perfect size for three couples or a family of up to six to have a wonderful mountain experience. With over 3,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, you’re sure to find a spot to suit your needs. Watch wildlife from the screened in deck, play pool or cards downstairs in the game room, soak in the hot tub, or take in the views of the mountains.
The space
This cabin offers two master suites with private baths as well as another large bedroom downstairs. All three bedrooms have access to a deck which can be closed off both on the upper and lower levels so that children and dogs can’t wander off.
In the winter months there are two gas fireplaces inside or a hot tub and propane fire pit outside to keep you warm. The basement has a pool table and a card table as well as a selection of card and board games for you to enjoy. There is also a small collection of DVDs.
If you’re looking for more outdoor adventure, the cabin is located approximately 5 minutes from Unicoi State Park, 10 minutes from the alpine village of Helen, and 25 minutes from Lake Burton. Local attractions also include: hiking, fishing, boating, tubing, horseback riding, zip lining, ropes courses, vineyards, and much more!
Laurel Ridge is a pet-friendly cabin (with a fenced in side yard) and a one-time pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). Maximum of 2 dogs.

Main Floor: Living Room and Kitchen. King bedroom with private bath on the right; Queen bedroom with private bath to the left. Screened in deck and grill outdoors.
Downstairs: Game Room, King bedroom with walk-in shower.

This house was comfortable and welcoming. It felt like we were staying in a home, not a rental house. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. Full-size bottles of soap and shampoo/conditioner were in each bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pans and utensils we needed. The outdoor furniture was plentiful and comfortable. The view from the back decks was beautiful. I wish we could see it in the fall. The downstairs bedroom needs to be reserved for the deep sleepers in the group because any movement of chairs upstairs is heard clearly downstairs. We enjoyed the pool table, card games, and hot tub. Our first morning the plastic trash can had the lid removed and was laying on its side along with the bench being moved on the front porch. Day two we saw a bear while driving up the gravel road. The owner is quick to answer any questions. I would not change a thing about this home. Thank you for a great stay.

The property was located just a few miles outside of Helen! We appreciated the proximity to town with the peace and quiet of the mountains! We loved the basement game room, a large and fully equipped kitchen and the three bedroom suites. The screen porch, fire pit and hot tub were amazing bonuses! We would definitely vacation here again!

We had an amazing stay from start to finish. I was really surprised at how I could just walk in and have everything I needed as well as things I didn’t know I needed. The best part of the home was how dog friendly it was. My dogs had the best time rolling the tennis ball down the hill in the fenced in back yard. The humans enjoyed grilling out, hanging out on the screened in porch overlooking mountains, and the hot tub, of course. I would absolutely stay here again when we are ready for our next trip to North Georgia.

Great cabin, awesome location

Home was in a great secluded spot in the Helen area. Close enough to take day outings to hike several waterfalls, state parks and little towns. Best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had in a rental. The hot tub was a hit for our toddler, and the guys enjoyed evening rounds of pool. The full toiletries in the bathroom were nice surprises, and there was more than enough storage and space to put things away for the week. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Weekend Getaway - Helen, GA

TLDR: Very nice cabin, featuring wraparound porches to take advantage of the view. We came up for a weekend of activities around Helen, but it rained the whole time we were there. Fortunately, the cabin was nice since we didn't get to get out as much as we would have hoped.

Wonderful Family/Friends Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this nice and secluded cabin. We really enjoyed the downstairs game room area. The game room area was very large, easily able to accommodate 3 or 4 couples. The bedrooms were all spacious and clean. We cooked breakfast each morning, all necessary pots / utensils were available. We did not get to enjoy the hot tub, but it looked nice.

Soulmate Getaway

My girlfriend and I chose this location and property for a weekend getaway. Roberts property is immaculate inside and out, with all the needed amenities available on site. The location, set on the mountain side, was perfect and secluded enough for a couple like us to unplug from the world and enjoy each other’s company. Thank you for opening up your home to us and we will definitely be back again!

Nice place

Nice secluded place if that’s what you’re looking for. The downstairs game room is awesome. It could have better light over the “puzzle” table, other than that it’s great. Nice sunrise view from the cabin if you’re an early riser. The king bed on the main floor could be a little better but overall we had a good visit.
