Cherokee Ridge 5 - Charming Pet Friendly Cottage in the Woods

  • The colors are calming and the decor soft and cozy. In this open floor plan, you can enjoy the gas fireplace from the couch or the king size bed. A trundle was recently added giving sleeping space for two more guests. The trundle is two twin beds. There is a large flat screen television mounted on the wall that can also be seen from both places. The kitchen is equipped with a full size oven with range, a mid-size refrigerator and a dishwasher. There is also a microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. The bathroom has a full size tub and shower, and you even have a washer and dryer!

    Enjoy the evening relaxing in the hot tub on the back porch. Cherokee Ridge 5 is pet-friendly, because we consider them family, too! There is even a doggy gate on the porch so you can truly relax knowing your pet is nearby. A one-time per pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). A gas grill is on the porch for those cook-outs you have been planning.

    This is a group vacation properties with 3 others along the same road, but you have all the privacy you expect. Perfectly located, you are only 2 miles from Unicoi State Park were there's swimming, hiking and fishing; only 5 miles from downtown Helen. With WiFi available, you can surf the web for all of the fun and exciting things to do in the Northeast Georgia Mountains!

    Please note that this is an open floor plan or studio cottage. The television can be seen from both the sofa and the king bed. This cottage does not have a private bedroom.

    This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $50 + tax for each additional.

    • Minimum Age Requirement: Cherokee Ridge 5 is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
    • Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
    • Access: The road is dirt and gravel up to the property. Low profile vehicles not recommended.
    • Pets: Cherokee Ridge 5 is pet-friendly.
    • Location: 5 miles to downtown Helen.

The cabin was so welcoming. We were greeted nu outside Christmas lights. When we opened the door ot was a Christmas womderland. Tastefully decorated and such a warm cozy feeling. The fireplace was mice since it was quite chilly on day. Our cabin was private amd and pet friendly which was great. The only reason i knocked off a star is we had difficulty with the hot tub. It was such a wonderful time. Thanks for making our Thanksgiving special.

Peaceful cabin

Cabin was very clean and well kept! The hot tub was also fantastic after a day of hiking and exploring. Having a cup of coffee on the pirch was devine. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely Visit

Had a great time checking out Helen for the first time. The cabin was nice and close to downtown and was great coming back to relax at during the night. Would highly recommend this cabin for anyone. The pet friendly feature was also greatly appreciated!

Solace Amidst the Mountains

Our stay at this cabin was EXACTLY what we needed and wanted! From the quaint environment surrounding the cabin, to the privacy of neighboring cabins at least 50 feet away, the furnishings, comfort and day-to-day needs were well met. The hot tub was a much-needed and relaxing feature within the serene backdrop of fall leaves. We highly recommend this cabin :)
