Beautiful Colonial Home in Saunderstown, RI

This single family colonial style home is centrally located in Saunderstown, RI, just 20 minutes from Newport, 30 minutes from Providence, 10 minutes from University of Rhode Island, and 10 minutes to the closest beach in Narragansett! The interior of the home was remodeled in 2022. It has new flooring, fixtures, vanities, showers, central AC and heat, and more! The exterior was repainted & back deck replaced with Trex in the fall of 2025. The house is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. We do not allow events to be hosted at the house. The house is not handicap accessible.

The main floor of the house contains 2 living areas, the kitchen, dining room, powder room, and primary suite with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. The upstairs has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There are 2 king beds, 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. Travel crib & toddler cot are available for use in the house.

The hot tub is outside in the back right by the fire pit. There is a round table with 4 chairs, a rectangular table with 6 chairs, and several Adirondack chairs on the back deck and by the fire pit.

There is a beach cart, 4 beach chairs, an umbrella, body board, and toys/shovels in the garage.

We provide basic amenities such as linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and paper goods. The kitchen is fully equipped with plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans. There are also cooking items such as spices, salt and pepper, etc. We also provide cleaning items and laundry detergent.

This is a family-friendly home in a quiet neighborhood. There is no entertaining or parties of any sort allowed at the house.

We are more than happy to accommodate long-term rentals & offer significant discounts for longer stays.

Beautiful, comfortable house

The layout is ideal for family togetherness (family room open to kitchen) and for family personal space (separate living room). Two ensuite bedrooms have king-size beds... one of them also has a lounge area with two chairs. It's located on ground floor and is ideal for any older couple in your group.The furniture, rugs and other appointments are beautifully chosen. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host thought of everything, including labelling all of the light switches.

Wonderful multi-generation accommodations

This house was perfect for our three-generation family weekend! It was in pristine condition on a lovely piece of property in a large, quiet residential area. There was plenty of room, and the bedroom configuration was perfect, for grandparents, two young families with toddlers and infants, and a single adult who likes quiet as well as board game time. This house provided ample space for all our different needs, and we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home

Home is spacious and well equipped. Very comfortable beds and seating. If the weather had been warmer we would have loved to spend time outdoors enjoying the landscaping and property. Everything is well maintained.

Lovely comfortable house in beautiful Rhode Island

Michi's House is so comfortable, with extra features like deluxe throws, delicious couches, hot tub, jacuzzi, and fire pit! The kitchen was fully stocked, and each room is decorated uniquely. Her house is 12 to 20 minutes from so many different destinations - the North Kingstown Beach, Narragansett Beach, Jamestown and Newport, the Block Island ferry, and more. (Also, several ice cream shops!) We had a great stay and look forward to returning.

Naval OCS graduation stay.

Great location for our entire family to go to Newport and attend Naval OCS graduation at the Naval Base. We had plenty of room for the extended family of 11. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and back yard. Kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to cook in for many meals. We would highly recommend this property. Easy access to the highway ...about 30 minutes from everything!

It was a nice house even though at the last minute they told us we couldn't wear shoes in the house.

This is a really lovely house. The parking is excellent. Other than "no shoes in the house" the only other weak point is the hot water takes WAY too long to heat up.

Lovely property in a peacefull area.

Very comfortable property and gracious hosts. Would rent again if the opportunity came up. Good value with the weekly rental rate. Left a jacket in the unit and the hosts were awesome to offer to ship it to me. Traveled the world with that jacket and was very happy at the prospect of getting it back.

RI Family Wedding

House was great. Just shat we needed. Close to Newport ,Jamestown, Narragansett and wivkford. Wedding was in West Warwick. We stayed four nights and attended bachelor party golf outing and bachelorette Tea Party. House had plenty of space as a modern Colonial. Beds all had high quality Mattresses better than most rentals. Very well kept

Great Family House

This house is centrally located…an easy 20 minutes to Newport and even closer to Narrgansett Beach. The kitchen had everything we needed. Five nice bedrooms which was perfect for our extended family getaway and wedding in Newport.

Lovely and well-stocked home

The house is beautiful and comes with everything you need. The kitchen has every appliance you could want as well as quality cookware and knives, basic cooking ingredients, and coffee and tea. Bathrooms are stocked as well. Be prepared that the bedrooms are bright, but there is a basket of sleeping masks are provided in the master closet. The home is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and has a great back patio space for relaxing. Owners were responsive to the two minor issues we had - neither their fault. Grocery/pharmacy shopping is about 15 minutes away, and most other shopping and historic sites are 30 minutes to an hour. There are numerous quaint towns to enjoy. This was our first trip to Rhode Island, and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

lovely home in quiet neighborhood

We are a group of 5 knitters from across the US who gather yearly to catch up with one another and check out local yarn shops. This house worked well for us—each person had her own bedroom, there was plenty of space for sitting and knitting, and we visited some excellent area restaurants. We do wish there was better lighting in either of the 2 living /family rooms—more and brighter lamps would have been a help. We are an obedient lot and followed the house rules to remove shoes on entering the house. We understand the need for such a rule but suggest, given the slipperiness of the bare wood stairs, that some sort of non-slip surface be added to the stairs. One of our group took a fall down the stairs when her socked-feet slipped on a stair.

Thanksgiving Family Reunion

This home was absolutely perfect in all ways. My husband and I have traveled across the country using vacation rentals. This lovely home was by far the best. We planned a family reunion for thanksgiving. We were able to prepare and enjoy many meals because the house was so well designed and everything we needed was there. We will definitely book again.

Wedding in Newport stay

This home is beautifully appointed for all your needs. I could have prepared a Thanksgiving dinner for our crew in the kitchen. There were multiple plugs for charging our electronics, both USB and regular plugs. We had comfy beds and plenty of linens. We especially loved the fire pit in the evening. I would love to be able to stay here again.

Loved this house; location was prime. We were looking for a comfy space for cooking, hanging out, and launching to Newport - it fit the bill and was incredibly clean! Well stocked kitchen and lots of space.
