Puffin Cottage Holidays is delighted to welcome you to Ty Gwyn.


We’d like to let you know that some daytime construction work is currently taking place behind the property. Contractors are working to keep any disruption to a minimum, and we’re confident you’ll still enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay. To reflect this, we’ve reduced the booking price during this period.


Ty Gwyn is a beautifully presented semi-detached cottage tucked away in a peaceful location, just a 10-minute downhill stroll to the charming village of Saundersfoot with its bustling harbour and award-winning beach. The historic town of Tenby is only a five-minute drive away, and within 25 minutes you can reach some of Pembrokeshire’s most stunning beaches and top family attractions.


With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, Ty Gwyn offers generous space for families and friends to unwind together. The enclosed garden features a "Lazy Spa" hot tub with built-in surround — the perfect spot to relax after a day of adventure.


The cottage enters into the hallway with doors to the ground floor accommodation and stairs up to the bedrooms.

Comfortable sofa seating. TV with Freeview and Netflix. Sliding doors open the room out into the dining room and a large open doorway leads to the kitchen.


Dining Room


Dining seating for up to 7 people. Double doors open out onto the furnished garden and patio area with “Lazy Spa” hot tub.


Kitchen


Complete with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and electric oven and hob. Everything you could need for your self-catering holiday. A large window opens out and overlooks the dining room.

A £100 damage deposit is required when staying at this property.

Whether pets are accepted (and the number of pets accepted) is displayed within the property description. No other pets are permitted in the property, this includes external areas of the property.

Terms and Conditions of Hire.

Bookings of all holiday accommodation whether made by telephone, e-mail, in person, in writing or over the internet are accepted by Puffin Cottage Holidays acting as the agent on behalf of the Owner. The contract to occupy the property is between you and the owner.

By making any booking with us, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to comply with and be bound by them.

These booking terms and conditions include a number of defined terms as follows:

"Booking" means the legally binding reservation for use of the property, with a specified start and end date.
"Contract of Hire" The legally binding contract between the Hirer and the Owner
"Deposit" means a deposit of 20% of the total holiday accommodation cost (which includes any "extras" selected at the time of booking).
"Balance" means the balance of the Total Charges payable by you after payment of the Deposit as set out in paragraph 4.
"Website" means the booking website.
"Lead Hirer" means the person who has booked the accommodation.
"Guest" means you and each person staying in the property with you.
"Owner" means the owner of the Property you book which is the subject of the Contract of Hire. We do not own the properties on our website.
"Agent" means Puffin Cottage Holidays.
"Property" and "Properties" means the holiday property you book or enquire about through us.
"You" means the lead person making a booking through us.
When you make a booking through us you are confirming that you and every Hirer understands, agrees and accepts these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as any breach may result in the Owner (or their representative) refusing to allow you and your guests to enter and stay at the property or requiring you and your guests to leave the property before the end of the holiday period without any compensation or refund.

1. Contract and Booking
We act as agents for the Owner. When you make a Booking through us the holiday let contract in respect of the Property is always between you and the Owner. As Agents we accept no responsibility for an injury or damage caused as a result of the Contract.

Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 21 years of age.

The Lead Hirer must be one of the Guests staying at the property and shall not part with possession of the property or share it, except with other Guests named on the booking form.

The Properties are not intended to be reserved for the purposes of parties and group bookings, including for stag, hen dos and birthdays, may not be allowed unless explicitly agreed with the Owner. In these circumstances the Owner may impose special requirements (including the possible requirement for, but not limited to, an extra damage deposit payment)

No Bookings are confirmed until the Deposit (or Balance and Deposit if the holiday is less than 8 weeks away) is received and written confirmation of its receipt has been sent.

Once a booking is confirmed it cannot be changed by you, unless agreed by the Owner, or by us on the Owner's behalf. If we or the Owner agree to make requested changes to your booking (for example, amending the date or Hirer) you will be required to pay £25 amendment fee per change.

2. Booking Fees
A booking fee of £24.00 is payable when making a booking. This is included in the displayed price of the holiday.

3. Deposits and Balance Payments
Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. For a booking made more than 8 weeks before your holiday a deposit of 20% of the total due will be paid when booking to secure the booking. The balance will be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. If you make a booking within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking to secure the booking. In the event that the balance payment is not received by the required date, Puffin Cottage Holidays reserves the right (on behalf of the Owner) to cancel the booking and will be under no obligation to refund any deposits previously paid.

The booking fee and Deposit are non-refundable unless we are unable to accept the booking on behalf of the Owner, or the Property is unavailable at the time of the holiday

4. Damage Deposits
Some properties may require damage deposits for all bookings made. If this is required, it will be recorded in the Property Description. Any damage deposit will be due along with the final balance payment, 8 weeks prior to your holiday, or, where the booking is made within 8 weeks of your holiday, the damage deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. The damage deposit may be held by Puffin Cottage Holidays on behalf of the Owner. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to liaise between the Owner and the lead Hirer, any disputed claims must be settled between the Owner and the lead Hirer and Puffin Cottage Holidays are not liable for any disputed claims.

5. Availability
The Contract of Hire is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities as published will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events outside the Owners control the lead Hirer will be notified as soon as possible. The lead Hirer shall be offered alternative dates or, at the Owners discretion, a refund but will have no further claims against the Owner or Puffin Cottage Holidays. Puffin Cottage Holidays will not be responsible to pay any compensation or expenses as a consequence of a Property not being available in these cases. The booking fee will be non-refundable in these circumstances as we will have carried out our services for this to you at the point of booking.

6. Guest Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation from the lead Hirer, the deposit and booking fee will not be refunded. In the event of cancellation after payment of the balance every effort will be made to relet the property. If such reletting is possible the balance or that part thereof that is paid by another client and recouped via replacement booking will be repaid (less the deposit and booking fee).

7. Hirers' Responsibilities
The lead Hirer will ensure that:

All Guests act responsibly and carefully whilst at the Property and the Property is left clean, tidy and in the same state of repair and cleanliness that it was found in, for example crockery and cutlery is washed up and put back in cupboards and refuse is disposed of. Any breakage, damage or excessive mess will be billed to, and must be paid for, by the person who booked the property.
any damage or breakages made during the holiday occupancy are reported to the owner and must be paid for (wear and tear excepted);
no more than the maximum number of people or pets are allowed to stay at the Property (as stated on the Website)
smoking is not permitted in any of the Properties
any applicable laws and local or Government guidance are complied with at all times, and ensure that no lead Hirer or their Guests (if permitted at the Proper

The house is in a perfect position to get into Saundersfoot even though there is a steep hill on the way back, but there is plenty of transport if you need it, the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very well equipped after a long day at the beach.We also took advantage of the hot tub which they ( lucky for us ) put a new one in whilst we were there.There is also plenty of room throughout especially as there were only three of us and our German Shepherd.Lots of room for parking to and the neighbours are really friendly.My only comment would be, but we managed to work around it is that with a larger dog the gate is quite small and there was a gap in the fence on the left hand side, however this would not put me off going again or mark the property down as it had everything you need for a perfect break.

Bank Holiday Weekend

Lovely weekend away that suited me, my family and my dog. Excellent facilities, including a ground floor bedroom with disabled ensuite that was suitable for my 86yr old dad. An added bonus was the use of a hot tub. Spotlessly clean with everything you needed. A 10 minute walk downhill into Saundersfoot and a taxi ride home costing 5.65.
