Ideal house for 10 people, or 12 maxi (8 adults in the 4 double rooms and 4 children in the Cocoon room transformed into a dormitory).

In Saumane de Vaucluse, at the foot of the castle of the Abbot of Sade, the uncle of the famous Marquis! Close to the Sorgue river and the magnificent town of Isle sur la Sorgue, the paradise of antique dealers and the Venice of Provence...

In the heart of the old gardens of the castle of Saumane and the Luberon, between L'Isle sur la Sorgue and Gordes, in a dominant position.

A landscape of Provencal garrigue in the heart of olive trees, holm oaks, lavender and thyme ... confirms the authenticity of the place.

The property of 200m2, is located at the entrance of Saumane de Vaucluse, a village with typical Provencal charm perched on its rock and dominated by the castle of Sade.
Restored in the Provençal tradition, the house benefits from 3.500m2 of garden with trees, restanques and borie with a view of the castle.

ON THE GROUND FLOOR:
- large living room 69m2 with American kitchen, bar, cathedral living room with French ceilings, small living room with fire place (SCAN stove) and table football bar, dining room-veranda on jardin.WC cupboards.
A laundry room on the same level in the back kitchen equipped with a washing machine, dryer, American fridge, ice cube dispenser, wine cellar, storage shelves serving as pantry.
- The master bedroom-suite 'RONSARD' of 24,5m2 (bed with memory mattress (180x190) with bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and Italian shower - with a walk-in wardrobe, French ceilings, large wardrobe and two windows facing south and west overlooking the valley.

3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 shower rooms, 2 separate toilets, cupboards.
All bedrooms open onto the garden and have access to the swimming pool.
- 1 suite 'LILY' of 20m2 (2 beds 80x190 or 1 double 160x190) with its bathroom (bath or shower) and separate WC.
- 1 bedroom 'CHOCO' of 10m2 (2 beds 80x190 or 1 double 160x190) and shower room opposite.
- 1 bedroom 'NINA' of 10m2 (bed 140x200) and shower room opposite

You are close to many cultural and sporting activities: 5 minutes from the Tennis of Saumane (free access for our holidaymakers), the 18-hole Golf of Saumane, the descent of the Sorgue river in Canoe-Kayak, fishing, accrobranche, paintball, riding school...
Saumane de Vaucluse is also the starting point for many walks and bike rides: Canal de Carpentras, Sénanque Abbey, Gordes, Pernes les Fontaines...the wall of the Peste de Lagnes...

Avignon, the city of the popes is at 30mn by car or train and awaits you with its numerous museums, its famous theatre festival and the majestic Palais des Papes.
The sea, the beaches of the Blue Coast, Marseille, the creeks of Cassis and the Camargue are at 1 hour drive.

The beauty and variety of the landscapes, ochre quarries, orchards as far as the eye can see, green hills and small stone villages perched on the heights are exceptional.

A wide range of leisure activities are offered near the house located in the heart of the Lubéron: the many hiking trails (on foot, horseback, bicycle or mountain bike) allow you to discover this amazing nature which is the scene of many activities (including climbing on the cliffs of the massif, and fishing on the lakes).

Charminprovence

Idéalement située dans un village pittoresque, la propriété s’ouvre sur un jardin en terrasses avec des espaces piscine, boulodrome, tennis de table, repas ombragé avec plancha. Aucun vis à vis, très calme, à 10 minutes de L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue en voiture, randonnées accessibles depuis la maison. Les deux suites sont spacieuses, les deux autres chambres et sdb plus exiguës mais avec accès direct sur le jardin.. Mise à disposition d’une petite cave à vins. Aucun reproche, tout était parfait.

vacances super

Nous avons passé des semaines de vacances excellent chez vous. Tout etait super: la maison, le jardin, l´ameublement, les possibiltes de passer le temps avec le tennis, le ping-pong, le mini foot, le boule, le pool... Aussi les possibilites de randonner et les attractions touristiques très proche et tres facil accessible (aussi avec la bicyclette) nous ont fait beaucoup de plaisir. Merci. Calme et confortable

Séjour agréable et calme, maison bien située, beaucoup de beaux sites touristiques autour. Tout le monde a trouvé sa place. Maison bien équipée et même en période hivernale on ne s’est pas ennuyé ! Les propriétaires sont bien à l écoute.

Excellent stay at Charmin Provence

The villa is well equipped and includes numerous places for friends to hang out together or take some time more secluded. The pool is lovely. We were a group of 8 adults, and there is plenty of space. Location was really nice, close enough to quickly get to numerous locations. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice

We have had an excellent week. The house really has everything which is needed. 5 nice rooms of which 2 with bathroom. Kitchen with all equipment needed. Lovely place to eat outside. Very nice pool with sun during the whole day. And all this in a very nice environment. I would definitely recommend this place

Topweek in droomlocatie

Geweldig verblijf van een week met kinderen en kleinkinderen. Wat een fantastisch huis en wat een geweldige plek! Veel gebruik gemaakt van bet zwembad, de kinderen waren er niet weg te slaan, en van de plancha. 's Avonds met de volwassenen uren buiten gezeten en genoten van het uitzicht. Vriendelijke eigenaar, die een paar keer kangs kwam om het zwembad te controleren. Een topplek, een echte aanrader voor een groep, met of zonder kinderen. Omgeving ook prachtig : Fontaine de Vaucluse, Isle sur la Sorgue, en iets verder, Saint Rémy de Provence. En nog veel meer. Kortom: fantastisch.

Provenzialisches Ferienhaus mit großem Gelände und Pool

Wir haben mit 4 Ehepaaren ein großes Ferienhaus in der Provence gesucht und „Les Jardins de Sade“ hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Das gut ausgebaute Ferienhaus hat 5 Schlafzimmer und genügend Badezimmer und WCs. Das Wohnzimmer ist geräumig, die Küche gut ausgestattet (incl. Geschirrspülmaschine und 2 Kühlschränken incl. Ice-Crusher); Waschmaschine und Trockner ermöglichen eine spontane Wäsche. Gegessen haben wir entweder im großen „Patio“ (Wintergarten) oder auf der überdachten Freiluftterrasse mit Elektrogrill. Der große Pool ist der Hit! Durch die Abdeckung und den abendlich zu aktivierenden Poolroboter ist der Pool stets sauber und wir konnten uns dort prima erfrischen und austoben. Außerdem gibt es auf dem Gelände eine Boulebahn, Tischtennisplatte, u.v.a.m. Somit sind Ferienhaus und Gelände so gut ausgestattet, dass man den ganzen Tag dort verbringen könnte. Der Vermieter hat uns vor dem Aufenthalt mit allen erforderlichen Hinweisen zur Benutzung von Anlagen und Geräten versorgt. Über Telefon bzw. WhatsApp konnten wir alle Anliegen klären. Im kleinen Ort Saumane-de-Vaucluse ist nichts los; es gibt keine Läden, aber dafür das sehr empfehlenswerte Restaurant „Haut Perché“ mit gutem Essen und schöner Terrasse (Tisch vorher reservieren!). Zum Einkaufen in Bäckerei oder Supermarkt muss man in die 5 km entfernte Stadt Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (schöne Innenstadt, Markt mit >300 Ständen am So+Do) fahren. Weitere Ausflugsziele: Avignon, Vaison-la-Romaine, Gordes, Lacoste, Bonnieux.

Family Holiday

Our family, including a 4 year old, 4 adult children and their partners and their parents, had a wonderful week together, There was something for everybody at this property. Hiking was easily accessible, basically across the road, a lovely restaurant up the road that we could all walk to, if we didn’t feel like cooking and dining either outside under a canopy or in the beautiful solarium. The pool was a big hit with wonderful lounge chairs that provide shade to the head! Fabrice was very responsive when we had questions. He also installed a new electric barbecue which was very good. There are lots of activities nearby, including river canoeing and visiting some of the local towns that we enjoyed. We also enjoyed the on-site pétanque pitch. Note that – you do need a car to get any groceries or even baguettes as there are no stores nearby, The setting, with its multilevel stonewalled garden, is stunning. In summary this a great vacation setting to experience and enjoy the charms of Provence.

Wonderful experience!

This is a beautiful property, right on the edge of a small village. There were seven of us, and it never felt crowded. There is lots of outdoor space, including a Pétanque Court, ping-pong, swimming pool, outdoor dining. The house is beautifully furnished and had everything that we needed. Communication with the owner was great… He always responded quickly if we had questions. It’s an easy drive to several wonderful Provence destinations. We all highly recommend this wonderful place!

Village très calme avec juste un petit restaurant très sympa. Mais on trouve tout à 5 kms : commerces à L'isle sur sorgue, canoë, accrobranche, des marchés un peu partout. Tout pour passer un bon séjour.

Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. The house was stunning, clean and tidy. We were given clear instructions on everything in the house. Beautiful rooms, clean and very comfortable bedding. Very well equipped kitchen. A clean pool with everything you need for both children and adults. Every corner of the house is very pleasant and fun to sit and solitude there. The environment is very quiet. Very convenient location for hiking and touring. We have really enjoyed. We would definitely recommend friends to stay at this house

fijne woning, goede bedden in de slaapkamers. Meer dan voldoende keukenapparatuur, wasmachine, droger etc. Heerlijk zwembad, jeu de boule baan en rondom het huis overal terrassen waar je kunt zitten. Nadeel is de vele trappetjes. dus wel opletten met kinderen. Een rustige plek en ideaal met familie of vrienden.

Charming country house with things to do

Our group of 6, three generations, all enjoyed this property. Everything in the house (plumbing, electrical, mechanical) worked flawlessly, which is much appreciated. The appliances were modern. The decor is a tasteful mix of provencal and modern. When a couple days of cold, windy weather came through, we enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, trying the sauna, and having fusbol tournaments. Though it was too early in the season to use the pool and outdoor decks, the kids enjoyed the ping-pong table. We all liked the sunroom dining room surrounded by greenery outdoors. Fontaine-de-Vaucluse is just a short drive away and a very nice surprise that we hadn't seen mentioned in any of the books and articles we'd read about the area. I wish I'd known that the property has its own listing on Google Maps (like a hotel). That would have been much easier to find than trying to translate the page of directions in French on a smartphone in a car. The address provided through VRBO, when entered into navigation, took us miles away from where the property is actually located, so just be aware. The only thing all 6 of us found uncomfortable were the bed pillows. They were very firm foam, like comically firm. My husband commented that moving it actually made a "thud." If that isn't something you're used to, I'd talk with the property owner about alternatives. We met Fabrice and he was very kind. Overall, we give the property 5 stars and will have nice memories of our stay there!

Herbst in der Provence

Nach langer Zeit wieder einmal Provence. Sehr schöner Urlaub. Tolles Haus , alles sehr unkompliziert, wunderschöner Garten, fantastischer Pool (auch im November!). Danke vielmals! Fam. Luz u. Fam. Jesinger, Süddeutschland.

Très agréable séjour à Saumane , site magnifique

Belle maison originale par son architecture et la répartition des diverses "zones"sur plusieurs niveaux , grands volumes . Les jardins de Sade très beaux avec les multiples espaces en terrasses permettent de s'isoler et de se regrouper selon les envies . Très belle piscine en terrasse

Très bon séjour dans la région, belles balades et retour avec plaisir à la location très agréable pour profiter de la piscine. Propriétaires à l'écoute de nos besoins.
