Quaint, Affordable Cottage! Walking Distance to Downtown Saugatuck

  • Come together with family and friends at the Starry Night Cottage located in a quiet neighborhood which is walking distance from downtown Saugatuck. This ranch style home has over 1500 square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and hardwood floors throughout. You can relax in comfort after a fun filled day on the screened porch and enjoy watching hummingbirds and butterflies that visit the perennial flowers. This home is very clean and tastefully decorated.
    The Starry Night Cottage is walking distance to restaurants, shops, parks and the harbor. The cottage is a ten minute walk to the Chain Ferry and right across the street from a bike path that goes all the way to Holland, Michigan!
    Saugatuck is one of USA Today's "Best Summer Weekend Escapes" known as "The Art Coast of Michigan". Saugatuck boasts a number of galleries, state park, fine dining, special events for all ages, and a plethora of interesting shops and wine tasting opportunities. We have fallen in love with Saugatuck and all it offers!

Perfect location to walk to Water st. and main shopping, dinning area. Quaint but not small, very spacious. 10 ft ceilings huge bathrooms, screened back porch, large well equipped kitchen, and large seperate dinning and living areas.

Starry Night cottage was in a nice quiet neighborhood, but with easy access to the Saugatuck downtown offerings and the beaches. Traveling with our 2 dogs, we really appreciated the fenced backyard and screened- in back patio! Very comfortable, and the owners were super - responsive!

Great Stay - Love the House

Very clean, has everything you need, even extra paper towel, toilet paper, zip bags! This place was well equipped, nice yard for the little dogs and just a short walk to down town Saugatuck. Will stay again!

Love the new updates

This was our 3rd stay at Starry nights cottage, and the cleaniness and supplies were superb as usual. Love the updated shower this trip, plus the addition of the king bed. The location and screened porch are favorite features for us also.

Great place

This cottage is even bigger and nicer than it looks in the pictures. We really enjoyed the spacious, fully equipped kitchen and the lovely screened-in back porch. The street is quiet and it's an easy walk to town.

Very comfortable cottage

What a lovely, quiet location within walking distance (aprox 10 minutes at kiddo speed) to downtown Saugatuck! The place is lovely and was larger than expected with a modern kitchen. Loved sitting on the screened in porch in the evenings!

Perfect for family and large dog

Great location- Quiet street and only a 10 minute walk via sidewalks to town/ shopping district. Very spacious house and fenced in yard- Our golden retriever couldn’t have been happier! Perfect and thoughtful hosts- the house has everything you will need including towels by the door for wet dog feet in the event of rain! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Saugatuck!

Couldn't Recommend Enough

This property was exactly what we needed for our sleepy beach weekend! (It's even bigger than it looks in the pictures, we were pleasantly surprised.) The fenced-in yard was perfect for our pup to get her zoomies out, and we enjoyed sitting on the screened-in back porch in the evenings without worrying about getting attacked by bugs. A short walk to downtown, our group was able to come and go very easily. Tracey and Tim were excellent communicators and were very accommodating to any questions that we had. Will book here again next time we're back in Saugatuck!

One more trip

This was our annual spring break trip and our first time staying here. The place was exactly as described, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our dogs loved the backyard and the kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook. The coffee pot is not a keurig so we purchased ground coffee at the store. Will definitely stay here again! The whole experience was easy from start to finish.

Beautiful property, close enough to walk to downtown. We really enjoyed the screened porch. The front door lock was a bit temperamental and tricky to figure out but we got it eventually.

Wedding weekend

My friends and I had a wonderful time using the house for a wedding weekend. Clean, spacious, cute, and very close to downtown. Checkin and checkout processes were seamless with great communication from the host. Would love to come again and bring my fur baby next time as it is dog friendly :) thanks for a beautiful weekend!!

Off-season beach getaway

Tracey and Tim, Starry Night could not have been more perfect for our fall getaway with our dog. Each night, we walked to Saugatuck for dinner, which was closer than we expected, and our dog enjoyed the fenced-in yard in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood. My husband and I joked that whoever cleans Starry Night needs to come and clean ours because it was impeccable.
