Step inside Getaway on the Green and experience a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern comfort. Stayed there for a group golf trip. Sleeping arrangements were tight for our size group but that was in us, not the listing. Nice place with a location that's close enough for easy trips to the bars and restaurants of Saugatuck.

We had such an amazing time! The house was fantastic and the hot tub was a highlight of our trip. Even when we had a slight malfunction with a pocket door, the communication and quick fix was perfection! Shout out to maintenance guy Tim who was the nicest human ever! We loved being so close to town and the bikes were fantastic!

This is a cozy place to stay located in a golf course. It is well-equipped and clean—just right for our 7 night stay (6 adults and two dogs). Well located, but nothing really is walkable. Easy to manage dogs in the back yard and we all enjoyed the hot tub! Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway spot! Minutes from town and the beach while enjoying the peace and quiet of the wooden surroundings. The house is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The outdoor spaces were perfect for us. Really enjoyed watching the golfers as we relaxed in the backyard. Super friendly and helpful interactions with hosts from start to finish. Would absolutely stay again.

Awesome little home!!!

We loved our stay!!! The place was really nice, clean and quiet. We had woods all around it was so nice. I was hesitant due to the past reviews but we didnt mind the old fashion or out dated look. I care more about cleanliness and the water did not smell, at least not anymore. The home was super stocked and comfy.The only thing I forgot my personal pillow in the master bedroom, so that was my fault but communication was great until that point that I asked if they could locate my pillow, the responses went to none.

Pros and cons

Pros: 1) Beautiful property and house—two bathrooms is a huge plus 2) Deer and Turkeys to see 3) Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked with supplies 4) Nice grill and fire pit area 5) Great location Cons: 1) Water smells like sulfur—worst in the shower 2) No locks on bathroom doors—this is a huge issue for us 3) We couldn’t figure out how to turn on the dishwasher 4) The screen door off one of the bedrooms closes very quickly and makes a loud noise—not safe—but the front screen door doesn’t close on it’s own and needs to be pushed closed 5) I would like more control of the temperature at night. 70s is too hot for us—68 is ideal. Overall a great stay. Thank you!

Horrific water smell!!!

Great space for 4 adults and 2 kids, but very outdated. The water had a horrific smell (septic or sewer) which was unbearable to shower. We used bottle water to brush our teeth! Rental was not clean when we arrived at 4pm, check-in was 3pm. Cleaners finished about 7pm. We were reimbursed cleaning fee to stay. I so you do not book this rental again.
