With a beautifully landscaped and fenced backyard and all of the necessary amenities, Rise N Shine is the perfect Michigan vacation destination for you and your loved ones! This charming cottage is located within walking distance of downtown Saugatuck’s shops and restaurants (a half-mile west), which also makes for a relaxing bike ride. The property is also only a mile from the area's most popular beach, Oval Beach. Quieter Douglas Beach (two miles southwest) and Saugatuck Dunes State Park (four miles north) are nearby as well.

After a gorgeous day spent out on Lake Michigan, relax on the deck or out front inside the three-season, screened front porch, furnished with a patio table set and comfortable lounge chairs and equipped with a split heating/air-conditioning unit.

Additional amenities include a private washer/dryer, outdoor shower, gas grill, air-conditioning, two dog crates, and access to streaming TV services using your own accounts.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beautiful home so close to town! Great neighborhood for walking and exercising pets. Be careful on the porch—slick when wet and the top step isn’t marked. Lighting can be wonky, and the beds are . . . In need of an upgrade. Kitchen was well-stocked with high-end appliances. TV was nice. Backyard was great with dogs. Would definitely stay again!

Great spot for family with young kids and dog

We had a great stay in Saugatuck this past week! It was the perfect location! We walked downtown daily and were a short drive to Oval Beach and Douglas. We are a family of 5 plus our dog. We brought our own pack n play and kept the baby with us in the master bedroom. The 2 bedroom and 2 bath was perfect for our family. The screened in porch was lovely for some more indoor space.

Nice property layout and linens were clean. There is a bit of a smell, but somewhat to be expected with it being dog friendly focused. You get a response in a timely manner to address any questions which helped.

Perfect get-away spot

This property was everything it was advertised! The house was spotless and really well laid out. We had our two dogs with us and the fenced in yard was perfect for them. We had a perfect time doing absolutely nothing for a few days, which is exactly what we were looking for! Will go back again!

Wonderful

What a charming home! Great care has been put into every detail of his house, which is lovely and well appointed throughout. We especially loved the all weather porch and spent lots of time there playing games and watching tv. The yard is on the smaller side, but it was nice to have for our dog. Town is accessible by foot if you’re willing to walk just a bit. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! Everything was very clean and neat. It was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The home was well stocked with anything we might need. Our favorite room was the large screened in porch, where we spent a lot of time! The neighborhood was nice and quiet and a great place to walk. We love visiting Saugatuck and look forward to staying in this home again!

Great stay!

This property was adorable. It was perfect for a girls weekend. When we showed up the driveway had not been plowed so that was a small challenge but otherwise everything else was great! The beds were so comfortable! We would definitely go back again!

Great Porch and Within walking Distance to Town

The rental was a great space for my parents, dog and I. We would wake and walk into town for our morning exercise, watch movies in the evening on the porch and rock on the front porch after spending the day out in town or checking out new spots. My mom couldn’t do the walk to town and walk downtown - so we still needed to park downtown for her. Luckily it was an ‘off’ season so we did t have to worry about parking! Lovely home!

Very nice home except….

Very cute home but the entryway from the sunroom to enter the house there is a high step over which I did not see because I was carrying things into the house and tripped and fell. This should be marked at eye level. I am ok but landed on a knee that I am having replaced next week. Pretty painful. Great place but please mark this hazard.
