Modern beach Villa - Property can accommodate up to 16 pp - close to the beach

The property was constructed as a modern oasis with an abundance of windows to foster in natural light. The construction uses a myriad of natural, stones, woods, and other native materials to meld the property into the Costa Rican landscape. The living and dining space are an open concept extending up to the 2 story roof line.The kitchen features all modern high end appliances and ample seating for 6 at the massive kitchen island. The kitchen opens up to a covered terrace with a hand carved table which can seat up to 15; making the spaces a perfect combination for entertaining and lounging. You will find 2 guest suites with queen size beds on the lower level, each with access to their own full bathes. Both of these guest suites have access to a shared outside terrace that leads to the property's private pool. Head upstairs and you will find a large 3rd guest bedroom with a queen and twin bed; perfect setup for a kids suite . Also located on the 2nd floor is the huge master suite, adorned with a king size bed and separate seating areas. Off the master you will find a private terrace to sip your coffee and listen to the howler monkeys in the morning. The master bathroom is truly a spa setting with double vanities and an expansive indoor / outdoor shower. We are sure you will appreciate the master suite as much as we do. Each of the bedrooms and also the main living areas (kitchen/dinning and living room) have their own air conditioning units to keep you cool in the Costa Rican heat. Located in the rear of the property is your own private swimming pool with a deck adorned with lounge chairs for sun bathing. There is even an outdoor shower to rinse off after coming back from the beach.
This listing is for the main house (4 bedroom / 3 full baths) the property also has 2 guest casitas each with an expansive living space, full baths, A/C units, hot water and their own kitchenette. Each casita can accomodate up to 4 people. These can be added to your stay to accommodate a larger family or group for $125 a night each.

Kattya was such an amazing host before and during stay. Norma made some amazing meals that we will never forget. I would say the home could use some updates as far as the paint and furniture. Giant ants everywhere, even the outdoor shower.

First time in Costa Rica

We had an amazing trip!! Norma is the absolute best and every meal she made was so good. We used the golf carts to get to town and the beach club and we used the transportation arranged by Katya to explore further. The catamaran and river tour are an absolute must. I’m already planning my trip back!

Family trip to Costa Rica

We took 5 couples (all family) and 2 kids on a wonderful trip to CR. Location was great for access to so many things. Only draw back was that the road noise is a little loud for most people, but not a major issue. Also the golf cart and Norma's cooking/hospitality are major assets to the accommodations.

Pura Vida Paradise: Villa Sadhana, Playa del Coco's Gem

We just returned from the most incredible vacation at Villa Sadhana in Playa del Coco, and we can't stop raving about it! Our group consisted of six adults, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. Kattya, the host, deserves all the praise she gets. Her responsiveness and attention to detail were outstanding. The property itself is a hidden gem, a private oasis close to town and the beach. The house was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. One minor downside mentioned by a previous reviewer was the road noise, however, this was a small inconvenience. Norma, the chef and house manager, was a true gem. Her delicious and authentic meals made our stay even more memorable. Whether we were exploring La Leona Waterfall, enjoying an adventure day at Guachipelin, or enjoying a 4-hour private sailboat cruise, we knew we had a clean, comfortable and beautiful home to return to. The pool area was our oasis, and the house had ample room for our group to spread out and find privacy. The furnishings were comfortable and created room for the entire group to relax and enjoy a movie together. We want to express our gratitude to Kattya and Norma for making this vacation truly special. From the delicious restaurant recommendations to the helpful suggestions for activities, Kattya went above and beyond. Norma's cooking was a highlight, and we're already missing it! If you're considering a trip to Playa del Coco, Villa Sadhana is the place to stay.

Best VACAY Ever!

Fantastic property! We were a group of 3 couples that spent a week in Coco. Kattya was so responsive and made our trip flawless! She coordinated transfers to and from the airport and all our excursions! Our chef, Norma, was fabulous! Nutritious meals with the freshest of ingredients and so tasty! She is a jewel! We explored La Leona Waterfall and the rain forest, ATV excursions to Tamarindo, and a 6 hour catamaran cruise. Don't miss Father Roosters and CoCoNuts! The house was its own oasis, close to everything. We did secure the golf cart. The home was wonderful and the AC worked great. The pool was our own party on the patio area. We can't wait to come back. Thanks Kattya! Memories were made. Pura Vida!

Excellent Stay!

Kattya was incredibly helpful from the start until the end. We loved the house and furnishings - very well done. Norma was wonderful, and her food was delicious! We had 14 adults, and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out, find privacy, and gather together too. The only minor downside was the road noise if sitting on the front side of the house. But nowadays, this is hard to avoid! Great proximity to town and the beach on golf carts that Kattya arranged for us. We would definitely return, and we all miss Norma's cooking! :-)

Private Oasis

Kattya and Norma and the entire maintenance team were on point and responsive to every request. This beautiful property is safe and secure - a hidden gem tucked away in a private oasis, close to town and the beach and easily accessible off the main road to Playa del Coco. Dream vacation home

I knew from the reviews that people were always pleased with Villa Sadhana but I was still surprised when we arrived to see it was EXACTLY as described. The home is beautiful and the landscaping and pool give a feeling of a tropical oasis. The home was spotless and very secure. It had any amenities we could have needed. The absolute best part about renting this amazing home is the option to have Norma shop and cook meals for you. She was the absolute highlight of my trip. She was so kind, flexible and her meals were delicious. Don't think twice, it was so nice to wake up to breakfast, go about our excursions and return home for a delicious dinner. Kattya was on call and very responsive from the time I booked u til the second we left. She booked all of our excursions and we enjoyed each one. There is nothing that isn't taken care of. Wonderful host and dream vacation home! Thank you Kattya!

Best VRBO ever!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed every minute in Coco, thanks to Kattya and her amazing place! From the moment I contacted her, she went above and beyond to answer any questions and give the best suggestions for restaurants and things to do. We made the most of our time by visiting the beautiful beaches (our favorite was a local spot at Penca Beach), doing a morning sailboat excursion, visiting waterfalls and hot springs, and going to another local spot called Los Coyotes with gorgeous tourquoise creeks and caves. Norma cooked us an amazing breakfast and is available for any and all meals - she truly is the sweetest! Dinner at The Lookout was a fabulous ending overlooking the coast! Thanks so much, Kattya and Norma, for a wonderful vacation full of great memories!!

Loved Pura Vida!

We loved our time at Villa Sadhana. Kattya was so helpful in prepping us for the trip, scheduling all of our activities, and being readily available any time we needed anything. The house is beautiful and was so comfortable for our family of five. We loved all of the activities and how much we got to see if Costa Rica from just a short ride from the house. Also having Norma cook us breakfasts and dinners was great, the empanadas were excellent! We loved living pura vida and can’t wait to go back!

The best place in Playa del Coco

After tons of research, We settled on staying here, at Kattya’s place and wow did it exceed our expectations. The house and property itself is beautiful and it has an incredible location. Kattya goes above and beyond to help with anything you may need on your trip. She answered all my questions and helped plan our excursions. I could not have planned this trip without her. Our driver Diego was wonderful and helped up get wherever we needed to go. He also would tell us more about Costa Rica as we were driving to our destination. Norma truly made it an unforgettable trip. Her food was incredible and she even taught us how to make it so we could repeat her recipes when we returned home. She is so kind and caring, our one year old adored her. I would 100 percent recommend this house to anyone.

Action and relaxation

What a wonderful trip! Our family had the perfect combination of action and relaxation! Kattya was so helpful with any questions we had and secured all our amazing and fun excursions! We also had wonderful relaxation hanging out at the house enjoying the pool and sitting porches. Also- the whole family wanted to use the master indoor/outdoor shower! Luxury! I absolutely cannot say enough about Norma! Her cooking is superb and she has a caring and sweet spirit! You will NOT regret using her services! Great vacation property in CR

Just spent a wonderful week in a fabulous property in Playa del Coco. We had such a fun time. The house is spacious, very clean and comfortable. The pool was perfect for our crew. The owner Kattya was so accommodating. Our plans changed a few times due to a sick little one but she graciously adjusted arrangements as needed. A golf cart was available that made jaunts to the grocery store & town a breeze. Also Norma is a wonderful cook and I encourage visitors to take advantage of her great cooking. This an excellent property that I’m sure we’ll visit again.

Nice property

The home was as described property owner is very responsive. Home stayed at a moderate temp it was extremely warm in Costa Rica so it was nice to go inside and cool off. There are a lot of bugs but expected for the country so be sure to keep the doors closed to avoid this. Drivers found the location quick and easy. Market is about a ten minute walk. All the restaurants suggested by the owner where nice. Taxis are really cheap in my opinion. My little one got sick I caught a taxi into town for $5 Roundtrip. The people are extremely nice. Norma is a sweet lady and makes the absolute best pancakes. We booked her for breakfast daily and she was on time and the food was really good. She offered to clean which was a nice offer we only asked to have the restrooms cleaned. All and all If I where to come back I would book the home again.

You will be glad you booked this house!

Just back from a fantastic stay in CR with 3 teens and this was the perfect house! The house itself is great, with everything you could need -- clean all over, plenty of space, modern appliances, the AC cools down fast, comfortable beds, and a great pool area out back! The owner is the best -- she works with you both before and during your trip to make sure you have everything you need, including enough info to figure out what you want to do while there or even to help you get it booked. And be sure to treat yourself by having Norma come and cook for you while there -- we literally had her come over for multiple meals almost every day of our stay and they were all fantastic! By the time we left we were as sad to leave her behind as the house! We've stayed at lots of VRBOs but this is definitely we'll look forward to returning to!

I felt like Oprah. 😂

Our 4 kids and my husband and I stayed for 4 nights. The house and grounds are so beautiful. Convenient golf cart ride to the grocery store, just 3/4 of a mile away. Norma made most of our meals and we all wish we could take her back home with us. She was amazing and the food was so good! Big iguanas watched us from the side of the pool as we swam and lounged. They were begging! They have poor aim if you try to feed them by hand and their teeth are sharp! The outdoor shower in the master is so nice. 1 mile to the ocean. I highly recommend!

Best vacation ever

From the time I inquired about the property until my last day, the owner was amazing. Responds quickly and so helpful with all my questions ( and I had many). The home is an oasis as mentioned. So spacious, so beautiful and peaceful. The house manager Norma who made many of our meals was outstanding. So sweet and kind. Her food was delicious every time. We never had a meal in mind, we just say “ surprise us” and she always would lay out the most delicious meal that was so thought out. The owner scheduled our excursion with drivers that were all a delight. Offering their expertise of the beautiful location/area we were staying. I can go on and on. It was just an overall amazing vacation with myself and 4 of my best friends. A time we will never forget and where we made the best memories. Kattya, thank you so much for your home. We will definitely be back.

Will be back!

So glad we found this place. Kattya was extremely helpful with planning excursions and things to do, communicated daily with her during our stay. Norma made amazing breakfast every morning, had awesome smoothies and was available as we needed her. Diego picked us up, drove us places, was our personal tour guide wherever we went. We are so so thankful to have found this place, they are very family friendly. The golf cart was an advantage so we could drive down to the beach or restaurants/shops. The kids loved playing in the pool at night with the lights on and were entertained by the iguanas and geckos located on the property. Overall, we definitely want to come back again and would recommend this place to anybody looking to make a trip to Costa Rica.

You are going to make me cry❤️ I can’t even explain the luv that I received from everyone. Your home met all of my expectations and received compliments all weekend about our stay. I will highly recommend everyone to stay at your home. Norma was spectacular and the best host ever. Saying thank you is not enough.. this is a memory forever..❤️

A wonderful home and perfect host

This was the best experience overall! The house is beautiful and has so many details in its design and appointments (books, games, pool, bikes). Norma made delicious food and was always available to help. Kattya truly was the most resourceful and helpful host I’ve ever encountered. She’s a local expert and can help with pretty much any issue and does so with such a great attitude. We can’t wait to return.
