Island Getaway is just a short walk from the spectacular beaches, crystal clear waters and legendary sunsets of Anna Maria. The backyard is a tropical paradise; perfect for entertaining or just unwinding in peace! Here you'll escape to your private oasis and enjoy your sparkling heated pool, gas grill, outdoor dining area and the cozy furnished cabana. Great for lounging in the shade after a day in the sun!

Island Getaway features high- end beach inspired furnishings & décor in a spacious open layout. The fully equipped kitchen features custom cabinetry, granite countertops and all new top of the line appliances! The dining table seats six, and you'll find even more dining options at the breakfast bar & poolside at the patio table. The huge master suite boasts a comfortable king size bed, TV, and an incredible en-suite bath, complete with a walk in shower and large jetted garden tub!

The second bedroom offers a queen bed, twin over twin bunkbeds, and a TV for relaxing after a long day of play.

Island Getaway is nestled into Anna Maria Island's city of Holmes Beach. Here you'll be close to restaurants & Shopping, but worlds away from the hustle and bustle you left behind. It's time to plan your Island Getaway, and this home will take you there!

You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. The minimum requirement for this home is no less than seven nights. Simply Amazing!!

This house was so easy to get into once we arrived. Plenty of parking space. The house was gorgeous inside and spacious. Loved the pool and back deck as well. It was stocked fully with plenty of pool floats to go along. Perfect beach home :)

Great Stay

We had a great vacation! Home was clean and had everything we needed for our week-long stay. The backyard is the best part - loved the pool and patio area. Host included basically everything you would need for the beach - sand toys, chairs, floats, even a beach cart. Would love to stay here again if we ever return to Anna Maria Island.

The home was nice, but a bit pricey for the location and size. Extra shading was needed on the pool deck and there was an outside retractable awning that looked new and would have provided the extar shade needed. However there were no instructions and property manager was going to check on it and never got back to us about it.

Second time staying here!!! Love!!

Our stay this year was our second in this particular home, and the third on the island. We just love this property. It has everything you need, and the backyard and pool are absolutely perfect. We like the quick walk to the beach and appreciate the crossing light because we have small kids. A short walk or cart ride to multiple restaurants, shops, ice cream, etc. such a great location central to everything. Every time we came home from an outing big or small, we felt happy to be "home." We plan to stay again next year if scheduling allows. Thank you for opening your home to us! There are a few things I would suggest for improvement, but the owner can contact me privately to discuss, as they don't impact my review and aren't necessary to publicize.

Never wanted to leave

This house was a slice of paradise. Everything was immaculate. The pool was perfect for our teenage daughter and her two friends to stay in until 11pm most nights. Super quick walk to the beach to catch the incredible sunsets. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping, and ice cream. The yard is gorgeous. What I really liked was the space. TONS of room to store your belongings so that it didn't feel like you were living out of a suitcase. The master has this massive "walk in closet" area. I would rent again in a heartbeat!

Great Stay

I've rented several properties on Anna Maria and this was one of the good ones! Clean and well decorated to get you into the beach mood. Perfect location with a 5 minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Very well appointment with all of the things we needed in the kitchen. Pool was a great size for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids. Anna Maria Life manages the property and they are very good to work with. Just wish the weather would have cooperated a bit more!

Great week at AMI

We truly enjoyed our stay at the house. It was everything the description detailed. The house layout was great, warm, and inviting. Beds were comfortable. The outdoor patio and pool were wonderful. The only thing missing was washcloths in the bathroom. We definitely would stay at this house again.

Perfect vacation

We had a lovely time at this VRBO. Beach access was super easy. Very comfortable rooms and living spaces. Loved the pool, backyard, lots of natural light, comfy beds, and beautiful living spaces. Only improvements I would make: water pressure in main bathroom shower was inadequate to take a shower—guests had to use master bathroom for this. Kitchen was missing a few essentials, but Anna Maria Rentals was prompt about remedying the situation. I would recommend a full inventory be done because there are still things missing such as a complete set of measuring cups and there are very few bowls available. Also, just so you know-there are a few Corning ware pieces in there that are worth a lot of money because they are antiques and I would hate the owner to lose them if someone breaks them. Wonderful stay…thank you!

Great stay, but unexpected eye sore in the yard

We really loved the location of this unit. Also the size was perfect for our family of 4 and my mother. Unfortunately I was a little misled by thinking the camper mentioned in a previous review would be moved. It’s also not shown in the pictures. But there is a huge RV parked in the backyard and it’s a real eye sore. Also, the mattresses are terrible. All the adults backs hurt all week. And be prepared to wash the comforters, one had a fecal spot on it and the others did not smell clean either. So I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately based on the camper and terrible mattresses.

House at Holmes Beach

The home was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. We loved the private backyard and pool, which were also very well maintained. The house was located in a quiet location with an easy short walk to the beach.

Cute house, great for small family

House was perfect size for me, my husband and adult son. Pool is heated and great for an evening swim. If you plan to bbq, let agency know as soon as you check in so they can bring propane. You may also want to order groceries before you arrive since Publix is a madhouse on Saturdays due to traveler turn over. You will need everything as the house does not keep any perishable items or condiments. Walking distance to a lovely beach and a few restaurants.

Great Location

The house has an open floor plan with a private fenced back yard and pool. The kitchen is large with a nice fridge and stove. To our disappointment there was a very large motor home with a boat parked on the side and back yard. No matter where you sat in the back yard you viewed the motor home. The description of the property along with pictures did not disclose this. The motor home and boat blocked the windows in both bedrooms. The location is great for walking to nearby restaurants and shopping. The master bedroom is nice size but the pillows and bedding need replacing . Provided are king size pillows but only standard pillow cases. Overall the house is nice but we should have been informed about the motor home which was a huge disappointment. We have been going to AMI for years and always rent for a month. The rental company should have disclossed the presence of the motor home. The kitchen drawers were dirty inside, the ice maker was broken, screen on sliding glass doors was torn, the track for the doors were extremely dirty.

November Stay on AMI

My husband and I loved this house! It was exactly as pictured in the listing, if not even more charming in person. We also loved the location - short walk to an uncrowded stretch of beach, short walk to shops and restaurants, and a quick drive to Pine Ave. We will definitely book this property again in the future!

Very nice home

We were very happy with the home overall. The interior is very nice with a very functional and comfortable layout. It is one of the nicer homes we've stayed at on Anna Maria / Holmes. There were very minor issues that did not require notice for us to enjoy our stay that we alerted the rental company to upon check out. If the prior renter had done the same I'm sure the minor issues would have been dealt with prior to our arrival. The outdoor space is also quit nice but wasn't what exactly suits us. The pool area is a bit overgrown with the landscaping. It keeps debris in the pool daily and seems to allow mosquitos a nesting area that then become a nuisance around dusk. The need to spend a few moments each day collecting the leaves from the pool was made difficult by a quit worn out pool net. The pool is mostly shaded which I'm sure for some is a plus we happen to prefer a sunnier pool area. This is more of a personal preference than an issue. The pool area is nice, I would suggest some landscaping to help with the overgrown feeling. I would recommend this home even though the outdoor space doesn't fit what we prefer the overall experience was very good.

Cozy house with beautiful pool area

We had a great time at this house. The house is very clean and decorated nicely. It has everything you might need during your stay. The beach is close, 3-4 minutes walking distance. We had no problems during our stay. The pool was cleaned a couple of times. I would definitely recommend this house and come back again.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean home!
