Sarasota is a great place to vacation. Warm temperatures year-round, award-winning beaches and a thriving arts and cultural scene have made Sarasota a go-to place for retirees and families. This southwest Florida city, which is about an hour from Tampa and two hours from Orlando, continues to attract new visitors with great restaurants and plenty of shopping options & #1 Beach.
The home can accommodate 6 guests, fenced in yard, Lani with outside seating, gas grill & hammock.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nancy’s place. The house itself was lovely, clean, and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better, with the beach and nearby stores just a short drive/walk away. The yard and lanai were perfect spots to relax (especially the hammock), and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The only drawback was that the house wasn’t very well stocked. There were no basics like coffee or general pantry staples. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it did mean we had to run to the store right away after arriving. Overall it was a great place to stay, and with a bit more attention to the essentials, it would easily be a 5 star experience.with a bit more attention to the essentials, it would easily be a 5-star experience.

The place was immaculate! Perfect location!!! Quick drive to the beach and when you come back, it's a nice and quiet neighborhood to relax. Relaxing on the screened in porch was fabulous. Your beach amenities were so appreciated! Towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler and more!! Can't wait to stay here again!!!

Cute cottage!

There were 5 females in the cottage for a girl cousins trip (2 adults, 3 kids). We were worried about only having one bathroom, but we were easily able to take turns and make it work. The cottage is near everything we wanted to do, and the beach gear that was provided was fantastic. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint, and we really liked having our own space rather than be in a crowded condo. I highly recommend this gem!

Very Nice Accommodation

Plenty of restaurants, grocers and shopping in the immediate area. Venture 10 minutes to Siesta Key with primo restaurants and the stellar Siesta Beach. The house is very comfortable; we loved staying there. We did our laundry, bought groceries (Detwiler's farm market is highly recommended), cooked a bit and saved some on restaurant expense. Very nice location and nice, spacious and comfortable house.

My 40th Birthday vacation

We had a great vacation staying at this property. The place was clean and the appliances worked. The neighborhood was very quiet. The location is awesome, because it’s close to the supermarket, beach and other stores. Two bicycles/ air pumps were available, so we had a choice of cycling to the food stores or the beach. There were beach chairs, umbrella and floaters available. We really appreciate having a washing machine and dryer. We recommend this place to anyone needing a home away from home.

Quiet and friendly neighborhood!

We enjoyed our stay once again, the house has 2 beautiful bedrooms with a large living room area. It's located between 6 to 10 minutes drive to the beach and pickle ball courts depending on the traffic and time of day. We have stayed at this house several times and the hosts have always responded to our calls and resolved our issues whenever we had any.

Relaxing stay

Lovely home in the suburbs. Great communication from Nancy in the lead up. Check in process super easy. House was spotless and very well equipped, from kitchenware to beach items and an emergency box. Beds very comfy. Gorgeous Beaches about 10-15min drive away. Some nice shops and restaurants within walking distance. Easily drivable to many of the activities including state park and Sarasota bay eco tours. Had a lovely time - highly recommend

Perfect getaway

My best friend and I were so happy and comfortable staying in this beautifully maintained and immaculate home. Our mini getaway

The cottage was even better than described. It was close to the beach and everything that you might want to do or see. Even though it rained very hard one day, we had the rare opportunity of watching old movies all day and just hanging out. In the evening we sat on the screened in porch which also was a nice place to have breakfast . I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to spend a vacation, and also it has lots of things for kids to do. We plan on returning another time.

Quiet and Peaceful!

Very good vacation house.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, near grocery stores and restaurants and not too far from the Siesta Beach and the Legacy Biking trails. The bedrooms and living room area are very spacious. This is our second time staying at this house, we have noticed that the furniture in the living room was not as clean as it was 3 years ago. It could use a good cleaning. Other than that, the house was very clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and prepare your meals at home. The owners were very pleasant and promptly responded to our needs. I would stay at this house again.

Great value and location. Very clean house, in good working order. Exceeded our expectations. Quiet residential street yet you can walk to grocery store and restaurants. Laundry room, screened porch with table looking onto well manicured large backyard. Recent upscale appliances in the kitchen. Very accommodating landlord, who has anticipated your needs. All this makes for a stress free time. Thank you Nancy. We hope to return.
