We chose this home for its proximity to New College. It is an older home in a very walkable area for exercise purposes. We enjoyed the quirky decor and the record player with lots of albums from my youth (I’m 76). The patio with a view of the water was enjoyable. We will definitely check on its availability when we need to stay in the area on future trips.

This house is perfect if you want a quiet getaway. The house is in a great location for all you want to see and do in Sarasota. Julie was very nice and made for an enjoyable trip!I highly recommend this place!

The house was very cute. We didn't cook much but the toaster worker great. Loved the patio. Very quiet street. Close to many restaurants and places to visit.

I consider this a great find! We were in town for our daughter’s graduation from New College and the hotels were just so expensive! Found this gem that gave us a view of the beach. Three nights cost less than 2 nights of hotel and gave us separate rooms and lots of space. The owner is in the process of fixing up the place in a retro style that we love! Perfectly located close to the college and shopping.

We had a good overall stay and would consider booking this home again. The location is excellent—it’s in a quiet neighborhood with convenient access to downtown Sarasota, Lido Beach, and plenty of restaurants and attractions. The home itself is charming, comfortable, and the patio is a nice place to relax. It was also a great value for the price we paid.The host was very communicative, friendly, and responsive throughout our stay, which we really appreciated.The main reason for the 4-star rating is that we arrived to find the primary bathroom sink had a pre-existing plumbing issue that made it unusable. It took about two days to get fixed, which was inconvenient, especially at the beginning of our vacation. There were also a few other minor maintenance items that could use some attention, but nothing major enough to ruin our trip.Overall, this is a cute home in a great location with an attentive host. If the maintenance issues are addressed, it would easily be a 5-star stay. We’d definitely consider staying here again. Thank you for hosting us!

Absolutely beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The communication was great. Will definitely book again when I’m back in the area.Make sure you schedule an evening to watch the sun set. The neighborhood is very serene, and you can sit on the patio and enjoy it.

Absolutely loved this rental!!! Came for my son’s fall break and it’s was a perfect fit for us! It was spacious, homey, and relaxing all the vibes. Definitely coming back!

The location & cleanliness of the home were great. Kitchen & bathrooms very outdated, cabinet doors broken etc. We were only there for a few days so we ate out, but found the kitchen left quite a bitto desire.
