Quite good

Excellent location. Could do with a really good deep clean. Smelt of musty old smoke. Furniture could do with an overhaul. This could be something special if it was revamped, painted and new shower curtain. However for the price and location you get what you pay for.

Location, location, location!

This is the perfect Unit to stay if you are looking to be on the beach or at a great restaurant within a steps from your door. If you are looking for modern and sleek, this is not for you. The property was adequate but the convinience could not be beat!

Perfect

We've been at Lido almost 20 times in the last 17 years. We've stayed in hotels and many other VRBO rentals. Once we found this place, we never went anywhere else! The location is unbeatable and the owners are wonderful to work with. We've stayed in Both unit A and B, but prefer B. It's not fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. All we could ask for, with manatees off the dock to boot. Praying that Vicki and Ernie continue to rent it for years to come. Hate to think of the massive home that would be built if they sold. Lido is losing so many of the quaint places that make it special..... just check out the latest concrete monstrosity being built on the beach katty-corner from them. LOVE this rental and it's owners!

Great Location

This place is the perfect getaway especially if you want to have minimal driving! a short walk to the beach and a short walk to great stores and restaurants. This was our second year staying at this location, but a different unit and all i have to say is i cannot wait to return again. So much fun.

You know what they say..... location is EVERYTHING

We have stayed in unit A multiple times, but this is our first time in B. One block to the beautiful sands of Lido Key. One block to the famous St Armand's Circle with the shops and restaurants. As always, Vicki and Ernie are amazing hosts. The home is older, so don't expect anything fancy. But we had everything we needed at a great rate for the area. The unit is quaint, comfortable and clean. The beds are comfortable and the dock is peaceful. We plan to stay here for years to come, as long as we are lucky enough to have Vicki and Ernie as hosts!

The location could not have been more perfect. The A/C seemed to only cool one bedroom but the living room and other bedroom were uncomfortably warm. The owner though responsive gave an option to either wait for service at the residence or to leave the key under the mat while away. I wasn’t comfortable with the latter and had activities scheduled so it was never resolved. I knew this wasn’t a luxurious place when I booked it but I was expecting a clean place. However, the house has either a heavy smoke or mold smell, either way it was immediately off putting. Additionally,they were burnt out bulbs, the pillows and couches smelled like old sweat, the recliner was broken, every single skillet had a scratched and chipped non-stick coating coming off. Just basic things that show lack of concern for the property.

Vrbo misled us

We knew the neighbourhood and decided because of the Rating you provided. It was very poorly furnished, Even the silverware did not match, We had to use a coin operated washer, There was a constant mould smell, The air conditioner broke the washer Broke. Worried about the cleanliness we ate every meal Elsewhere. It should never have received such a high rating.

This location could not be more ideal. Walking distance to the beach as well as St. Armand’s Circle. Ernie and Vickie have thought of everything you might need to enjoy your stay. We loved sitting on the dock to watch for manatees!

Perfect location between the beach and St. Armand's

My husband and I had a wonderful time during our 6 night stay in Lido Key. You can't ask for a better location, a nice stroll to St. Armand's and to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable with a seamless check-in process. And the owners were kind enough to accommodate a last minute change in plans for us. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice house right smack in the middle of the beach and St. Armand's. We also caught some beautiful red snapper off the dock!

The house was in the perfect location. We were able to walk to everything - beach, shops, restaurants! The owners were very available for anything that came up (needing quarters, running out of toilet paper). So pleased!

Perfect Location

You can't beat this location. We come yearly and this was our favorite spot so far! We can't wait to stay again. The only negative is sharing a washer and dryer with the other 2 units as it is hard sometimes to get it done. You also have to have quarters to use them which we did not have at first. The house was clean and just as pictured. Perfect walking distance to beach and the circle and it is so nice having all of the beach amenities in the garage at our use. Would definitely stay here again!

Location, Location, Location

The house is a modest, clean house with a wonderful location. You can walk one block to the beach and one block the other way to the shopping and restaurants. The interior of the house was nice. The king size bed was comfortable and the 2 couches were in good shape. They had bicycles for us in the garage. They also had beach chairs and a beach buggy to carry your stuff in that was nice even though it is on its last leg. Beach towels were also available. The internet was good and the cable had all the channels you would hope for. The dining table does only have 4 chairs. We would stay there again.

Just the BEST!

We stay on Lido every Thanksgiving, but this house was our absolute FAVORITE. From the price point, to the amazingly convenient location and the wonderful owners, this house will NOT disappoint. If you love the beach, St. Armand's shopping and dining, or sipping your morning coffee on the dock while watching manatees frolic, this house is for you! Park your car and leave it for your entire stay! We will be back as fast as we can! Thank you Ernie and Vicki!

Amazing location

The location could not be more perfect. We did not need our car and biked to everywhere. The beach was barely a block away and restaurants an equal distance the other way. The home was neat and clean and the owners were very nice. We loved the place so much we can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic hidden gem!

Perfect location between the circle and the beach entrance. I felt comfortable that my teen girls could walk around. Shops and eateries are still open and serving cautiously during COVID. Comfortable accommodation without being pretentious -just like the OLD FLORIDA I remember as a child. Ernie and Vicki are the BEST and provided far more than most places would ever. This is our 7th year of coming to LIDOand this is by far our favorite place to stay. Already planning our next stay!
