  • This cozy beach condo has been updated and features a lovely open floor plan, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms as well as a lanai ideal for enjoying quality time together after a fun day at the beach. The outdoor closet offers beach chairs, a beach cart, beach umbrellas and toys for the littles ones to enjoy. Everything you need to complete your ideal beach getaway, can be found at Runaway Bay!

    Runaway Bay is a bayfront complex that is less than a 1/2 block away from the beautiful beaches offering you all of the conveniences you would want in an island stay. Runaway Bay is rich in amenities - tennis, heated pool, shuffleboard, kayak launch, BBQ area, and fishing pier . Free trolley service allows you to enjoy all the activities up and down the Island. Many shops and restaurants are close; no need for a car.

    ​​​​​​​The fully-equipped kitchen has all the appliances you need to prepare a quick snack for the family or a romantic dinner for two, which you can enjoy either in the dining room or on the balcony. The living room invites you to relax, kick-back and enjoy your favorite TV shows on the flat screen smart TV. There is also a full-size washer & dryer in the unit as well as WiFi throughout. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom and flat screen TV. The guest room features 2 full-size beds and flat screen TV.

Highly recommended!

The unit was very nicely decorated, Runaway Bay Resort is a great location, close to a private beach on a beautiful Sandy Gulf Beach. They also provide a well maintained pool. We would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a get away, check this location out.

Our second time in this condo and it's still amazing!

Our condo was amazing! It's very comfortable and the kitchen is well supplied with cooking utensils. The location is very convenient to anywhere you want to go on the island. This was our second time staying in this condo and we plan to do so again. Having a close access path to the beach is very nice! This condo is also close to restaurants and a grocery store.

We enjoyed our stay! The condo had everything thing we needed. Barbecue place SMOQEHOUSE next to condo was very good. The pool was nice and short walk to the beach. Trip to Two Scoops ice cream and The City Pier with live music was the best. It really helped having access to beach umbrella, sand toys, cooler and chairs. Lots of memories around the big dinning table. Thank you!

Definitely our condo of choice next time!

Sweet Freedom at Runaway Bay is a great place to stay. It's our second time in this unit. It's close to food, shopping and the trolley stops. The unit is very clean, has many updates and rooms are large. Check in and check out were easy. It had everything we needed for our stay, along with all the beach items you'd want. The unit is about a five minute walk to the beach. The wagon makes it easy to take what you need. This is definitely our condo of choice when we visit AMI.

Great location we walked almost everywhere! The pool area is great! Nice tennis and pickleball court my husband played twice. Our unit was very nice it looked like the kitchen and main bathroom had been updated the only thing that may need done is either updating bedroom furniture or painting it which would be easy with wicker furniture. The response time for our tv issue was great and found out it needed a new remote which they were able to replace on the spot . Thank you so much for everything

Runaway bay room 237 review. Short version

Unit needs deep clean. You pay good money for cleaning. In cabinets , sauté pans were very greasy and sheet pans rusting. Owner needs to know. Is a dated unit with some upgrades. Lock battery needed changing while there. Management t “ does it all “ to make sure u r happy tho. Beds are SOFT. Need new mattresses Am only being honest. Owners very nice. All people very nice Just should get a good deep clean as hair was everywhere. Can not blame owner for that. Next time would like another unit. MD

Great Condo

The condo was a great location. Easy walk to the beach. Trolley stop right out front. Condo had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with all items needed to prepare meals. Very clean and everything we needed for the beach was available in the unit. Easy check in and out. Assigned parking made it easy to come and go. Very disappointed the pool was closed for the entire week. Having a pool available on our vacation is important to my family.

Sweet Freedom at Runaway Bay

Excellent place to enjoy the island. Couple minute walk to pool, bbq, beach, intercoastal, and free trolley stop. Condo is setup nice with everything you need for a trip to the beach, pool, or fishing. Plenty of nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, beach cart, cooler, boogie boards, skim board, and fishing gear. Nice tv's with Roku's. Beds are comfy. Kitchen and baths are nice and modern. Seabreeze is a cute condo, one of the nicest we have stayed in. The Property Manager was responsive when we called with questions. The location was great. A great place for the week.

Highly recommended

Beautiful condo. Perfect location. Everything close and within walking distance. My only complaint- Master bed is very uncomfortable. Other than that the condo is absolutely perfect.

Great, well equipped, well located place!

We had a wonderful time in Anna Maria and loved this condo. Perfect for what we needed. Had everything— including all the beach stuff and even plenty of paper towels/tp! Great location—nice pool, tennis-pickle ball court, and across the street from beach access. Very close (easy walk) to several restaurants. Rental company was great with communication. Highly recommend!

Clean and beautiful condo

Condo was perfect for our stay. Myself, husband and 4 young adult/teens. We brought an air mattress. Great location. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping. Took the monkey bus home from bridge street one night and that was a riot! Kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans/bowls…everything you need to cook meals. Full size washer and dryer were great! Games/puzzles/books for downtime at the condo. Condo provided small dish soap, trash bags, laundry detergent which was very nice to have….didn’t realize so I had brought my own. Didn’t use the pool at all. Pool gets crowded. We went to the beach …access is right across the street. Tennis courts were fun; you must have equipment. Found a basketball court not too far away (5 minute drive) at herb Dolan park…we brought our own basketball. Ventured to the north end of the island and the beach sand was smooth (no shells). No beach chairs provided so bring your own. We just used our beach towels. Condo provides one beach towel and one regular towel set(bath, hand, washcloth) per guest. Bring additional beach towels—-if you are sitting on towels at the beach, you want to have a towel to dry off with that isn’t full of sand. Overall, great condo! Loved our stay!
