Water is heated by solar panels, all lamps are LED and the trees and plants are watered with rainwater and spring water from the two wells on the property. The water used in the outdoor shower is reused for tree irrigation and contributes to the growth of pasture for the sheep. The house is located on the outskirts of the village, a few kilometers from the wonderful beaches all in the heart of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentina Coast Natural Park: 15km from Vila Nova de Milfontes, the mouth of the Mira River and Furnas, 17km from Porto Côvo and its beaches, which you can always visit along the coast on the road that leads to Sines. There are also many other beaches you can enjoy in the region: Malhão, Aivados, Ilha do Pessegueiro, Almograve, Zambujeira, etc. In Cercal and throughout the region you can savor the gastronomy and enjoy the wonderful natural landscapes and trails of the Rota Vicentina.
