Step away from the hustle of everyday life and into the calm of this secluded country cottage—a peaceful hideaway nestled among majestic 200-year-old oak trees. Located just 5 miles south of downtown Santa Rosa and 2 miles north of Sonoma State University, our private studio offers the best of both worlds: complete tranquility and easy access to local wineries, restaurants, and attractions.

This charming studio cottage is set 100 yards from a private gate, ensuring total privacy and serenity. Large windows at the front and back frame breathtaking views of ancient oaks and fill the space with natural light. Inside, Buddha statues and thoughtful decor create a soft, meditative atmosphere—perfect for relaxing, recharging, or simply enjoying the moment.

The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with a full stove and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, and Keurig coffee maker. You’re welcome to collect fresh eggs from our free-range chickens for your breakfast. The private bathroom includes a washer and dryer with detergent provided. (Please note: there is no bathtub, only a walk-in shower.)

Our deep well provides clean, fresh water free from chlorine and fluoride—something our guests often appreciate. In the bright and cozy living area, you'll find a comfortable sofa and a peaceful space to unwind.

The space was super cute and cozy. After 9 days of camping in a row, this was a really nice break for a couple of days before heading back into the woods for more camping. We are not city people, though visiting the city is fun for short time, we loved the location of this property. Quiet, safe, tranquil and somewhat secluded. The host was friendly and the checking in and out experience was very simple. Would definitely stay again.

Now I know why this home gets such good reviews. Stayed here on a quick business trip to Santa Rosa. It's a small place--everything except the bathroom is in one room--but very clean, new, and well-appointed. I especially appreciated the fancy Japanese toilet with the heated seat. :-) Fresh eggs from the on-site chickens was a nice touch, and home had everything I needed. Jesse was very helpful and communicative. Area is lovely and quiet. Note that there is nothing within walking distance, so a car or uber is a must. Would stay again!

Very nice cottage about 10 min out of Santa Rosa. Quite fenced property with private gate. Cottage is small but nicly laid out for two people never felt cramped. There is another larger home on the property for a bigger family. Another couple was staying in the other home but we never felt infrindged upon. Fresh eggs in the fridge as a welcome surprise. Cottage has a full size stove. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small but still had a good size shower. Best thing heated toilet seat with bidet want to get one at home now. Host kindly sent my Apple charging cord that I left back to us very timley. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Wine Country Cottage

In addition to being spotless, comfy, and situated in a peaceful, beautifully landscaped setting, this cottage had everything we needed. Our hostess was so friendly and even left us fresh eggs. We were close to parks, restaurants, and wineries, too. Five star!
