Our much sought after first floor larger 2 bedroom corner unit is located in the 500 Building (Unit 511) and provides a great view of the Gulf, sand dunes, Eastern Lake and boardwalk entrance from our living room/patio. NO busy road to cross or steps to climb!! Approximately a 2 minute walk to the beach. Beach chairs are available for your use at no additional cost with this unit.
The condo has a master suite with king-size bed. The second bedroom has two twin over full bunk beds. If travelling with a baby, there is a pack and play (72 hour advance request required).
Cable flat screen Smart TV’s are located throughout the unit. A 40” Smart HDTV with DVD is located in the living/dining room area. A 32” flat screen Smart HDTV TV is located in the master bedroom. A 20” Smart HDTV is located in the second bedroom.
The amenities of our complex, Beachside Villas, includes two outdoor pools (one is seasonally heated), 2 lighted tennis courts/pickle ball, shuffleboard, corn hole game, outdoor grills, party deck on adjoining lake, wash-off showers, and immediate boardwalk access to the most beautiful beach in the world!
Beachside Villas is ideally located away from the crowds BUT very close to so many of the activities that bring people back to this part of the Panhandle year after year. It is located in close proximity to Destin and Panama City Beach- SEASIDE is less than 5 minutes also. You can rent bikes and travel along the beautiful bike paths to charming Rosemary Beach, Seaside, and Grayton Beach. Also, Deer Lake State Park is less than a mile down the beach with hiking trails and sand dunes. Top golf courses are nearby including Camp Creek and Santa Rosa Golf Club.
San Destin resort and the Silver Springs outlets are 20 minutes away. Also, miniature golf, Pier Park, Shell Island and water parks can be found nearby in Panama City or Destin.
For your safety and security and for the property, the home has outside video and audio recording cameras along with carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors and fire extinguishers located within the home.

The place was as advertised, which is always nice. My one nitpick would be all the rules. My wife and I pride ourselves on leaving places as clean, if not cleaner, than we found them. Some of these rules seemed a little heavyhanded, such as don't just put ice cubes in the sink but make sure they are melted. I totally understand the need for rules but that many of them certainly subtracted a little from our enjoyment.

Really enjoyed our stay. Minutes away from action areas the big chill,pickles, shopping just everything you would ask for. Great Gulf view comfortable furniture in den dining room bed n master was amazing beach just a few steps away I could go on and on it just feels good to rent a place and get more than you expected.

Great location

Great location, beautiful neighborhood! Just a short walk to the beach and a short bike ride to all the local shops. We rented e-bikes and that was definitely the best way to get around. Easy checkin process and close parking. We enjoyed the constant ocean view tremendously. Great, clean property.

Solid Value Option on Emerald Coast

This condo proved a solid option for an affordable stay in Seagrove Beach. Located just behind Sugar Dunes, the condo was well-appointed (even umbrellas and great beach chairs), comfortable, clean, and had modern appliances and amenities. The beds were particularly good. The owner made everything easy and provided full instructions (both printed and in PDF) for everything we’d need for our stay in the area. We had two very minor instructional needs, and her responses were rapid and understanding. Staying here gets you a good discount rate on bike, golf cart and equipment rentals, and you’re close to local stores like Publix, without being in the full bore madness of Seaside in peak season.It’s important to understand the beach access rules these days. Coming from places a little more relaxed than this area, I was surprised about how zealously the resorts and residents guard their beach stretches. If you want to so much as a set up a single chair you are in for a bit of a hike up or down the beach, though you can walk or swim anywhere the water is actually breaking. This condo is located very close to the public boardwalk to the beach, which helps, and the owner helpfully “translated” all this in a series of provided maps. It’s nothing against the property at all, and I’d argue the condo represents a good intersection of value and access, but just bear this in mind if you have mobility or endurance issues.I’d stay here again. Thanks for the lovely experience, owners.

Clean and good location

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. Good location and space. We enjoyed using the chairs and umbrella. Please notice that you will have to bring or buy everything you need, including toilet paper (there was only enough for one day), soap, and beach towels. Also, the listing did say there was a hot tub, and there was no hot tub on the property, which the owner apologized for. There was a lot of unnecessary info that was sent out before we arrived, and a folder of info at the condo, but more concise, helpful info would have been better. Overall, good place, but plan to bring EVERYTHING you need.

Condo is small (can technically sleep up to 8 but I'm not sure where all those people would put their stuff!) and a little outdated, but very clean! Had a nice view considering it is set back from the beach behind 2 buildings. The beach access was the most disappointing for us. Description says steps from the beach and it is - however, it is only a few steps away if you want to walk on the beach. If you want to sit on the beach you need to walk quite a distance in either direction to the public beach access. The facility does offer shuttles which seemed to work well for others; we have a daughter who uses a wheelchair so the shuttle did not work for us. The owner was very helpful in getting us information on accessible beach access, however it did require us to drive to the accessible beach a few miles away. The amenities offered at the complex were great - from the beach shuttle to tennis courts, shuffle board and 2 pools (although I only saw one and never found the second).

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The view was better than I expected. However, it wasn’t until 10 days before my stay that I received literature describing “access” to the beach. Unfortunately, the pictures in the posting were deceptive. The picture of the wooden ramp to the beach showed an accessible access to the beach. As a senior with mobility issue the illusion of access to a beach was enticing. When I received literature from Joy it indicated access to the beach involved a “detour” to the small public beach a block away. I was very disappointed. In summary, the condo itself was very nice, the beach access was not.

Extremely Limited Beach Access

When we arrived, the warm condo smelled of wet dog and dog urine. Later when we tried to lay down for sleep, we found sand in the bed sheets. The owner did not respond to our texts for hours, until she asked whether we wanted the housekeeper to come. We said yes since we were not allowed to change bed sheets ourselves, and the unhappy housekeeper came next morning and spent an hour changing them. The most important inaccuracy of the listing is the beach access. The dry part of the beach by the condo is private, so you must walk 5-10 min on the steep wet area of the shoreline to reach a public beach which is very small. A guard stays on the beach near the condo to ensure no one uses it. You can access the water, but not leave any items on the beach itself. If you want to set up on the beach (aside from the very small east one) it would require a bike or car ride to another local and public beach. Other problems that the owner ignored when we texted were showers that were out of hot water after 10 minutes, no hot tub on the property as listed, A/C is locked at 70 and cannot be lowered, and toiletries such as soap, garbage bags, laundry soap, and toilet paper are exceptionally small to accommodate only 1 day for a family. Overall the condo is uncomfortable, sparsely furnished, and without easy walking beach access, so it is definitely not worth returning when there. Do not recommend.

Beach Access!

I chose this property because of the easy access to the beach. My sister is 72 and has bad knees and IBS. After we had booked the property I called the host to ask about a company that will set up chairs for us each morning. I was told that we couldn’t use a setup company because we couldn’t sit on the beach! If I hadn’t called her about the setup we wouldn’t have known this ahead of time. There is a guy there that told us we would be arrested if we sat our chairs anywhere on that beach. I just think it shouldn’t be advertised as 2 steps from the beach. We were able to go after 5 and watch the sunset in the evenings.

Perfect spot!

This condo was perfect for our family of 7! Just steps to the beach, walking distance to coffee shops, located in a nice neighborhood, and the amenities and heated pool were perfect! The host was also incredibly kind and quick in helping us!

Great experience

This condo was very true to its listing. The beach is only a block away and the beach is beautiful. The beach is public access but was not very busy and easy to get to. The property had everything we needed including beach toys, games, soaps and etc.

Excellent Property

This property was everything as described. Our family thoroughly enjoyed a nice relaxing vacation here. The beach was incredible and it was so nice having it just steps away. Our kids loved playing tennis and pickle ball. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay in Santa Rosa. Our condo was beautiful! The beach was only steps away. It was quiet and peaceful which is just what we wanted. The only disappointment was we could barely see the ocean from our condo. The description of condo stated there was a panoramic view.

Beautiful Condo just steps from the beach!!

Our family has the best week on vacation. The condo was everything advertised and more!! The condo is just a few steps away from the beautiful white sand. We had no problem finding a spot on the beach in front of the condo everyday. We will definitely be coming back for another stay.
