This was the ideal place to spend a few days. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Close enough to trails that you can get a nice stroll in before starting your day. Quick drive to the main plaza and everything else. The house is pretty spacious, cozy, and has everything you need. John even brought over fresh pastries one morning! Even the shower was terrific. Truly enjoyed my stay!

What a wonderful peaceful setting John’s.casita is! Nestled in a beautiful neighborhood full of walking opportunities, gorgeous views, dark skies with trillions of stars…anxiety literally drips off of you. Casita was spotless and had all the amenities one would need. Great private deck with bbq-was just a wee bit too chilly to try the bbq but could imagine a great meal out there when warmer! John was a super host and from the minute meeting him you know he is a good soul and kind man. Altitude hit me harder than normal so we spent more time at the casita than planned-being in this beautiful setting made up for that!

The directions to the property were spot on. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Quick drive to the plaza and other sites.The accommodations were exactly as depicted. Comfortable, spacious enough for the two of us. Loved the extra touches, snacks, coffee, wine, croissants the first morning. Comfortable bed. Enough hot water for our showers. The parking spot is steps from the casita. John is a kind, responsive host. Would love to return here if we make it back to Santa Fe. Thank you for your hospitality.

Super comfortable and welcoming! Perfect for the two of us and our large dog. The walking trails just behind the house made it really easy to walk our dog. We loved using the sauna and enjoyed all John’s special touches like the wine, coffee, and fresh baked pastries! Would definitely stay again!

The Casita was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities you could ask for. It was nestles in a quiet neighborhood in the hills close to both the center of Santa Fe as well as a short drive to Santa Fe National Forest.we found this to be in a perfect location. We will definitely book again!

John's Casita is a great place to stay. My wife and I loved it and being pet friendly just made it perfect. The location is Great beautiful and quiet. I really can't say enough nice things about this property! The location is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood about 10 minutes from the Plaza. The property was extremely clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A question was answered within minutes. A handy book of instructions and things to know was available as well as brochures for area attractions. There were snacks-a very nice touch-and wine as well. I highly recommend this property!

This is a lovely studio just 15 minutes (walking) from the historic Santa Fe plaza. The owner is considerate and gracious, and the property is comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

This casita was perfect! Starting with the location, not too far from the main city, but far enough away that you have an abundance of nature. Next, the host is on property. He greeted us as we arrived. Then he offered to bake us pastries for breakfast the next morning. WOW! Yes, please! Inside the casita is an array of snacks, coffee pods, a bottle of wine, and 2 bottles of sparkling water in the fridge. Amazing. The bed is super comfy! The shower head is very nice. The TV is huge! And my dogs had the best walks of their lives. So much nature was around us. Our dog met a deer for the first time ever. He was in awe. So were we. John has an excellent property with awesome amenities. Thanks so much!

We had a fabulous stay…every accoutrement was considered. The neighborhood was silent and beautiful, except for the snow, robins and finches! We were treated to surprise foods as well. John even gave my dog Teddy salmon treats! 100 stars!

Excellent accommodations, everything you might need is provided. The host was very available and helpful. The distance to the plaza is only 1.4 miles, but most of that is walking on streets, not sidewalks. So a reasonable walk distancewise, but not really inviting and no need for that to be a headline for this otherwise perfect casita.

John’s casita was perfect for our vacation to Santa Fe. We traveled with our two dogs and had plenty of room. The bathroom and kitchen areas were both spacious along with the living area. John provided snacks and pastries for us - such a thoughtful and kind touch! The neighborhood was beautiful and we felt very safe. It is close to the Plaza and easy to head out to the mountains.
