Beautiful Mountain Views, Beamed Ceilings, 2 Fireplaces

The Guest House on the Hill is on two and a half acres with the owners' home in rural Tesuque, just five minutes from historic downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico. It has a living room with three French doors and an adobe-walled patio, both looking out over the Tesuque Valley to Santa Fe Baldy, Tesuque Peak, and the Santa Fe Ski Basin. There is a large master bedroom with a fireplace and king-size bed, a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a sofa bed in the living room, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The master bath has a tub/shower, and the second bath has a shower.

We are located on 2 1/2 rural acres five miles from the historic downtown Plaza.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BASE RATE FOR TWO IS $150 PER NIGHT. FOR 3 0R 4, THE RATE IS $195. EXTRA FOR MORE. ALSO THAT THE RATE AND MINIMUM STAY VARIES FOR HOLIDAYS. PLEASE INQUIRE.

The owners, George and Donna Amos, enjoy passing on tips for exploring remote Anasazi ruins, mountain and desert hikes, cross-country skiing, museums, art galleries, Indian pueblos and dances, and restaurants. The guest house has a library of books on the Southwest, novels, mysteries, and games.

Very cozy place with everything you need such as shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer which I didn’t use since I had my own. Beds were comfortable and Christmas decorations were very inviting and cheerful. Plenty of hangers for our clothes which was nice. (We’ve been places before where that only had a couple of hangers and the wire ones from the laundry places). The kitchen had everything you need too so did the laundry room. No need to bring logs for fireplace, there is plenty. Nice view from the patio.

What a gem! I knew this would be a great stay from the moment we walked in to find music playing, lights on, and special treats left by the host. The place felt homey and very comfortable . My favorite thing was the wood fireplace that we took advantage of every evening. Fantastic host!
Smart TV - we brought our own firestick from home to watch Netflix.
Fully stocked with lots of extra blankets, pillows, and towels.

We love this property. Secluded and private area north of Santa Fe but only a few minutes into town. Donna is an excellent host. Very responsive. Just down the road there is a great bar/ restaurant called Teseque Village Market and El Niño next door is more upscale with an excellent bar.

Perfect Getaway

The place was a perfect getaway just outside of the crowd of Santa Fe. The listing pictures are accurate, but cant do the view from the property justice. It was beautiful! We loved coming back and relaxing after a day of exploring. The house was stocked and had everything we could have needed.

Beautiful views

The house is tucked away off a short gravel road with absolutely beautiful views. We really enjoyed spending time out on the patio each morning and evening. Getting into town was quick and easy. Donna, the host, was right next door and was extremely helpful and gracious.

Wedding at Four Seasons

This was a great place to stay as we were so close to the Four Seasons. We were also right down the road from Tesuque Village and loved eating at Tesuque Market. The home was nice, quiet and comfortable!

Relaxing Retreat

We truly enjoyed a relaxing few days in the hills outside Santa Fe. Great location, cozy home, lovely views, and friendly host. Our favorite part of our stay was reading by the fire at the end of the day. I would definitely stay here again if we travel back to Santa Fe.

Tesuque casita stay

In spite of the stormy weather that took out power for five hours, we had a lovely stay at Donna’s rental. To wake up with a stunning Mountain View in the quiet area was so special.The casita had classic regional touches which enhanced the space. Easy meal making in the kitchen, airy front room with a fireplace we used, charming bedrooms, and nice sized closets. Shower spray is adequate, but could use upgrades. Tesuque is lovely lovely as a base. Donna was very responsive. We’d love to come back!

Our retreat in Tesuque

Authentic Northern New Mexican home in the hills. Comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms. Good for our happy trip with our adult Granddaughter. Very well stocked kitchen helped to make our stay comfortable. Of course we brought our own foods, especially for breakfast. Dark skies for viewing at night. Very nice owner.

Fabulous views and cozy stay in an adobe home

We enjoyed this property very much! There is a nearby trail onto the ridge that was fun. Also some visiting wildlife. We were grateful to be able to build a fire one evening that upped the ambiance.

Cozy Southwestern Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, cozy cottage. The views from the house were breathtaking. This was our first time visiting Santa Fe, and it surpassed our expectations. We drove to Taos and Ski Santa Fe on two of the days. Our hosts were hospitable and kind. This is a great place for relaxing getaway.
