Pearl Beach House is a newly remodeled two-story home with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and new cabinets in the kitchen. Lovely skylight with mood rope lighting, under-cabinet lights, and pendant light add to the lovely evening relaxation mood for your enjoyment. The home has everything a person would expect in a lovely vacation home. Three flat screen TVs, radio/CD player, Wi-Fi game/puzzle table, foosball game, table tennis, basketball, four adult bikes & one kids bike, beach chairs & umbrella, beach blanket, rolling ice chest, skim board, boogie board, adult & kids books, and child & adult games.

The home has a second story balcony where you can see the Santa Cruz Boardwalk roller coaster, log run, and other attractions. The San Lorenzo River and also the iconic train bridge over the San Lorenzo River meeting the famous Santa Cruz Boardwalk can be viewed from this deck. The home is a ten minute walk to the Boardwalk and Santa Cruz Beach; you do not need to drive and pay for parking. There is also a nice playground/park within a 5 minute walk. This park has swings, slides, a climbing apparatus, basketball court, and a large lawn area for your enjoyment. The river bike/jogging paths, on both sides of the river, are just a 4 minute walk away. Enjoyment activities are within walking distance; no driving is needed.

This lovely home has the master bedroom with its own small deck on the upstairs floor. This bedroom has a queen bed and a flat screen TV. The upstairs floor also has a cozy sleeping/reading nook for children, the kitchen, dining, and family room. The upstairs bathroom has a beautiful tile shower and granite counters. One downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and the other downstairs bedroom/game room has a large flat screen TV and Hollywood bunk. The downstairs bathroom has a tub with tiled shower, and granite counters. Additional sleeping in living room has Queen Futon.

There are two outdoor relaxation areas. The upstairs deck has a patio table and comfy chairs. This view deck also a gas BBQ and umbrella.

Parking for two in driveway (do not block sidewalk). Garage is not available for parking.

Location a little sketchy with several undesirable type motels very close. Noisy neighborhood at night.Convenient location to beach/boardwalk.Listing said onsite parking but there isn’t any.The carpet was damp,soiled and smelled musty. The sofa has stains. The pillows are old and stained! (Glad we brought our own. The back yard was very unkept and had rotten wood on a deck. The patio furniture broken and torn. With just a little attention this property could be as nice as the photos lead you to believe. Kitchen was very clean and well stocked with plenty of dishes. The towels and bathrooms were clean.

We came to Santa Cruz for my son's wedding at Dream Inn. My whole family flew in from everywhere and rented a home. When we walked in it was VERY MUSTY and my son has asthma and started getting a reaction. Since my other kids rented homes near by he stood with one of them. I had no head to start looking for another place since our traveling was a nightmare with canceled flights. The upstairs shower filled up wit water as you took a shower. The fire alarm was not connected. The couch was dirty so we didn't want to sit.

A perfect place to enjoy Santa Cruz

We used this as a base for seeing many sights that Northern California has to offer. We also had lovely Christmas dinner and new years celebration. Very comfortable with room for kids to play and grownups to visit.

Great trip with teens

Took a girl scout troop of (6) 16/17 year old girls. Location was perfect for the scouts to walk to nearby restaurants and the beach/boardwalk. Everything in the house worked great! Scouts were able to cook meals and the kitchen provided all the tools they needed. Kitchen windows have views of the beach and boardwalk. Management company was super kind and helpful. One of the best service experienced. Great place and excellent location. Highly recommend.

Multi-generational Extended Weekend Stay

This property was perfect for our multi-generational extended weekend stay. It was very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. We appreciated the off street parking. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. There were plenty of activities to keep the grandsons entertained. They enjoyed being able to see the lights of the boardwalk from the balcony and then taking the short walk to spend the afternoon there. The layout of the house was perfect with the 2 younger generations sleeping downstairs and we grandparents sleeping upstairs. We were very pleased with this VRBO.

Great Family Place

4 adults and 3 teenagers/children had a wonderful vacation! The house is clean and kitchen/family room is exceptionally nice for large families. Was initially concerned that neighborhood was a little sketchy but it was perfect in terms of proximity to boardwalk and beach and we had no trouble at all. Thank you, Bailey’s!

Just what we needed

This is a spacious, clean, and comfortable home that fit our needs. Great views of the boardwalk and a short walk to it. Beats paying $30 for parking. Nice quiet neighborhood. There is PLENTY of room in this home. Large kitchen and lots of seating in the TV room. The only mistake we made was we were so busy we were only there to sleep. I wish I had more "downtime" to relax in this home, but there's always next time :)

Perfect family vacation home

We had the pleasure of staying here for a week and really enjoyed this home. It has a large open living area. Lots of comfy seating. Lots of games and books. Feels homey. The large kitchen has a new fridge and all the serve ware you'll need. The upstairs deck is awesome with a view of he boardwalk and river. The back yard is lovely. Location is good. I would definitely come back here.

Sweet little cottage

My family and i had a wonderful time hangout out this sweet cottage in Santa Cruz. Its the perfect distance from the boardwalk so you can get there without driving. But far enough away so you dont have to hear the rides going all night. The house is very clean and stocked with lots of kitchen amenities to use. There is also lots of extras in the grage to use at the beach so you dont have to bring or buy stuff if you have forgotten it. We loved this house!!

Nice home close to the Boardwalk. Very spacious and clean. Kitchen is fabulous. Only issue was the bunk bed in the downstairs bedroom, it needs repaired as the bottom bed is broken and very squeaky.

Great price for the location

The property was clean and well stocked, a great location, being walking distance from the boardwalk. The only downside to this property was hot horrible the beds were. All the mattresses felt like they were about 50 years old, which made for pretty poor sleep. I probably wouldn’t stay here again for that reason, but would if the mattresses were updated!

great location

the neighborhood was very peaceful, property was clean the refrigerator was being replaced we was notified just before checking in but they had a backup in the garage. The property management was great easy check-in easy directions and was really close to the boardwalk and other excursions. Would rent again.

My son’s 18th birthday

We celebrated my son’s birthday with some of his friends in Santa Cruz at this house. The location was great. The rain kept them from going to the boardwalk but the bikes at the house kept them entertained. No small feat for 18 year olds. There was plenty of room for them downstairs. The house is older but in comparison to Santa Cruz homes it is very nice. Also very clean. This is also my second experience with the rental company, Bailey Property Management. They are very professional and run a smooth operation.

Excellent get away near the boardwalk

The house has everything you need for a large group vacation. It was professionally clean and put together upon arrival. We were not able to use the bicycles in the garage, but there are enough for 8 or more riders. Plus points for the ping pong table! The backyard is cute and was a great place for us to hangout when it wasn't raining. We stayed in most of the weekend due to heavy rain and had a great time cooking and entertaining ourselves using the many amenities the house had. We did go out for a bit during a lull in the rain for a walk across the railroad bridge and down the San Lorenzo Trail. Good location. Our neighbors were very friendly and we had a good introduction with them when we checked in. Lastly, Lisa (the property manager) was always there when we needed her for any questions or concerns. She was very communicative and it was easy to contact her, despite difficulties from the recent storms and flooding in parts of Santa Cruz County. Thanks for the great stay. We will be back.
