This is a beautiful lodging. It is bright and spacious, very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the books and laminated pamphlets on shells and history of Sanibel. The staff at the condo community office were friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for dining and bike rental. The office had a good supply of books and games to borrow as well. One tiny suggestion: we arrived about 1 AM and it was not clear from the assigned parking spot where our rental unit was. We made use of cell phone flashlights to scout around and ultimately found the proper door. If you are arriving after dark you might in advance ask VRBO for explicit directions to find the rental.But now that we could find it on our own in the dark, we hope to return. It’s a wonderful spot.

Our accommodation could not have been better. The overall condo was spacious and clean, the kitchen was well outfitted, and the beach was an easy 9-10 minute stroll without having cross a road of any kind. The host had quality beach chairs from which we enjoyed sunset. A two thumbs up!!

The stay itself was actually fun overall—overpriced, but enjoyable. I was staying on a work/self vacation, I was still on call and expected to be reachable and able to return home as needed.Unfortunately, the entire experience was overshadowed by a complete lack of support and accountability. The Yale keypad accessing the condo wasn’t “in working order” at one point, a member of Blind Pass had to help me enter through a back door would not work—yet I was told he could not assist further and that I needed to contact management. I did. Repeatedly. No one responded.The situation escalated on my checkout day at 10:30 PM, while I was packing my car to leave for a 3:00 AM flight. The door locked, and I was locked out of both the condo and my car, with all of my belongings inside, including my ID and car keys. I was forced to sleep on the back porch using a couch cushion as a blanket.Because my ID was locked inside, I attempted to extend my stay so I could resolve the situation. I received no clarification or response until around noon, at which point I was essentially told that the incoming guest was more important than resolving my emergency—despite the fact that I missed my flight entirely due to the lack care. Not to mention my card was charged before I was aware I was going to be charged

The place was well laid out, and the furniture and artwork were of high quality and fit the location. We really enjoyed easy access to the wide open non-crowded Bowman's Beach. The staff at the office were quite friendly and helpful. We would return to this place in a heartbeat.

It was great condo. Nice short walk to beach. Short drive to restaurants and shopping. Only problem was the No See Ums were BAD no matter what time of day and even bug spray would not keep them from biting or off you.
