This end-unit, two-bedroom townhouse features a spacious living area that is perfect for families or enjoying as a couple! Lake Palms is approximately a 13-minute drive to the Sanibel Lighthouse Beach & Fishing Pier and is just a few minutes to the Heart of Sanibel where you will find an abundance of restaurant options, and boutique shops, and more - easily accessible by bike or car!     Nestled in the trees, this 2-story townhouse features two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a screened-in porch overlooking the lagoon leading to Tarpon Bay. This is a nice, quiet, central location within walking distance to the Library, Historical Village & Museum, The Sanibel Bean, Island Cow, and many other restaurants and shops. Lake Palms is also within walking distance to Sanibel's Seasonal Farmer's Market (October - May), a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Lake Palms 1 offers covered parking, additional guest parking, and a dock. During your time at this island lagoon retreat, dine al fresco on the lanai looking out over the water, bike to your favorite places, and explore all that Sanibel has to offer. Of course, spending time on Sanibel's powdery beaches cannot be missed. Feel free to use the provided beach towels and beach equipment as you head to the beach - just a short drive or bike ride away. Additionally, Lake Palms 1 is equipped with a washer/dryer so you can easily stay for a month or longer! Book 28 days+

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time in Sanibel in March. The rental unit we stayed at was in an excellent area - close to absolutely everything, but also a quiet area. It was so relaxing to set on the dock and watch the fish on Tarpon Bay. We got to see a Manatee right at the dock. We loved it so much we are planning to go back to the same area next year.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unvacuumed, black mold on shower curtain, deck furniture with note to 'keep inside', no beach umbrella & terribly uncomfortable living room furniture.

Condo stay in downtown Sanibel

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second year we rented this condo for the month of Feb. The location is very convenient to restaurants and stores and has a lovely lake view from the back porches. The condo is getting a little run down: the toilet in the Master BR won't flush without additional water, the tub drain won't close; the stove has burner and broiler problems and the second bedroom's window and screen are ready to fall out. Also a drag you are not allowed to use on grill on the property. They are raising the rent 8% so it is time for us to look elsewhere for value.
