Pack your suitcases and enjoy an unbeatable island vacation in this lovely rental on the Gulf of Mexico. You'll enjoy all that Sanibel Island has to offer, and great amentities right at your unit.

Sundial Q401 is a lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath view condo on the top level of the Q-building at the Sundial East condominiums. This popular building in the Sundial complex features its own outdoor heated swimming pool (currently under construction), beach access, bbq grills and elevators (which are operational)..

Enjoy water views of the Gulf of Mexico from the comfort of this beautifully appointed condominium, where you can enjoy time as a couple or a family. No detail has been overlooked in this spacious, elegant home away from home.

The living room features two plush sofas and club chairs, along with an oversized Smart TV and entertainment center. For daytime viewing, a touch of a button on the a remote control operates the 3 sets of living room blinds.

The dining room seats 6- 8 comfortably, and it is part of the living room area. It has access to the screened lanai, which has a dining table for 4 and 2 side chairs with ottomans from which to enjoy the serene colors of sunrise and sunset. A built-in wine captain and bar is the perfect spot to mix cocktails, enjoy a victual or wine with your favorite music or television program, sunset or dinner.

The fully-equipped kitchen has a French door refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, refrigerator, range, microwave, and a breakfast bar with seating for 3. In addition to cookware and bakeware, a Keurig Duo brew (drip and K-cup) system is provided for coffee lovers. The laundry area is adjacent to the kitchen, and detergent is provided for you.

The primary bedroom has a King bed, an oversized club chair and ottoman, a Smart TV, plush carpeting and sliding doors leading to the lanai. In addition, there are remote control privacy blinds if you like to sleep in late, as well as a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with dual vanities and a custom shower.

The guest bedroom has a King bed, oversized dresser, Smart TV, plush carpeting and ample closet space. It is adjacent to the guest bathroom, which is shared with the 3rd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom is set up as a quiet space, with an oversized Queen sleeper sofa, seagrass ottomans, dresser and Smart TV. It is adjacent to the dining area.

Q401 has its own stack front load washer dryer, and laundry detergent is provided for you. Q-401 also has a covered parking space that is immediately next to the elevator as well, so move-in day with luggage and groceries is a breeze.

A quick ride down the elevator or beachside staircase takes you to the beach boardwalk by the swimming pool. The pool is currently being renovated, and it will be heated. The pool deck will have bathrooms, tables, chairs, and chaise lounges for your use. A short walk on the boardwalk leads you to the sugar sand Gulf of Mexico beaches, which are famous for their shells, fishing and bird life.

A grilling area is just downstairs, with 3 propane grills available for your complimentary use.

Sundial is centrally located to restaurants, shops, live theater, museums and the library. You can ride a bike, walk or drive with ease.

This Sundial condo is privately owned, and these condo owners are not members of the resort. Guests will have limited access to the resort's amenities.

Guests of Sundial Q401 will have access to:

N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge. Birders come from all around the world, and Sanibel is home to the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum - the only museum in the world devoted to shells!

Perfect. Just Perfect

This condo is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and ideally located. With the elevator right at the parking space, it is easy to move in. With a fully stocked beach closet with chairs, umbrellas, and other beach/pool items, we were able to enjoy the beach immediately upon arrival. We spent a lot of time on the lanai and enjoyed the views, the breeze, and the sunsets. We are looking forward to booking again!

Beach week

We stay at Sundial every summer for our family reunion. We have 9 families that rent condos there to get together from several states. This condo was very clean and nicely furnished. We eat out most of the week so I’m not sure how well equipped the kitchen is for cooking big meals but it was very adequate for the amount of cooking that we did.

Great Location Near the Beach

First impression was that this building was constructed to withstand some serious high winds and heavy rainfall. And during the week Hurricane Elsa developed and gave us a taste of the impact from a Cat 1 hurricane but we felt totally safe and secure in our lodging as we watch the system pass through out in the Gulf of Mexico. We were a party of five, four adults and one youth, and had ample room to spread out and enjoy our stay. The kitchen wasn't huge but adequate for the few meals we actually prepared during our weeklong stay which were mostly breakfasts and a couple of suppers. Other than that, the island is filled with a variety of restaurants to meet almost any taste for good home cooked meals. The beach is a short walk from the condo; about the length of a football field but on a well maintained pathway. We had a great time and are already making plans to return to the same spot next year, if it is still available.

Family/Friends Spring Break

We LOVE Sanibel. We have a lot of families that come to Sundial for Spring Break and this is the condo to stay! We had teens with us and it was perfectly spaced for everyone. Plenty of towels, beach chairs, beds, pools, and more. We will rent this condo again and definitely recommend. We’ve been coming for many years and this unit was by far the best one we’ve stayed in. Loved this place, it’s hard to find a 3-bedroom property on Sanibel but this comfortably fit our family, 1 adult couple, separate adult and 2 kids. The kids loved the Den with two twin beds. Cute property nicely maintained with pretty views of the ocean and beach.

Love Sanibel

I love the Sundial location and have stayed here many times. This condo is spacious and has the storage downstairs with beach items and the parking spot which is great. The condo was pretty dirty when we got there and most of the pots/pans and dishes had stuck on old food on them. If they could do something about the wifi (crazy slow- we had to go to a local business with free wifi to actually use the internet) and gave this place a good scrubbing, it could be nice.

Sensational Sanibel

We love Sundial East. Unit Q-401 is exactly as advertised online. Great view of the gulf. Conveniently located near the elevator. The storage unit had a beach cart, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and other small beach toys. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer I. The unit. Our only issue was with the very slow WiFi connection. We would definitely book this location again.

Nice Oceanfront on Sanibel

Located in the Sundial complex. The unit layout and furniture worked very well with two bedrooms and another space that can be closed off as a third bedroom, which would work well for kids/teens and even my adult son's gaming setup. Nice that they provided beach chairs and umbrellas. Beach view was better than expected given it is towards the back of the building, but it was good. Only withholding one star for slow WIFI. Otherwise, no reservations to rent it again.

This unit has everything you will need for a visit to Sanibel. Very clean and the management had maintenance fix a slow drain the same day we called. Would stay here again - in unit washer/dryer is a real bonus.

Our first time on the island, we will return😍

When we arrived the elevator was down for repairs, waiting on a part. Was finally fixed on Monday but was down again by Friday. So arrival and departure was not pleasant. One set of keys did not work so had to pick up another set. Then the commode in the hall bathroom broke on 7/4. Called and was told no maintenance on duty until the next day but after a little (a lot) of persuading a plumber was called and we were back to two bathrooms. Why does this resort not have maintenance on call 24/7? Not sure we will stay at Sundial again🤔

Perfection in Sanibel!

This was our first time in Sanibel and we loved every second. This condo was perfect for our family of 8. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was steps away from the beach and had all of the amenities needed to make it our home away from home for the week. The pool was great as were the grounds-they were kept perfectly. We found the beds comfortable after long days of exploring Sanibel. There were plenty of bike racks for all of our bikes and the covered parking came in handy on numerous occasions. The elevator did break for the second part of the trip which wasn’t a big deal to us but was a little cumbersome for my parents. This unit had a locker with beach chairs and umbrellas and several beach toys my kids enjoyed using. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place and great service

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo in Sanibel, FL. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. The property management company helped us very courteously and promptly with an issue we had with the stove. The whole experience was very pleasant, and I would recommend a stay there in a heartbeat!
