"We stayed here on our travels and the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The king sized bed was nice. But, for a Hampton Inn, this one needs to be updated with some TLC. Everything was run down from the elevator to the windows and banged up doors and furniture in the room. It was close to a few restaurants and that was convenient. "We really enjoyed our stay at Carnegie House. The property was beautiful and well designed, and it had a warm, homey feeling, partly because of the friendly regulars who made it feel welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very nice. The food was good, the bar was well stocked, and the fire pit was a relaxing place to spend time. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would definitely stay again if I were passing through."

"If we pass by again we will definitely be staying here! Front desk attendant was very accommodating after we found out our AC was not working and moved us to another room. He also gave us vouchers to cover meals up to $30. Unfortunately, with how busy it was having a wedding party there we were unable to get dinner so we had to find food elsewhere off the property Otherwise it was a great stay!"
