Excellent Place

This beautiful home was the perfect place to stay on our weekend getaway. The house was very clean and properly stocked. The view was amazing from in the house and out on the porch. Highly recommend!

We loved the house. Spent 3 nights there. Went to Hearst Castle, Elephant Seal Sanctuary, wine tasting, and shopping in Cambria. It was great. I will be back soon.

Wedding Weekend

Visited for my nephew’s beach wedding and this rental was perfect. My husband and I, my mother-in-law, and my other nephew and his wife stayed here. It was perfectly comfortable. Very great location, tastefully decorated, and right across from the beach. Great views from the living room. You can hear the waves! Would definitely stay there again.

The home was soooo nice! We loved every minute of our “get away”! Conveniently located…but private enough to feel “alone”! Beach was just a few steps away…and I think we even found a moonstone! Don’t hesitate…worth every penny!

Rarely does a rental property description match the actual property. This one is an exception. It is a clean, comfortable, beautiful home in a perfect location. The house is full of useful amenities. The staff at Breen is helpful and responsive. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful waterfront home. The views were incredible, and we made good use of the outdoor deck. Comfortable furniture and roaring fireplace were conducive to relaxation. Steps from the boardwalk across the street—fantastic!

Cambria Gathering

Have stayed at the Moonstone Retreat before. Great place to unwind and enjoy a fantastic residence and view. Location is A1 and the house is fully-stocked so you can relax and enjoy Cambria.

Excellent Location and Great House!

The location of the house is incredible: right in front of the boardwalk with ocean views from the living area and master bedroom, a quarter mile walk to the Sea Chest, a half mile walk to Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill, and a short drive to town. My wife and preschool-age kids had an amazing time! Great hosts, as well. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful house

We had a fantastic time! The house is perfectly located, it was super clean, well equipped, tastefully decorated and the most important thing for us was the amazing view and the sunset! The booking and the check-in was very easy. We definitely recommend this house.

Amazing

This is a good size home. We had an elderly fellow use his walker well. Both of them could enjoy the views while the rest of us walked about. Plenty of bathrooms...lots of cooking supplies and puzzles, games....just a perfect place with "wow" views. You must stay here!!

Wow!

This is a beautiful, modern house in an ideal oceanfront location. Amazing views, wonderful listening to the waves even with the windows closed. The house has been thoughtfully designed and has great amenities including heated bathroom floors. The house was clean (and my spouse is a cleanliness nut). The property manager managed our stay well. We hope to stay again.

Incredible Holiday House

What a very special Christmas for us! We loved our week long stay. Everything was just as pictured and stated. Everyone…my parents, my husband and I, my sister, and our teenager, had plenty of space and room to call our own. The living spaces were large, open, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. We spent time everyday walking up and down the miles of beach boardwalk directly in front of the house. We loved the tide pools and stretch of beach and all the fun we had there. We enjoyed delicious food in Cambria and in the well appointed kitchen, which had everything we needed to help us make a memorable Christmas dinner. We enjoyed ourselves at the Cambria Christmas Market and Lights, and at our Twilight Holiday tour of Hearst Castle but coming back home to enjoy this beautiful house was the best. We loved our time here and will certainly be back.

AMAZING beach house!

Found this wonderful place to stay for a friend's wedding in Cayucos. Perfect location, stunning views of ocean, nice walking trail, clean, and very comfortable. Cambria was a fun area to shop, eat, enjoy the ocean! My husband said this was my best find yet for beach houses. Thank you owner of house for opening up your house to us!

Oceanside perfection

One of the best places we've ever stayed in for a weekend get-together with family. Spacious, beautifully decorated, awesome views, well-supplied kitchen, wonderful gas fireplaces, three nice bedrooms (with the main bedroom the star), stocked with games and puzzles, and right across from the beach. Quite expensive but worth it for a special get-away. We hope to return someday!

Beautiful View and Perfect Location!

This home is one of my favorite properties I’ve stayed at EVER! The house had the most beautiful view of the ocean from morning to evening! The living room, dining room, kitchen, bonus room was roomier and nicer in person. The primary bedroom with its own fireplace and ocean view/door to the deck was such a pleasant surprise. Because it was my birthday, I got to stay in the primary bedroom. If not for that, I think my family would have probably paid off the other for that bedroom. Location was perfect with the boardwalk across the street. Perfect for an early morning or evening stroll. I highly recommend this home. I will def be back!
