  • No Pets Allowed. Located directly on the beach in San Simeon, you will experience unobstructed views of Central Coast California's breathtaking Pacific Ocean, with visbility spanning from the Southern end of Cambria to the historical San Simeon Lighthouse and beyond.

    "Oceanfront Escape" on Balboa, is a spacious four-bedroom, three bath condo that has ocean views from almost every room, with beach access only steps away. It's the absolute perfect spot to sit out on the patio and whale, dolphin, otter - watch and sunset gaze while the ocean breeze lulls you into a whole new level of serenity.

    The entry level of the home has the Kitchen and Dining area, Living Room, guest bedroom with a Queen bed, and a guest bedroom with 2 twin size beds.The upper level of the property features the master suite with a King bed and sliders that lead out to a wrap-around deck, a guest bedroom with a Full size bed and a Trundle bed that has a single bed on top and full size bed that pulls out from underneath, so in all the property can comfortably accommodate 10 guests.
    There are two living room areas, both up and downstairs, each with gas fireplaces, flat-screen televisions, and private oceanfront balconies, providing an unequaled and spectacular view!

    Plan your trip today to include a drive up California's iconic Highway 1 on your way to visit Hearst Castle, (keep an eye out for some of the Castle's resident Zebra herd), visit local wineries, make a stop at Cambria's Famer's Market for the freshest produce around, visit our local gift shops and restaurants and last, but not least, make sure you don’t forget your beach towels! Exterior security cameras cover front door and driveway.

We celebrated our mom's birthday and truly enjoyed sitting on the deck with the ocean only yards away. House was great and scenery was amazing.

Excellent property with four rooms. Right on the beach and 5 minutes from Hearst Castle. We saw elephant seals and all sorts of wildlife. Walked to a wonderful Mexican restaurant. Will be coming back to this property for sure! We loved it!

Wow, what a find. Super clean, fantastic views, wellAppointed kitchen, great location. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning our next visit. If we could give Oceanfront Escape a 10 plus we would.

The house was absolutely beautiful. The house was clean upon checking in but some very stinky socks and a dirty shirt were found in a night stand drawer. Not that big of a deal but it kind of makes you wonder what else wasn't properly cleaned in the house. So we decided to wipe down and disinfect the kitchen and bathrooms just to be on the safe side. The parking situation was also kind of a mess mostly because of the neighbors directly behind the house. A guest of ours pulled up and before I could even walk out to show them where to park the neighbor was already out there telling them they were on their property. Its like they were waiting and watching for it to happen. Aside from those two issues the house and location are incredibly beautiful. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing beach front with stair access to the beach right in front of the condo. Feels like a house, private with amazing views from every window. Quiet, well outfitted with comfortable seating, etc. Wonderful girlfriends get away with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for each of us to have our own. Would definitely stay here again.

Another Awesome Friends' Vacation

Four of my friends and I stayed here for 3 nights for the second time!. It was absolute heaven. Such beautiful views of the ocean and plenty of great places to hike. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed being on the beach. Nice location except for across the way neighbors. Most uncomfortable furniture down stairs but other than that we had a great vacation.

Clean, spacious and accurate

The photos and descriptions was spot on. The condo is clean, simple, welcoming and well furnished. I’d recommend guest bring an Apple TV, Roku or some support if they want to watch a program or game. I’d highly recommend this place and hope to return very soon. Thank you!!

Great views

Lovely and clean two story house with wonderful view of the ocean. Very private with very little nearby, but just a short drive into Cambria. Very small kitchen, and we had trouble with ants.

The proximity to the beach can not be beat.The house has different spaces to gather, which was good for our mixed age group.There are games and beach toys for kids.There was not coffee but there was a coffee maker- so remember to bring yours! Our first night was very cool and we couldn’t figure out how to turn the heat on but we did use the two fire places.Check in/out was easy. Great stay.

It allowed us to enjoy both areas separately as we played games, listen to music or watched TV. Plenty of dishware to use plates cups, forks, etc., which was very helpful. The view was absolutely wonderful! The property management was very attentive when we called about a little hiccup. They came right away and took care of it. If we are back in the Cambria area this is probably a place we would rent again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house accommodated the 5 of us nicely. The kitchen is super small so limited in what you can do. The upstairs family area is great very roomy. The stairs to the beach are terrible. No railing and there was no way for seniors to maneuver them. The location was OK but no really good for walking, again no easy beach access. The parking area is tight forca larger vehicle.
