3 BR/ 2 BA furnished home in lovely quiet San Rafael neighborhood, between San Francisco & Sonoma/Napa.

The home is located in San Rafael’s Sun Valley neighborhood - West End, on the border with San Anselmo, with magnificent canyon views from the living room, dining room and master bedroom. The entire rear of the house features an expansive deck with separate glass sliding doors from the living room, dining room and master bedroom.

The deck outside the master bedroom and the dining room features a wrought iron round table and chairs for morning coffee, dining, drinks, or just enjoying the view.

The front bedrooms, kitchen and breakfast area face a lovely front yard where you can enjoy the wonderful afternoon sun. Our fig tree yields delicious fruit in the fall.

Well equipped kitchen has a cozy breakfast nook, newer four-door stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher and electric range and newer microwave and oven.

Dining and living room with gorgeous finished wood floors. Spacious indoor/outdoor family area with high ceilings, large windows. Fireplace does not burn and is for "Show" only.

Two front bedrooms have hardwood floors and plenty of closet space. They share a remodeled guest bathroom.

Master bedroom has hardwood floors, an ensuite bathroom and large walk in closet. Sliding doors to the deck where you can enjoy views of the open space or enjoy your morning coffee.

Home also features plenty of street parking.

Home has plenty of storage.

OWNERS RESIDE IN SEPARATE, CONTIGUOUS APARTMENT. OWNERS ACCESS THEIR DOWNSTAIRS APARTMENT THROUGH THEIR OWN ENTRANCE.

This is a non-smoking property.

NOTE: Effective Jan 1, 2020, the City of San Rafael began collecting a Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) in the amount of 12% of the nightly room fees and the cleaning fee. ONLY GUESTS STAYING 30 days OR LESS are subject to the City's 12% hotel tax.

Very comfortable home with everything you need. Older kitchen but well stocked with everything you need. Beautiful view of valley and hills and wonderful deck (though we couldn’t enjoy very much due to weather). Comfortable beds and bedding. Great location near San Anselmo & San Raphael, nearby hikes and great shopping/dining. Host Lee is very helpful.

Hilltop house with lovely view

Excellent AC for hot days in August. Wonderful patio view. See the bay from the road in front. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient access to local grocery and restaurants. Beautiful living room.

Spectacular View of the Bay

This property was just as described! Very well maintained and the home accommodated me, my husband and my 2 adult children perfectly. We loved some the retro elements of the home! Our favorite though was the spectacular views from the deck. The deck is very large with lots of seating and views for days. The home had everything we needed and is located right between San Rafael and San Anselmo which was perfect for us. The owner lives downstairs, but we really never saw them. They were super easy to communicate with though! I highly recommend!

Wonderful family visit

The house is very comfortable with a lovely living room that has amazing views. We enjoyed the deck immensely and the location to San Anselmo was perfect for our needs.We are a family of 5 with three young adult children. One of the kids slept on a single mattress in the living room which worked out fine for our purposes. I saw our host a couple of times and he was very kind and helpful.Thanks for providing this lovely home for our stay!

San rafael

Lee is a great host. He gave us some good hikes to explore and a few restaurants as well. The home has an amazing back deck with great views. The house is well equipped and has a great set of pots, pans and all the necessary utensils. It is located in quiet part of town with light traffic.

Beautiful views!

We stayed for a family wedding and the property was great! The morning views on the deck were perfect. The weather was extremely hot but once we figured out the ac the home was very comfortable.

Family trip

We needed a location for a family trip and this was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. Beautiful views from the deck made sitting out with a glass of wine perfect! Lee was very quick to respond to any questions. Only issue that was stressful was figuring out the trash situation and making sure everyone put the trash in the appropriate containers :) Would definitely stay here in the future.

Nice variety

Great property. Nicely equipped. Had several dinners on the deck which offers a wonderful view. We had stayed in Sausalito our previous few trips, and this property provided some nice variety of new restaurants and places to explore.

Beautiful place

A lovely spacious house with fabulous views and sitting areas on the back deck and a small garden in front. Immaculate and well-appointed with kitchen necessities, linens, and seating areas. Easily accessible for wheelchair users. Convenient to San Rafael, Highway 101, and Sir Francis Drake. This was our second stay, and we'll book it again the next time we visit the area.

Bay Area Visit

Great place! Wonderful views, quiet, clean, and in the middle of everything. There’s a ferry to downtown San Francisco that’s 10-15 minutes away (30 min boat ride to the main Ferry terminal), Muir Woods, Sonoma wine country, Sausalito and more all within a short drive. Comfortable beds after long days sightseeing. Thanks Lee!

Great house with a great view

We really enjoyed our short stay in San Rafael. House was lovely, clean & comfortable with lots of space for our family. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck - great view. Would definitely stay here again if we are returning to this area.
