Vineyard Villa in Valpolicella

Valpolicella is known worldwide mainly for the fame of its wines. Thanks to its position and favourable climate, protected by the Alps, viticulture has spread here since the Roman Empire and can boast several varieties of indigenous grapes.
The Valpolicella landscape is adorned with Venetian villas of great value and its beauty is complemented by churches, parishes and ancient houses.

The 'Custodian's House' is located in the heart of the Valpolicella region, surrounded by vineyards, and was originally the home of the caretaker of the nearby Venetian villa, Villa Pule, built around 1630 with its majestic cypress avenue. The Villa is now inhabited by its owners and is located at the centre of the large estate.

ARRIVAL
From the fenced entrance, the house is accessible through a paved road that crosses the private vineyards and leads to the small garden and covered parking. There is also space for two more cars on the property.

LIVING AREA
The Villa boasts an outdoor terrace, as well as a comfortable living room with two sofas, a flat-screen satellite TV and a view of the surrounding vineyards. On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a gas hob, dishwasher and all the necessary amenities to prepare a perfect dinner for your friends or family, there is also a blue bathroom.
During your stay, you can participate in a cooking class or enjoy a dinner prepared by our chef with the typical recipes of Valpolicella, such as Risotto with Amarone, or prepare lunch with the barbecue you find in the garden. The dining room is spacious enough to dine together.
In the fenced garden there is a large table with seating for all guests to enjoy the coolness of the Valpolicella vineyard.

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
On the first floor, the light green master bedroom has a double bed and a bathroom with shower, bathtub and air conditioning.
The light blue bedroom has a double bed, a sofa and air conditioning.
The third bedroom has two single beds and a fan. Opposite it is a shower room with a flush-to-floor shower.

The interior of the villa has a typically Italian style, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the local culture and atmosphere.
In the basement of the house, you will find a room with a washing machine.

Pristine estate and quiet stay

Very clean and seamless self check-in. The property manager site was awesome- answered all my questions immediately and emailed me over a week before the stay with a PDF of property info and area attractions. The house was clean and comfortable and had all the comforts of home- smart Tv, fully stocked kitchen, AC in the bedrooms, clothes washer, parking and WiFi. Killer views too!

Anlage im Grünen, jedoch nicht sonderlich gepflegt

Die Unterkunft war leider nicht sonderlich gepflegt. Es gab Spinnenweben im Haus, es war staubig und es hat gerochen. Insbesondere gab es einen sehr strengen Geruch in der Küche (vom Kamin) und aus den WC Abflüssen. Für hatten ein Bad komplett gesperrt und die Tür verschlossen, damit der Geruch sich nicht verteilt. Im WC löste sic das Fenster aus der Halterung und fiel mir auf den Kopf. Die Gartenanlage war nicht gepflegt. Die Gartenmöbel waren nicht sauber.

Lovely stay at Casa Del Custode

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and surrounded by vinyards. It would be great if the owners can install more mosquito screens as the house has many lovely windows. The AC on the first floor was very much appreciated during the hot days. The road in front of the house can sometimes be a bit busy due to commuters in the morning and evening but during the day it is very quiet. Very nice area to spent your holiday and for enjoying la dolce vita. Very much recommended.

Das Ferienhaus sieht zwar auf den ersten Blick altmodisch aus und man denkt, es sei nicht alles neu, aber das stimmt überhaupt nicht! Alles ist neu renoviert und auf alt gemacht. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Einzig die Mücken haben uns gestört - aber dafür kann ja der Hausherr nichts, der hatte sogar kostenlos Altan zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Objekt hat noch einen Partykeller, der nicht auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Dort gibt es noch einen Kicker und viel Platz. Ich habe einen hohen Standard an Sauberkeit und dieser wurde vollstes erfüllt, es war kein Schimmel, kein Dreck und keine Spinnenwebe zu sehen. Also wirklich empfehlenswert!

Un agréable gîte au milieu des vignes

La "maison du gardien", au milieu des vignes de la Valpolicella, est un très agréable gîte, sans sophistication, mais avec tout le confort et l’équipement qu’on peut souhaiter pour un séjour à la campagne (y compris la climatisation des chambres à coucher). Très propre, bien conçu, avec un accueil à distance efficace, il permet de profiter de la campagne sur la terrasse ou dans son petit jardin bien entretenu. Bref, un gîte à recommander pour qui veut découvrir Vérone ou le lac de Garde. Un petit supermarché est situé à 5 minutes en voiture, ce qui est aussi bien pratique.

Einmalig schön

Wunderschönes und bezauberndes Anwesen in traumhafter Umgebung. Ideal um zur Ruhe zu kommen, sich zu erholen und auch perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge z.B. an den Gardasee, Verona,... Das Haus besticht durch den perfekten Mix aus dem Charme früherer Zeiten und Annehmlichkeiten der Moderne. Der rundum eingezäunte, schön bepflanzte Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein und ist auch perfekt für Urlaub mit Hund. Probleme oder Fragen wurden in kürzester Zeit vom Verwalter geklärt, man fühlt sich auch hier perfekt umsorgt. Vielen herzlichen Dank für die Möglichkeit, eine wunderschöne Zeit hier verbringen zu dürfen.
