Casa Tortuga es una villa de cinco habitaciones con una casa de huéspedes de una habitación adyacente a la villa, para un total de seis habitaciones. La villa de color rosa pálido es de dos pisos, con cinco grandes arcos y terrazas de 60 pies de largo en cada piso. El nivel superior tiene dos habitaciones muy grandes con camas con dosel king. El nivel de la playa tiene tres camas con dosel adicionales y una gran terraza alrededor de la piscina.

La playa tiene un juego de ajedrez gigante de Neiman Marcus. El Rey y la Reina en el juego de ajedrez tienen tres pies de altura, lo que hace que el juego sea muy divertido. Nuestra piscina es la piscina privada más grande de Belice, con una fuente de caballo de bronce de ocho pies de altura de Versalles. En un extremo de la piscina hay una cabina para comer en la piscina. También tenemos 250 pies de frente de playa, en el mar Caribe. Nuestra playa es la más larga de todas las villas en San Pedro.

La casa de huéspedes tiene una cama king en el dormitorio y un sofá cama queen en la sala de estar. También tiene una bañera de hidromasaje y un jardín en la azotea, desde donde se puede ver toda la isla.

Nuestra cocinera y su asistente preparan tres comidas deliciosas para nuestros invitados cada día. Tenemos una porcelana de desayuno, una porcelana de almuerzo y dos patrones diferentes para la cena, que ella alterna. Nuestra cocinera, María, también usa servilletas de lino en todas las comidas y copas de cristal en la cena. Sus presentaciones de comidas son realmente excepcionales, así como sus piezas centrales florales para la villa.

Los guías lo recogerán en nuestro muelle privado para actividades y excursiones. En la noche de su llegada, nuestro guía, Carlos, vendrá a la villa después de la cena, cuando todos estén juntos, y le informará sobre las actividades disponibles en el área.

The whole house is beautifully decorated using mahogany. Location is very convenient to town. We loved the house. The landscaping is filled with flowers. Every meal Haydee and her 2 staff cooked was outstanding. You can easily work with them on times and choices at reasonable cost. They took care of rooms perfectly. Haydee makes things run smoothly. Great ladies. Carlos (per host) will come first night to help with tours. We had a fantastic snorkel tour to Hol Chan by him. Don't recommend Hula Hut close by south of the villa..overpriced. Drinks not great but cute tiki glasses. Pool was beautiful and well enjoyed. Beware sargassam is thick and everywhere. Wind will effect smell but it can be strong. Decaying fumes will tarnish silver jewelry instantly so don't bring any. Go to Secret Beach Mistico for a fabulous day on the beach. Little fish to swim with. We did rent better golf carts right away as we didn't like the ones the host recommended. Lots of speed bumps and pot holes. Especially since you need a really good one for the ride to Secret Beach. All carts are definitely not the same. We used Tsunami, also Coconuts and One Love are good. 45/day final cost. All deliver and pick up at the villa. Blue Water Grill was a favorite. Haydee will suggest good places. If she doesn't know about it don't go.

This is a beautiful property with a lot of character owed to its British colonial appointments. Everything was very clean and well maintained during our stay. The town of San Pedro is easily accessible via the golf carts provided. My family and I enjoyed the pool and had a great experience. Much of the activities such as boating, snorkeling, etc., or accessible from the dock at the nearby Hula bar. We look forward to visiting this property again in the future.

What a beautiful Paradise home and place to stay for my 40th birthday! The staff is amazing and the home is gorgeous!! We where a group of 11 people and also rented out the Pelicans Nest! You felt like you were in a five-star Resort! The staff cleaned your room every day and made sure your fridge was full of drinks. Every morning we woke up an amazing breakfast!!I can't wait to come back again!

Beautiful home overlooking the ocean in a very nice part of town. The house was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We did not have access to the backyard next door due to construction and experienced a fair amount of noise due to construction on a sea wall in front of the property. But, otherwise the property was very clean and well maintained. We were in love in Haydee and her helpers. They were all lovely and very helpful. We ate all dinners and breakfasts at the house as Haydee is a fabulous cook and each meal was a very special experience with beautiful china, placemats and napkins. Her cuisine was better than any restaurant and much more convenient with 4 small children in tow. The staff also cleaned our rooms daily and helped with laundry. We enjoyed our excursions and Carlos was very helpful in arranging these. The golf carts were fun and well worth the price. Our only negative experience was getting lots of bites from sand fleas despite our use of bug repellent.Overall, it was a fabulous trip and highly recommend it without hesitation. Thank you to all.

The home, the grounds, and the staff were spectacular! I would highly recommend a stay at Casa Tortuga. The only issue we had was the heavy sargassum algae on the surrounding beachfront. We called an audible after arrival and spent several days on a boat versus staying at Casa Tortuga.

Casa Tortuga was nothing short of incredible. The house is gorgeous and very well appointed. Chef Haydee & Co. took great care of us, and man, can they cook. We took fishing and snorkeling excursions and we were picked up right off the dock. We had a group of 10 at the house for our 20th wedding anniversary, and all of us can't wait to come back.

A Rare Gem – Casa TortugaCasa Tortuga was truly a rare gem! The property and amenities were absolutely beautiful — everything exceeded our expectations.Haydee, Claudia, and Evelyn were beyond excellent. I cannot say enough about the staff. They were wonderful cooks with the best personalities — attentive, engaging, kind, and genuinely warm. We just loved them. They made our stay unforgettable.Golf carts were waiting for us when we arrived, which made getting around effortless. A tour guide was brought in and gave us plenty of great options for exploring. You can get anywhere on the island by golf cart, and the locals were extremely welcoming. We never once felt unsafe anywhere on the island.Wow — did we ever get lucky with Casa Tortuga! We would absolutely return.

We had the best stay at Casa Tortuga- It’s the best place on the island by far! Haydee, Claudia, and Evelyn were above and beyond- good people, so welcoming and accommodating. Having a dock on site made it so simple to catch the boat to snorkel with Carlos and crew. Walkable to beach bars, restaurants , karaoke, live music and beautiful sunsets. The house was perfect space for 4 couples….we never were w/o a lounge chair, a place to sit, or need of anything. Sunscreen and bottle water by the pool in frig. Plenty of towels. Thank you for a great stay and memorable 50th celebration.

The home was well located, nicely designed and well appointed. We had a chef and helper (Haydee and Evelyn) who did all of the grocery shopping, menu planning (with our help), preparation, setting of tables with a wide variety of place settings and cleanup. They also kept the house clean every day and insured that towels were fresh. It was like staying in a high end hotel. We highly recommend the chef/staff option! Also, during the booking process and leading up to our arrival, the host was extremely responsive to all of our questions and provided many tips including how to navigate duty free for drinks. Given this was our first trip to Belize, it was extremely helpful.

This was the most amazing vacation we've ever had. Our multi-generational family stayed here for 4 nights, and each and every one of us LOVED it. DO NOT miss the opportunity to have Haydee and her staff cook for you. Taking away all the drama of who wants to eat where and which restaurants are really good made this truly a vacation for all of us. Every single one of us LOVED the food. The place was charming and even cooler than it looks in the photos. Haydee and staff were amazing. Carlos helped us out with excursions that were wonderful. We couldn't have had a better time.

The house was very unique which it made it more fun. We loved Haydee and Evelyn who prepared amazing meals! And the homemade pies were incredible!!!! The house was always clean. The location was an easy ride to town. Go to The Hula Bar nearby...so fun!The only negative was the buildup of sargasum that been there awhile, and trash that was in it. It would have been nice if the trash had been picked up.Otherwise, it was a great house!

Casa Tortuga is a gem!!! Peggy was great to work with when we were booking the house. Once we arrived, Haydee and Evelyn were just fantastic. They were so welcoming and helpful every step of the way, and some of the best food we ever had! All 8 of us agreed they made the best food we had on the island. The house and pool were just beautiful, and we lacked for nothing the entire week we were there! I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

The house itself is stunning—beautifully decorated inside and out, and located right on the water with breathtaking views.What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff. Haydee and the team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They prepared delicious meals for us every day, including a special lemon & raspberry cake my wife requested for her birthday, as well as amazing pies on other nights. Every meal was outstanding! Casa Tortuga is a gem. We had a small group of 8 celebrating my wife's 50th Bday. At the end of 4 days, my friends and I were ready to buy the home and extend the stay. Haydee and here team on site took great care of us. Great place to stay!

We have been to Belize several times but this was our first staying on the south side. The house was just as advertised. There were 12 of us and we had plenty of room. Haydee and her crew were excellent cooks! Every meal we had that they cooked was outstanding. As we ate breakfast, they were cleaning our rooms. Whatever we wanted (golf carts, massages, etc) Haydee was able to arrange for us. I would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing vacation and experience for the whole family

So many wonderful things to say about this property, the island, and the incredible staff at Casa Tortuga. Peggy was helpful from day 1 in planning and then Haidee and her team made the arrival and each day a great experience! the food was amazing and creative. there was something for everyone. the pool was perfect and the view was breathtaking. we were able to swim easily from the beach. The teens loved the golf cart flexibilty and we found a nearby bar called Toast that was so friendly, we found ourselves there most nights after dinner for a nightcap, darts and conversation. Looking foward to returning. we had age range from 8-77 and everyone said it would be a must do again!

Belize sailing trip

We came into Ambergris Caye to sail for 7 days and wanted to spend a few days chilling before we left. I fell in love with the home online. It lived up to our expectations in every way. We had Haydee and her assistant cook for us, too. The food was excellent; the house was relaxing and close to town. with the carts, travel back and forth was easy. The only issue was Sara: the storm. We had to spend 2 days in Belize City as the storm closed the ports for a couple of days. we were bummed we missed 2 days of the house. The good thing is we now have a reason to return! Thanks to Peggy, the owner, who was in contact with us every moment and very accommodating. She even had Haydee cook a birthday dinner for me one night. We will be back!

Great spot for our family trip.

We were very pleased with the house, staff and recommendations for tours. The lady’s did a terrific job of cooking and satisfying everyone from our 5 year old granddaughter to the adults. Really great cooks and they also did a good job of cleaning. Carlos set up various excursions and our family enjoyed them all. It was a family trip that created some fantastic memories.
