Condo is well equipped, street level unit has easy entry way and off street parking. This beach getaway is convenient and comfortable. Condo features a partial ocean and pier view from window. Open floor plan, attractively furnished, includes amenities. 1 bedroom furnished with Queen Size Bed. Cookware, dinnerware, large and small appliances. Bed and bath linens provided. Living room equipped with air bed, Cable TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. Lower level and handicap accessible. Shared laundry.

Communication was good and the apartment was clean. It had a kitchenette. Be sure to read the fine print about the other bed. It's listed as a pull out couch, but in the complete description it is an air bed, but it is a very uncomfortable air mattress that moved on the floor, and rocked every time you moved. Not very appealing to senior citizens. I slept on the couch. Also there is little or no insulation between units and we heard every noise especially the children upstairs. Location is good.

Overall, was a great place to stay if you're touring pismo or SLO. We had unit A (bottom floor), had everything youd need to be comfortable. Could use a keurig coffee machine or just walk to the corner café. Only downside was the people who rented the upstairs unit. We could hear EVERYTHING that was going on up there. From the footsteps, to the arguing to the bathroom usage as well as when someone was snoring. Could use thicker blankets as it was pretty cold during our stay.

Great time at the beach!

We loved our stay here! The location can’t be beat. The apartment was well equipped and spacious. The only downside was the very thin walls/ceiling/floor. The upstairs unit had some young boys that ran around and were very loud. I don’t blame the property manager though, that’s on the parents. Luckily, we were mostly at the beach.

The location and condition of this property is great. However, the bed is smaller than listed. Also- In the process of resolving an accidental lockout, communication with the property manager was very uncomfortable.

Avila Beach Rental

Totally enjoyed this unit. Very Clean and conveniently located less than a block from the beach. Quiet and really liked that we had a dedicated parking space. Overall this was a very nice place!

Great Location!

We have been to Avila many times before and had enjoyed our stay once again. The apt was in a great location. We biked all around town and spent time at the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped which we appreciated and the bed was comfy. Check in and out were easy. Would def book this property again!

Easy family beach vacation

My family and I enjoyed staying in this condo as it was only 1 block off the beach and close walking distance to shops and restaurants! The unit was clean and comfortable. The only negative is that the walls are very thin and we could hear people upstairs into the early evening and again early in the morning. Also we were visiting during a heat wave and there was no AC (understandable), but we felt uncomfortable opening the main windows at night because they are right off the street which made for warm sleeping conditions. Despite these issues we had an excellent time and would recommend this property for its close access to the beach and cleanliness!

Sound of the Ocean!

Love this spot! Open the windows at night and you will hear the ocean waves cracking against the shoreline. There’s something about the ocean that makes you feel relaxed and refreshed 🌊

Difficulties with property management.

We had a good stay in Avila beach at the property. The problems didn’t come until after. We were told we would get details and a contract the week before our stay. The email did not come through till the day after returning home. So when checking out we were not aware of any checkout procedures. We did not find any information in the unit as well. We are a very clean and responsible family. About a week after our stay I got an email on the refund of our deposit and it wasn’t the full amount. Just a receipt with no explanation or communication. When I called the rental company they were very deflecting and wouldn’t take responsibility for the lack of communication or contract standards. They told me they charged me for not dumping the trash and housekeeping found “vomit” in the bathroom. There definitely was not any vomit of any kind from me and my family left in the unit! I’m not sure how they can charge for standards in a contract that wasn’t even provided until after our stay, nor was posted anywhere in the unit. There seemed to be bad communication between Vrbo, the property company, and the actual property housekeeping. The representative over the phone was disrespectful, rude, and only would find ways to blame the customer. Overall, great stay till a situation came up with the property company that required responsible communication.

Great location but thin walls

We had a girls weekend and there were 3 of us. There is only a queen bed. The other bed is a inflatable worked fine but there were only light blankets so the mattress got a little cold so next time I would bring more blankets. Also as others have said the walls are paper thin so we heard the other units above and to the side. Luckily we got good neighbors. Super cute place. Very clean and good location otherwise.

Cute beach vacation spot

Great location, a short walk to beach and all the restaurants. Clean, fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need including coffee-maker. Handy to have a parking spot, as who wants to search for one on vacation. Only down side is noise. The walls are thin and you can hear the unit next door to you, and the people above. Property manager responsive.
