Our stylish, cozy & newly renovated beach home accommodates two guests & is located in the heart of laid-back Calle Del Valle, just steps from the beach.
We offer free parking, a 10min walk from Ocean Park beach, 2 minutes from vibrant Calle Loiza w/ amazing restaurants (Criollo, Italian, Mexican, Burgers, Irish pub, etc) & Walgreens & bars. Fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar w/ stools, open bathroom & a fantastic location.

This place offers an enormous bounty of one-of-a-kind experiences!

The space
Sol y Luna # 1 is on the 1st floor facing Del Valle Street, and has about 2 steps to get into the unit. It's a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom, with living room and kitchen/dining area. It has tall ceilings with air conditioning only in the bedrooms, with a ceiling fan in the living area.

The ideal location for a beach and San Juan vacation! Return to this apartment after a fun day of adventure; the designs are simple but have a timeless appeal.

Clean and functional, everything here is ideal for a weekend getaway or a much-needed vacation to the beach!

-All communication must be on the VRBO message thread of a confirmed reservation. You must download the app on your phone for all messages to display correctly. Please note I have 40 listings so this is crucial to offer the best service. This will allow me to address questions quickly as the platform identifies you immediately.

-Please note that Puerto Rico is on Atlantic Standard Time when you need to get in touch with me. If it is off hours, please allow some time for a response or search in the Listing Details and/or VRBO message thread for the answer to your question.

-No 3rd party bookings are allowed. The person that books must be present at all times. No information will be shared with anyone other than the person that booked the reservation. If not followed your reservation may be canceled at anytime.

-No early check in or late check out. If you wish to check in earlier please book the previous night, and if you wish to check out later please book the following night if available. There are many restaurants near the airport and/or the properties where you can enjoy a meal or a drink in while waiting. You could also visit the Mall of San Juan just across from SJU Airport or Plaza Las Americas which is the largest mall in San Juan. Alternatively, you could leave your luggage at Hold my Bags – We keep your bags so you can keep going.

-Puerto Rico’s infrastructure suffers from spontaneous outages. That being said-power, water and internet may suffer an outage during your stay. If it is essential that you have these services uninterrupted be sure to book one of the listings that has a generator; otherwise, I recommend booking a hotel. No refunds will be granted for power, water or internet outages.

-Some listings have fees depending on the amount of guests to account for additional expenditures with the increased amount of guests. If you do not book for the correct amount of guests your reservation may be canceled at anytime.

-We also certain amenities per the amount of nights and guests. If you do not put the correct amount of guests you may be missing some of these for your stay.

-We provide paper towel and toilet paper for your arrival and a few days after. If these run out guests must buy their own.

-Payment processing is handled by VRBO, so all inquiries must be directed to them including partial payments, payment dates, etc.

Location close to food/entertainment, tidy, great communication w/ property mgr. Stay mindful…

I rated each based on the star scale property manager sent me as example. Pros: unit was clean/organized, had towels soap basic kitchen supplies (pots/pans, silverware, soap/sponge, microwave, paper towel, etc), beach gear & towels, & some sunscreen, Roku TV quick w/ access to guest streaming services, AC units & first aid kits in both bedrooms, door lock & extra gate door helped with safety a bit, close proximity to popular street w/ restaurants & some entertainment … Cons: some out of control by owner - location…we were 2 30 y/o girls familiar with careful observant of surroundings while walking at dark(have traveled to Chicago, ATL, & are from Detroit area). Our first night was slightly terrifying. After walking to Cafequeteria for food & Walgreens for some supplies (buy H2O!) which is only a few blocks taking 3 rights; guess I could give details on my trip but synopsis is eventually we made the most of the stay, I felt ok locking my stuff behind the deadbolted doors, we did walk at night very on guard. Nobody bothered us other than looking over & one “catcall”, just feeling of having to stay on-guard. I really don’t want this to deter the right people from trying the place, can’t beat the price for location & amenities offered. The bathroom needs some remodeling. We couldn’t flush TP & there are some mold issues. Construction next to bldg started around 0800. Heard some barking & abuse to dogs :( There are 2 ponies at the block which was pretty cool. Our last night we..

Quaint

Location and apartment was great, however there is a home being renovated directly behind the property. The workers were there early in the morning which resulted in us getting up earlier than we wanted on our vacation. This is definitely not the property operators fault but would have been nice to know prior to booking. The property manager was great to deal with. We would stay there again.

I was perfectly and totally comfortable here. This apartment is spacious and clean, and the beach gear that the owner makes available in the unit is a nice bonus!

Great location

I traveled with my sister to PR to visit a friend and we took a chance on this location since there were no reviews. Best decision we ever made! The location of the apartment was perfect, very close to restaurants and supermarkets. Jose was extremely helpful and quickly answered any and all our questions. It was our home away from home. We definitely plan on staying here again in the future.
